      • 基準點 間隔이 블럭調整의 精密度에 미치는 影響에 관한 硏究

        Up to now, analyses of the precision in A.T, have been dealt with hypothesis of error-free on ground control coordinates. In fact, it is not error-free but the precision of ground control surveying is higher than the precision of aerotriangulation. In this investigation, it has, therefore, given weight corresponding to precison of the ground control surveying, and it has analyzed the influence which the precision of ground control coordinates exerts upon the absolute error of check points with the change of the control spacing. Then, the results of this investigation can be concluded as follows: (1) In weight 10^1 case, it has known that ground control coordinates have been permitted error-free. (2) It is thought that it will be desirable to give the corresponding weight when the precision of ground control surveying is had. (3) The absolute error goes to bad with the change of control spacing from 2 models to 4 models. Therefore, it is known that the control spacing influences the absolute error.

      • 무도 종목별 스포츠 적성 체력 판별에 영향을 미치는 체력 요인 분석

        The standard of value of winning in sports has become much important and the standard of physical strength improvement serves as the most important conformity for assessment of players, thus, it is required to identify what are the major factors for performance of play to improve the technique of Yongmoodo, Taekwondo and Kumdo athletes. Accordingly, researchers, scientists, and leaders of sports analyse the factors for performance of play focussed on how to improve the performance of play, and anticipate to analyse, to be informed of, and to assess the players and training result based on the result of play. Thus, the study is designed to find out the physical factors for decision of records of play in university students Yongmoodo, Taekwondo and Kumdo athletes under planned training and to identify physical factors of play performance of Yongmoodo, Taekwondo and Kumdo athletes. SPSS V11.0 ststistic program was used in processing of data in this study. Stepwise discriminant analysis was applied in identification of major assessment items showing the difference between the groups, and partial F-test statistic was utilized, on the assumption that contribution ratios of each variable are the difference between the groups, to assess their statistical significance and to make decision whether to select the variables. 1. In determination of Yongmoodo, Taekwondo and Kumdo athletes by physical strength, statistic showed statistical significance with 5% of significance level. 2. The order of contribution of variables that determine the performance of play as well as run to 100m, back strength, abdominal muscular endurance, flexibility, muscular endurance of upper arms are Yongmoodo athletes, thus, grip strength, agility and 1 mile run are Taekwondo and Kumdo athletes. 3. In therms of accuracy of the reclassification of determination factors as sports talent fitness of martial-arts event style, the reclassification into Yongmoodo(78.8%) and Taekwondo(86.8%) was higher compare that of Kumdo(37.7%). In therms of accuracy of the reclassification of determination factors as sports talent fitness of all martial-arts event style, the reclassification into Yongmoodo, Taekwondo and Kumdo were 69.8%.

        In order to investigate that blood lead levels of lead exposed workers is associated with decreased performance in neurobehavioral tests in adults, we investigate 78 workers in a battery industry. Three items among neurobehavioral core test battery of World Health Organization, including digit span, Santa ana dexterity, digit symbol were administered to workers occupationally lead exposed workers by operational guide for the WHO neurobehavioral core test battery. Blood lead (PbB) and zinc protoporphyrin in whole blood (ZZP) were selected as an index of lead exposure. Detailed occupational history such as exposed agent, age, work duration, smoking and drinking habits, were recorded as confounding factors. After controlling age, the results of digit span and digit symbol among the neurobehavioral tests were significant contributed by PbB.

        <▼1><P><B>Significance</B></P><P>Emotion-related responses, such as fear and anxiety, are important behavioral phenomena in most animal species, as well as in humans. However, the underlying mechanisms of fear and anxiety in animals and in humans are still largely unknown, and anxiety disorders continue to represent a large unmet medical need in the human clinic. Animal models may speed up discovery of these mechanisms and may also lead to betterment of human health. Herein, we report the identification of a chemokine-like gene family, <I>samdori</I> (<I>sam</I>), and present functional characterization of <I>sam2</I>. We observed increased anxiety-related responses in both zebrafish and mouse knockout models. Taken together, these results support a crucial and evolutionarily conserved role of <I>sam2</I> in regulating anxiety-like behavior.</P></▼1><▼2><P>Emotional responses, such as fear and anxiety, are fundamentally important behavioral phenomena with strong fitness components in most animal species. Anxiety-related disorders continue to represent a major unmet medical need in our society, mostly because we still do not fully understand the mechanisms of these diseases. Animal models may speed up discovery of these mechanisms. The zebrafish is a highly promising model organism in this field. Here, we report the identification of a chemokine-like gene family, <I>samdori</I> (<I>sam</I>), and present functional characterization of one of its members, <I>sam2</I>. We show exclusive mRNA expression of s<I>am2</I> in the CNS, predominantly in the dorsal habenula, telencephalon, and hypothalamus. We found knockout (KO) zebrafish to exhibit altered anxiety-related responses in the tank, scototaxis and shoaling assays, and increased <I>crh</I> mRNA expression in their hypothalamus compared with wild-type fish. To investigate generalizability of our findings to mammals, we developed a <I>Sam2</I> KO mouse and compared it to wild-type littermates. Consistent with zebrafish findings, homozygous KO mice exhibited signs of elevated anxiety. We also found bath application of purified SAM2 protein to increase inhibitory postsynaptic transmission onto CRH neurons of the paraventricular nucleus. Finally, we identified a human homolog of <I>SAM2</I>, and were able to refine a candidate gene region encompassing <I>SAM2</I>, among 21 annotated genes, which is associated with intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder in the 12q14.1 deletion syndrome. Taken together, these results suggest a crucial and evolutionarily conserved role of <I>sam2</I> in regulating mechanisms associated with anxiety.</P></▼2>

