        Chitinase-producing Salinivibrio bacteria isolated from salt-fermented shrimp with antimicrobial and safety assessments

        Chitinases are glycosyl hydrolases which cleave the β- 1,4 linkage of chitin into oligo or monomers of N-acetylglucosamine. These bacterial enzymes have been used for a wide range of applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. In this study, we isolated two potential chitinolytic strains, BAO-01 and BAO-02, from salt-fermented shrimp, which were shown to belong to the genus Salinivibrio through genetic characterization using 16S rRNA. These isolates were gram-positive, rod-shaped, and non-spore forming. BAO-01 showed greater growth and chitinase activity than BAO-02 after the incubation at 37 oC for 4 days. Both strains grew on a wide range of carbon and nitrogen sources, pH values, temperatures, and salt levels. However, they showed minor biochemical differences. In addition, their antimicrobial activities against foodborne pathogens and antibiotic susceptibilities were evaluated. These Salinivibrio spp. did not show bioamine production, hemolytic activity, and mucin degradation. Therefore, the in vitro screening results suggested that these bacteria could be widely used as new candidates for chitin hydrolyzation and seafood fermentation.

        Identification and expression patterns of 20-hydroxyecdysoneresponsive genes from Procambarus clarkii

        Ecdysteroids play an important role in the regulation of molting process in crustaceans. The suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) technique was employed to search for 20-hydroxyecdysone-responsive genes in the hepatopancreas of the crayfish Procambarus clarkii. Ninety-three putative expressed sequence tags were identified by SSH, including three immune response-related genes, two cell cycle and apoptosis genes, four respiration and energy metabolism genes, four transport-related genes, six metabolism-related genes, two stress response genes, and eight transcription and translation regulation genes. The expression levels of the examined genes were regulated by 20-hydroxyecdysone and varied in the hepatopancreas during the molting stages; data were confirmed by real-time PCR. RNAi of the ecdysteroid receptor had significant effects on the expression levels of 20-hydroxyecdysone- responsive genes. These differentially expressed genes identified by SSH will provide insight into the ecdysteroid signaling pathway in P. clarkii.

        Anti-aging skin and antioxidant assays of protein hydrolysates obtained from salted shrimp fermented with Salinivibrio cibaria BAO-01

        This study focused on the preparation and characterization of anti-wrinkle peptides from the salted and fermented shrimp (Acetes japonicus) inoculated with Salinivibrio cibaria BAO-01 (SFSC). The results showed the proximate composition of SFSC to be 9.23% water, 75.32% protein, 0.23% fat, and 13.3 mg/g ash. Interestingly, the S. cibaria fermentation significantly increased the amount of methionine, leucine, and arginine. The in vitro antioxidant activity was assayed by the diphenylpicrylhydrazyl method and its IC50 value was found to be 43.02±2.84 μg/mL. It was observed to inhibit the activity of elastase, tyrosinase, collagenase, and hyaluronidase. The IC50 values of SFSC were 182.75±12.38 μg/mL for anti-elastase activity, 186.78±7.95 μg/mL for anti-tyrosinase activity, 444.4±34.81 μg/mL for anti-collagenase activity, and 1447.95±28.92 μg/mL for anti-hyaluronidase activity. These results suggest that salted and fermented shrimp has strong potential for the development of nutricosmetic products.

        A city is the political, cultural, and economic centre of the region aroud it. A good urban system of a region can promote the development of the whole region. Yulin Prefecture, in the southeast Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region, is a richly endowed area. The urban system in Yulin Prefecture has been developing naturally for more than 2000 years, but now its some aspects, such as the centural city's scale, the scale structure, the functional division of the cities and towns, etc., are disadvantageous to the economic development of Yulin Prefecture. So the urban system need to be planned in order to promote effectively the regional overall prosperity. It is what this paper studies. The paper is divided into four sections: Ⅰ. Introduction Ⅱ.         The Impact of Credit and Stock Market Development on Economic Growth in Asian Countries

