        주입 뇌부종 모델에서 글루타민산이 체성감각 유발전위에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The infusion edema model was applied to study the effect of ℓ-glutamic acid on the central conduction time of the cat somatosensory pathway which was compromised in the deep white matter by infusing known amount of ℓ-glutamic acid and physiologic saline in the left and right frontal respectively. According to the different acidity of the ℓ-glutamic acid three groups A (pH = 3.22), B (pH = 5.13), and C (pH = 7.39) were made, but the concentration of glutamic acid was 20m Mol/L in all groups. Infusion of normal saline (0.9%, pH = 5.11) into the right frontal deep white matter was common in all groups. During 4 hours of slow infusion of the infusates (average 0.48 ml in each side totally) central conduction times were measured every hour via contralateral median nerve stimulation, bilaterally. Finally the cat was sacrificed and specimens of the edematous white matter obtained bilaterally at the corresponding points and percentage water content was measured. The results were as follows: 1) Overall average percentage water content was 82.36% and there was no statistically significant differences between the glutamic acid and saline infusion sites in each group. 2) The I-Ni interpeak latency was labelled as central conduction time (CCT), and over all baseline CCT was 5.04 msec, 5.09 msec, left and right side respectively. 3) The differences of CCT between glutamic and saline infusion edema were statistically significant in group A and Bat 2, 3, 4 hours infusion, but the differences of CCT from the baseline value in the same side were absent in group A and B. In contrast, group C showed no differences in CCT between glutamic acid and saline infusion edema, but CCT comparisons with baseline value among same infusate were significantly prolonged at 4 hours infuion on both sides. Intergroup unpaired t-test for checking intergroup differences among the three glutamic acid groups showed no intergroup differences in CCT. 4) In the combined group the CCT was significantly different between the glutamic and saline sides at 2 hours (P < 0.005), 3 hours (P < 0.005), 4 hours (P < 0.025) infusion. The comparison of each hour CCT with the baseline value showed statistically significant prolongation of CCT only in glutamic side at 3,4 hours infusion. The results indicate the ℓ-glutamic acid which is normally present in brain edema fluid can modulate local biochemical milieu of the brain as to increase the CCT.

      • Dewey와 Bruner의 敎育過程에 대한 比較 考察

        It is said that we commit a fault when understood and utilized the theories or conceptions of education in seperation. The purpose of this paper is the establishment of the controversy issue and the search of common features between Dewey and Bruner. ⑴ Quality of experience and Structure: This topic starts under the assumption that Bruner's structure is included within the concept of quality in Dewey. The structure has been apprehended at a time in course of our being interacted with the object. We have had "idea" while devotion of ourself to a puzzle problem. The structure is composed of this idea. Thus, it seems to be included both the subfective conditions (feel) and the objective conditions. ⑵ Interest and Discover: It is known that the educative process in Bruner is systematic in comparison with Dewey's theory. So is the educative process as developmert of interest in Dewey. Its theoritical foundations are brought forward; ⑴ Interest is dependent upon Grouth. ⑵ Interest is working for translation the practical side into the theoritical side. ⑶ By action of interest is acquired the experience in general. ⑷ Through interest we can have knowldeges or concepts omitting the direct experience. ⑸ Interest has the autonomy. ⑹ Interest has the action with the thought. But There is a remarkable contrast between the two in the purposes and background of philosophy. For Dewey, the educative process is individualistic, and is common in Bruner. The former has the noministic view, the subject and the object, idea and data, child and curriculum, interest and effort, while the latter emphasizes the higher mental ability-the dualistic view.

      • 무한 Ridge에서 수심에 따른 흐름 변동에 관한 연구

        To study on the zonal flow variation over infinite ridge with various depth potential condervative vorticity equation at three layer depth is derived by using Lossby's equation. By comparing with analytic model of two layer depth infinite ridge and that of three layer one, flow stream line variation patterns are found clearly. The stream line pattern changes propotion to the depth variations. The developed analytic model is good agreement with Rossby's theory and shows the applicability of the real ocean state.

