제주대학교 실습선 아라호에 장착된 능동형 횡 동요 감쇠장치의 성능이 선박의 속력과의 관계를 파악 하기 위하여 선박을 정지, 미속, 중속, 전속으로 구분하여 횡 동요 감쇠장치를 정지(Passive A.R.T), 작동(Active A.R.T)을 했을 때 경사계에 의한 횡 동요각 및 종 동요각, 풍속계에 의한 풍속의 변화에 의한 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 선박이 정지했을 때가 능동형 횡 동요 감쇠장치의 1/3, 1/10 횡 동요각 유의 진폭에서 감소률이 가장 높아 47.2%, 50.3%를 나타냈으며, 반면에 중속인 경우 가장 낮은7.1%, 7.4% 나타내므로, 이 장치는 선속의 변화에 차이가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 2. 선속의 변화에 따라 그 효율이 많은 차이가 있으므로 이 장치를 장착한 선박의 운항자는 이를 감안하여 작동하여야 할 것으로 생각되며, 통계분석 결과에 의해서 선속과 감소률의 관계를 회귀분석식으로 나타내어 보면 다음과 같았다. 즉, 횡동요각 유의 진폭 (Amplitude of and significant roll (φ_(1/3)) : y= -3.233χ + 45.613 횡동요각 유의 진폭 (Amplitude of and significant roll (φ_(1/10)) : y= -3.157χ + 46.840을 각각 얻을 수 있었다. This experimental paper deals with the performance of tanks that are turned the active A.R.T(Anti-Rolling Tank) when the fluid transfers from wing tanks to the opposite tank by the power developed by the automatic control system (INTERING Stabilizer), which was installed in the fishery training ship T/S. A - RA (G/T : 990 tons) of Cheju National University. In this paper, the author has tested the performance of INTERING Stabilizer from the signals obtained by the inclinometer in irregular waves and compared with the results obtained in passive mode operation at stop and at various ship speeds. The performances of the system were confirmed the results as follows through the tests : 1. The Rates of reduction in significant roll(φ_(1/3)) of performance of Active-Rolling Tank at stop. dead slow ahead, half ahead, full ahead were obtained 47.2%, 26.3%, 7.7% 9.7%, respectively. 2. The operators had to consider to be different to change according to the various ship speeds for working. and the author could get the linea regressions about the rates of reduction at the results of a statistical analysis through the time histories of rolling angles in A.R.T. in irregular waves using various ship's speeds. <P>The effect of high-pressure annealing on the performance and negative bias temperature illumination stress (NBTIS)-induced instability of amorphous InGaZnO (a-IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) is investigated. IGZO TFTs that were annealed in a H<SUB>2</SUB>O vapor-assisted high-pressure O<SUB>2</SUB> atmosphere exhibited significantly improved field-effect mobility and stability against NBTIS compared with those annealed in only high-pressure O<SUB>2</SUB> or air. Annealing under high-pressure O<SUB>2</SUB> in the presence of H<SUB>2</SUB>O vapor effectively reduces oxygen-related defects, which act as subgap states within the bandgap. This phenomenon affects band alignments, including the bandgap and conduction band offset [Δ(E<SUB>C</SUB>–E<SUB>F</SUB>)] of IGZO semiconductors, and is the basis for the improved performance and stability of the TFTs.</P>

There are two beamlines (BLs), 4C1 and 4C2, at the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory that are dedicated to small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The 4C1 BL was constructed in early 2000 and is open to public users, including both domestic and foreign researchers. In 2003, construction of the second SAXS BL, 4C2, was complete and commissioning and user support were started. The 4C2 BL uses the same bending magnet as its light source as the 4C1 BL. The 4C1 BL uses a synthetic double multilayer monochromator, whereas the 4C2 BL uses a Si(111) double crystal monochromator for both small angle and wide angle X-ray scattering. In the 4C2 BL, the collimating mirror is positioned behind the monochromator in order to enhance the beam flux and energy resolution. A toroidal focusing mirror is positioned in front of the monochromator to increase the beam flux and eliminate higher harmonics. The 4C2 BL also contains a digital cooled charge coupled detector, which has a wide dynamic range and good sensitivity to weak scattering, thereby making it suitable for a range of SAXS and wide angle X-ray scattering experiments. The general performance of the 4C2 BL was initially tested using standard samples and further confirmed by the experience of users during three years of operation. In addition, several grazing incidence X-ray scattering measurements were carried out at the 4C2 BL.

In order to improve the standard of education and research environment with simulation, we suggest EDISON (EDucation-research Integration through Simulation On the Net) project. EDISON platform allows professors, researchers, industrial workers, and students to register, use, and share their simulation software and contents based on the cyber infrastructure of supercomputer and network, and recent research achievements. EDISON platform consists of 3 tiers such as application framework, middleware, and infrastructure to provide an amount of simulation and contents service. To construct the problem solving environment with simulation in 5 area (CFD, Chemistry, Physics, Structural dynamics, Computational design), EDISON platform provides a domain specific web simulation and contents service for each area. Especially, EDISON-CFD indicates the EDISON in Computational Fluid Dynamics that support Fluid dynamics education and research.

Purpose:Purpose: We aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of penile girth enhancement (PGE) using hyaluronic acid (HA) filler with different physical properties from previous studies. Additionally, we evaluated the clinical impact on ejaculation after PGE. Materials and Methods:Materials and Methods: This was a prospective, patient/evaluator-blinded, randomized, active-controlled, multicenter trial. Patients recruited between December 2017 and March 2018 were randomly assigned to the HA filler or control group (poly-lactic acid [PLA] filler). Penile girth, satisfaction level, Premature Ejaculation Profile (PEP), and self-estimated intravaginal ejaculation latency time (IELT) were assessed at baseline and at 24 weeks post-injection. Results:Results: Sixty-four subjects (32 in each group) completed the trial. The mean increase in girth was 22.74±12.60 mm and 20.23±8.73 mm in the HA and control groups, respectively. Satisfaction level regarding penile appearance and sexual life significantly increased in both groups. There was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of in-crease in penile girth or change in satisfaction level. Both groups showed significant improvements in PEP index scores. Self-estimated IELT also significantly increased in the HA group (from 5.36±3.51 to 7.86±4.73 minutes, p=0.0001) and control group (from 5.23±3.55 to 6.43±4.22 minutes, p=0.021). No serious adverse events (AEs) were reported. CCoonncclluussiioonnss:: PGE with HA and PLA fillers resulted in significant enhancement of girth without serious AEs with no significant differences. Furthermore, PGE using filler improved clinical symptoms related to ejaculation.

피부 농양절개술 후 계속되는 출혈을 주소로 입원한 진성다혈증 환자에서 혈액응고인자, Ⅰ,Ⅷ,Ⅸ, ?? 등의 감소와 혈소판의 기능 장애를 동반한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. We report a case of polycythemia vera combined with coagulation disorder. The patient was 54 years old man who complained of continuous bleeding after incision of skin abscess 20 days ago. Laboratory tests were revealed prolonged aPTT and slightly prolonged PT. Coagulation factor, I, VIII, IX, ?? and fibrinogen decreased, however FDP did not increased. It appears that patient with polycythemia vera have chronic activation of coagulation system, probably initiated by activation of factor XII. Platelet aggregation test to ADP, collagen, epinephrine was also revealed poor response.