        The paper has used the Solow-Swan growth model to analyze the long-term impact of credit market development and stock market development on economic growth in Asia from 2000 to 2019. The empirical model is performed with panel cointegration analysis by Common Correlated Effects (CCE) method with cross-sectional dependencies. The results find that there exists a cointegration relationship among stock market, credit market development, and economic growth. These results also show that financial structure improves the exact impact of financial development on economic growth, namely the opposite effect of stock market development and credit market development. Moreover, the Granger causality test reveals a bi-directional relationship between credit market development and economic growth, while only unidirectional causality from stock market development to economic growth for the whole group panel. And it is different for a specific country, according to Kónya’s test. The view of the new structuralism does not apply in the Asian financial system when we estimate the Nonlinear Autoregressive Distributed Lag model (NARDL) to analyze the asymmetric relationship between financial structure and economic growth. On the whole, policymakers can draw on the findings to provide policy implications to improve their country’s financial system as well as pursue the goal of sustainable economic growth.

        AI-Enabled Special Education : A Study on Factors Influencing Chinese Disabled College Students' Acceptance of AI-Assisted Mobile Foreign Language Vocabulary Learning

        특수 교육 분야에서 인공지능 기술의 응용에 대한 관심이 점점 높아지고 있다. 모바일 학습 환경에서 스마트 기술은 장애 학생들에게 맞춤형 및 이용하기 용이한 언어 학습을 지원해 교육의 공정성을 높이고 학습 경험을 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 기존의 연구는 장애 학생들의 인공지능 보조 수단을 통한 모바일 언어 학습 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인 및 작용 메커니즘에 대한 관심이 부족했다. 본 연구는 장애 대학생 301명을 대상으로 최소자승법 구조방정식 모델(PLS-SEM)을 적용하여 인지적 태도와 감정적 태 도에 영향을 미치고 학생들의 수용도에 영향을 미치는 인지적 접근성, 인지적 유용성, 인지적 용이성 등과 같은 체계적인 특성을 분석하였다. 연구에 따르면 인지적 용이성과 인지적 유용성, 인지적 접근성은 차례로 학생들의 수용도에 영향을 미쳤다. 그중 인지적 용이성의 영향 정도가 가장 컸고 인지적 접근성의 영향 정도가 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났 다. 인지적 태도와 감정적 태도는 외부 자극 요인과 수용도 사이에서 이중매개 역할을 하였다. 그러나 인지적 접근성은 감정적 태도가 아닌 인지적 태도라는 단일 경로를 통해 수용도에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 이는 장애 학생들의 신기술 적용에 대한 심리적 요인 및 작용 메커니즘을 이해하는 데 도움이 되고 나아가 인지적 용이성, 감정적 경험 등의 요소의 중요성을 보여주고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 특수 교육 분야의 기술 수용 행위에 대한 연구를 풍부하게 하여 관련 학습 시스템의 최적화된 설계와 적용을 위한 실증적 근거와 실천적 시사점을 제공하고 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 특수 교육 분야에서 인공지능 기술의 심도 있는 적용과 혁신적 발전에 중요한 혁신적 가치가 있다. The application of artificial intelligence technology in special education is receiving increasing attention. In mobile learning environments, intelligent technology provides personalized and accessible language learning support for disabled students, potentially promoting educational equity and enhancing the learning experience. However, existing research has paid little attention to the factors influencing disabled students' acceptance of AI-assisted mobile foreign language vocabulary learning and the underlying mechanisms. This study targets 301 disabled college students, applying PLS-SEM to explore how system characteristics such as perceived accessibility, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use influence students' acceptance through cognitive and affective attitudes. The research finds that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived accessibility have decreasing levels of influence on students' acceptance, respectively. Cognitive and affective attitudes play a dual mediating role between external stimuli factors and acceptance, but perceived accessibility only influences acceptance through cognitive attitude rather than affective attitude. These findings reveal key psychological factors and mechanisms in disabled students' adoption of new technology, highlighting the importance of perceived ease of use and emotional experience. They enrich research on technology acceptance behavior in special education and provide empirical evidence and practical insights for optimizing the design and promotion of related learning systems. The results of this study have important reference value for the in-depth application and innovative development of artificial intelligence technology in special education.