        소아 척수종양 24예의 임상분석(1973~1986) : Clinical Analysis of 24 Cases(1973~1986)

        The authors analyzed 24 cases of intraspinal tumors in children who had been operated upon at the Seoul National University Hospital from 1973 to 1986. The ratio of male to female was 2 : 1. The pathologic diagnosis revealed neurogenic tumor in 8 cases(33%), metastasis in 3 cases(13%), glioma in 3 cases(13%), lymphoma in 3 cases(33%), metastasis in 3 cases(13%), sarcoma in 3 cases(13%), and tumor of dysembryogenesis in 2 cases(8%). The tumors were located most frequently in the thoracolumbar area(7 cases, 29%) and in the epidural space(12 cases, 50%). Two thirds of the epidural tumors were malignant. The most common initial presentation was motor weakness(9 cases, 38%). Three cases(13%) presented with mass and one case(4%) with flexion deformity. On admission 9 cases(38%) were in the paraparetic stage, 6 cases(25%) in the radiculopathic stage, and 6 cases in the Brown-Sequard syndrome stage. The mean value of the CSF protein was 1, 108 mg%. Plain spine X-rays were abnormal in 17 cases(74%) and the increased interpedicular distance(11 cases, 48%) was the most common radiological abnormality. Myelographic studies were performed in 21 cases and all of them revealed abnormal findings. Total and gross total removal was possible in 13 cases(54%). Radiation therapy was done in 8 cases(33%) and chemotherapy in 5 cases(21%). The surgical result on discharge or at the postoperative one month was recovery in 7 cases(29%), improvement in 10 cases(42%), stationary state in 4 cases(17%), and progression in 3 cases(13%). After 20.8 months of mean follow-up duration in 20 cases(84%), the result was recovery in 13 cases(65%), improvement in 2 cases(10%), stationary state in one case(5%), and progression in cases(20%). As a major complication, there was a spinal deformity in 6 cases(29%) among 21 cases who did not have spinal deformity preoperatively. Three cases(13%) were followed up to their deaths. And the authors discussed the clinical features of the pediatric intraspinal tumors reported in the literature and the results of the present study.

        The source of the educational ideology of the university in Lee Dynasty was BENEVOLENCE and RIGHTEOUSNESS (仁義). Benevolcnce and righteousness is a way of human life. This is a "Sollen" by means of which human beings should behave. A way of human life, benevolence is courtesy, love, filial duty, loyalty, courage, faith and respectfulness, Morality, sincerity, human principle, duty, and goodness arc what human beings should do. Benevolence and righteousness teach people a way of peaceful life in the way of mutual love, which may be an action of passion. This spirit of loving other was based on the ideology of education in Lee Dynasty. Human morality good courtesy was so required that benevolence and righteousness could be put into practice. Human morality was a margin of practical philosophy, which was benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and sincerity. Mencius(孟子) had explained the contents of the human morality in his five morals. The followings are the five morals. 1. Relations between father and son. (父子有親) 2. Relations between king and people (君臣有義) 3. Relations between husband and wife (夫婦有別) 4. Relations between old and youth (長幼有序) 5. Relations between friends (朋友有信) Each relationship of above fine morals is a measurement of practical morality, and is put on the basis of the principle of subject. Confucianism was the principle of leading peaceful human life, following the human relationship. Those who followed this ideology could be called Saged gentleman. (聖賢君子) Saged gentleman was a man who respected benevolence and righteousness, was humble and prestige, and was always reflecting what he had done, and his words were put into practice The final object of the education in Lee Dynasty was to train Saged gentleman and to make the policy of kingdom realize in this way. The social system of Lee Dynasty was feudalism. Those self-trained Saged gentleman highly served the king, disciplined the common people, and served to keep the feudal society in a good order. The above mentioned was the educational ideology of the University in Lee Dynasty.