        Correlation between chromosome abnormalities and genomic imprinting in developing human - 1) Frequent biallelic expression of insulin-like growth factor II (IGF2) in gynogenetic Ovarian Teratomas: Uncoupling of H19 and IGF2 imprinting

        Human uniparental gestations such as gynogenetic ovarian teratomas provide a model to evaluate the integrity of parent-specific gene expression - i.e. imprinting - in the absence of a complementary parental genetic contribution. The few imprinted genes characterized so far include the insulin-like growth factor-2 gene (IGF2) coding for a fetal growth factor and H19 gene whose normal function is unknown but it is likely to act as an mRNA. IGF2 is expressed by the paternal allele and H19 by the maternal allele. This reciprocal expression is quite interesting because both H19 and IGF2 genes are located close to each other on chromosome 11p15.5. In situ RNA hybridization analysis has shown variable expression of the H19 and IGF2 alleles according to the tissue origin in 11 teratomas. Especially, Skin, derivative of ectoderm, is expressed conspicuously. We examined imprinting of H19 and IGF2 in teratomas using PCR and RT-PCR of exonic polymorphism. H19 and IGF2 transcript could be expressed either biallelically or monoallelically in the teratomas. Biallelic expression (i.e., loss of imprinting) of IGF2 occurred in 5 out of 6 mature teratomas and 1 out of 1 immature teratoma. Biallelic expression of H19 occurred in 4 out of 10 mature teratomas and 1 out of 1 immature teratoma. Expression levels of H19 and IGF2 transcript using the semi-quantitative RT-PCR had no relation between monoallelic and biallelic expression. Moreover, IGF2 biallelic expression did not affect allele-specificity or levels of H19 expression. These results demonstrate that both genes, H19 and IGF2, can be imprinted, expressed and regulated independently and individually of each other in ovarian teratoma.

        Research Note : Seed-borne Brachycladium penicillatum Intercepted under Plant Quarantine Inspection in Korea

        A fungus detected from the importing seeds of Papaver rhoeas under plant quarantine inspection in Korea was identified as Brachycladium penicillatum Corda. It differed in morphological characteristics from a similar species, B. papaveris, which was known to form no macroconidiophores and no microsclerotia. Since the first interception in 2006, this fungus has frequently been found from importing seeds of Papaver spp. It was detected from 31 out of 282 seed consignments imported from 2006 to 2011. To prevent its introduction to Korea, the seed consignments infested by B. penicillatum were destroyed or reshipped.

        First Report of Black Spot Caused by Alternaria alternata on Grafted Cactus

        A stem spot disease was observed on Gymnocalycium mihanovichii (Korean name: Bimoran), a scion of graftcactus, in major growing areas of Goyang and Eumseong, Korea during 2008 and 2009. Typical symptoms were initial blackish brown lesions produced mainly on areoles and scars of injured stem tissues, gradually becoming large black spots. A causal organism isolate CD2-7A isolated from the infected stems was identified as Alternaria alternata based on its morphological characteristics and confirmed by the DNA sequencing analysis of ITS, glyceraldehydes-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (gpd), and allergen Alt a1 (Alt a 1) genes. Artificial inoculation of the fungal isolate CD2-7A produced the same rot symptoms on the cactus stems, from which the same fungus was isolated and identified. This is the first report of the black spot caused by A. alternata in the grafted cactus.

      • Cases of Eco-Friendly Pigsty and Hog Feeding and Management Based on u-IT Information Systems

        This study introduces cases of individual feeding systems for sow and the sow sorters which are the subparts of an eco-friendly feeding and management system based on a u-IT program using the hog feeding and management information system. The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis of economic feasibility on cases of the improvement of the system using the u-IT and to provide information on the positive effects of an introduction of an eco-friendly pigsty and hog feeding and management system to hog raisers and government officials. The literature review and background section examine the effects of the introduction of u-IT technology into the field of livestock raising, hog feeding and management information system, and the eco-friendly feeding and management system based on the u-IT. This paper will present the results of the analysis on the effects and the economic feasibility of the individual feeding system for sow and the sow sorter utilizing the u-IT technology and information systems. The results of this study will contribute to the sustainable development of the hog raising industry by showing that the new feeding and management system utilizing the u-IT can not only increase the efficiency and productivity of farm management but also contribute to efficient, eco-friendly hog feeding and management.

        Case Report : Cushing syndrome in pregnancy secondary to adrenal adenoma

        We report a case of Cushing syndrome secondary to adrenal adenoma presenting with hypertension and oligohydramnios during pregnancy. The tumor was confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging at 28 week 3 day weeks of pregnancy and was removed surgically at 29 week 1 day weeks of gestation. After surgery, hypertension subsided and amniotic fluid volume returned to normal range. The gravid woman subsequently delivered a healthy infant at term.