      • 儒敎 經典의 敎育思想的 基底

        The purpose of this study was to find out the main concepts and implications of educational thought implied in Confucian sacred books to provide foundations of educational and ethical principles of modern education. The five Chinese classics (O. Gyung. 五經) and the four sacred books of Confucianism (Sa-Seo, 四書) are called as the Confucian sacred books or the Confucian bibles. They are based on the doctrine of human-heartedness or Jen(仁) and righteousness or Yi(義) The doctrine of human-heartedness is the central theme of Confucius (552 479B.C.) The doctrine of human-heartedness is the central theme of Mencius (372 289B.C.) The human-heartedness means self control and reference for propriety(克己復禮), extending civility and wisdom(博文約禮) universal love, altruistic service and sympathy. The righteousness means morality, justice and sense of duty. The humanheartedness denoted the ethical doctrine of internal spirit and the righteousness of the entity of external things. Confucian education based on the doctrine of human-heartedness and righteousness aimed to enlighten the ethics of human relation, order, duty and moral contuct and to discipline the basic propriety or the five rules of ritual in order to strive a perfect and harmoneous development of personality with a view to the attainment of the supreme good or virtue.

        As the roughness coefficient by existing manning table is used by technician's experience and judgement, it isn't always correct. This study as a try to make quantitative roughness coefficient is to suggest a new application mode computerizing roughness coefficient by surveying the velocity and hydraulic condition of small rivers. The bound of roughness coefficient was 0.027∼0.180 and its values distribute uniformly. This means that the roughness coefficient adapt value Manning table cannot fill up the transformed value when the small rivers are low. The roughness coefficient computation mode in this study with hydraulic radius(R), channel slope(I), average grain diameter(D) as subject factors presents as follows. n = 5.97R^0.671 l^0.452 D^0.059

        전기화상후 Prostaglandin F2a와 Thromboxane B2의 증가에 대한 Flurbiprofen, Prednisolone 및 Gabexate mesilate의 억제효과

        This study was conducted to clarify the inhibitory effect of flurbiprofen, prednisolone, and gabexate mesilate on the synthesis of prostaglandin F2a and thromboxane B2 in the tissue of electrical burn. one hundred sixty Sprague-Dawley rats, 250gm of body weight in average, were divided into 4 groups of control, flurbiprofen, prednisolone and gabexate mesilate administred group. Fourty rats of the each group were subdivided into 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th postburn day with 10 rats in each subgroup. Ten rats were used for normal values of prostaglandin F2a and thromboxane B2. Flurbiprodfen 30mg/kg was given per mouth, and prednisolone acetate 5mg/kg and gabaxate mesilate 50mg/kg were administred intramuscularly 5 minutes after burn injury and then once a day. All but bone tissue of within 2cm area of the current entry were harvested and ground into homogenate. The levels of prostaglandin F2a and thromoboxane B2 were measured by Radioimmunoassay. The results were as followings: In normal rat tissue, the level of prostagland F2a and thromboxane B2 were 15.8±1.8 and 17.6±2.8ng/mg protein in each. In the control group the levels of both prostaglandin F2a and thromboxane B2 increased abruptly to 5 times and 7 thimes in the first day and maintained the same level in the second day. After then they rapidly decreased and returned to a near normal level in the fourth day. The increase of thromboxane B2 was more remarkable than that of prostaglandin F2a. In the flurbiprofen group, the level of thromboxane B2 was not inerease but kept at a normal level. The average level of prostaglandin F2a in the post-burn first and second day was 59.5% lower than of the control group. The average level on the post-burn first and second day was 61% lower in thromboxane B2 and 33% lower in prostaglandin F2a in the prednisolone group, and 68% lower in throboxane B2 and 48% lower in prostaglandin F2a in the gabexate mesilate group, compared to the control group. These findings suggest that electrically injured tissue is vigrously progressive due to rapid increase of thromboxane B2 and prostaglandin F2a, as inflammatory mediators, in the post-burn first and second day, is nonprogressive after the post-burn fourth day. The flurbiprodfen was the most effective of the three drugs(flurbiprofen, gabexate mesilate, prednisolone in order of effectiveness) to suppress the synthesis of thromboxane B2 prostaglandin F2a of the electrieally injured tissue.
