Single-View Reconstruction of a Manhattan World from Line Segments

Single-view reconstruction (SVR) is a fundamental method in computer vision. Often used for reconstructing human-made environments, the Manhattan world assumption presumes that planes in the real world exist in mutually orthogonal directions. Accordingly, this paper addresses an automatic SVR algorithm for Manhattan worlds. A method for estimating the directions of planes using graph-cut optimization is proposed. After segmenting an image from extracted line segments, the data cost function and smoothness cost function for graph-cut optimization are defined by considering the directions of the line segments and neighborhood segments. Furthermore, segments with the same depths are grouped during a depth-estimation step using a minimum spanning tree algorithm with the proposed weights. Experimental results demonstrate that, unlike previous methods, the proposed method can identify complex Manhattan structures of indoor and outdoor scenes and provide the exact boundaries and intersections of planes.

The internet has received a great deal of attention in the media and many companies have set up an internet presence. Also, Internet search engines are used by majority of web surfers to find on the web. However web users can be often dissatisfied with the mistakes in the retrieval of Travel' information from the Internet. The purpose of this study is to analyze the travel category structure in the internet search engines. I select three major search engines for the case study: Naver, Yahoo Korea and Empas, which ranked as top 3 of search engines such as Ranky and 100hot in July, 2004. Eventually. I can find the problems of "Travel' category structure in search engines. Also, it is concluded with a brief perspective of Travel category in the internet search engines and the implications for the future. Furthermore, this study should be beneficial to the web managers of internet search engine in designing effective web sites strategies.

급성 전방십자인대 손상 환자에서 조기 재건군과 지연 재건군의 결과 비교

Purpose: This study performed to compare degree of joint stiffness and clinical results between early and delayed reconstruction of acute anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. Materials and Methods: Thirty-four Patients who underwent ACL reconstruction between March 2008 and October 2010 enrolled this study. We divided the patient into 2 groups, early reconstruction group underwent surgery before a week, delayed reconstruction group underwent surgery after 3 weeks, before 6 weeks. All the patients underwent aggressive joint motion exercise till surgery and enrolled post operative rehabilitation program including self exercise. We checked range of motion, the Lachman test, the pivot shift test, the Lysholm score, the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) score and the Tegner score to evaluate the results. Results: At the final follow up. The Lysholm score was 91.82 in the early group and 94.83 in the delayed group. All the cases were rated above B (near normal) on IKDC score (P=0.217, P=0.845). The Tegner score was 6.7 in the early reconstruction group and 7.1 in the delayed group (P=0.840), there was no difference between the groups for the range of motion (P=0.873, P=0.873), no complication such as deep vein thrombosis or infection, no difference in the Lachman test, pivot shift test (P=0.606, P=0.118). Conclusion: We could obtain satisfactory clinical results in both the early and delayed reconstruction groups of acute ACL injuries. Therefore, the early reconstruction of ACL performed before a week could be one of the treatment options for acute ACL injury. 목적: 급성 전방십자인대 손상 환자에서 조기 재건술과 지연 재건술 간의 관절 강직 발생 정도와 임상적 결과를 비교하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2008년 3월부터 2010년 10월까지 급성 전방십자인대 손상 환자 중 전방십자인대 재건술을 시행한 34예를 대상으로 하였다. 수상 후 1주 이내에 재건술을 시행한 조기 재건군과 수상 후 3주에서 6주 사이에 재건술을 시행한 지연 재건군으로 나누어 수술 전까지 적극적인 관절 운동을 시행하고 술 후에 환자 스스로 운동이 가능하도록 하는 적극적인 재활 치료를 시행한 후 관절 운동 범위, Lachman 검사, pivot shift 검사, Lysholm 점수, International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) 점수, Tegner 활동도 점수를 이용하여 평가하였다. 결과: 최종 추시에서 Lysholm 점수는 조기 재건군 91.82점, 지연 재건군 94.83점이었고 IKDC 점수는 전례에서 B (거의 정상) 이상으로 회복되었다(P=0.217, P=0.845). Tegner 활동도 점수는 조기 재건군 6.7점, 지연 재건군 7.1점이었고 (P=0.840) 관절 운동 범위는 양군 간에 차이가 없었으며(P=0.873, P=0.873) 심부 정맥 혈전증이나 감염은 전례에서 발생하지 않았다. Lachman 검사, pivot shift 검사 결과도 양군 간에 유의한 차이는 없었다(P=0.606, P=0.118). 결론: 급성 전방십자인대 손상 환자에서 조기 및 지연 재건군 모두에서 만족할만한 임상적 결과를 얻었다. 따라서 수상 후 1주 이내에 시행하는 조기 재건술도 좋은 치료 방법의 하나로 선택될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다.

상호텍스트성의 관점에서 본 <은판 위의 여인>(2016): <나는 좀비와 함께 걸었다>(1943)와의 비교연구

Cet article examine Le Secret de la chambre noire de Kiyoshi Kurosawa sous l’angle de l’intertextualité. L’étude comparative avec Vaudou de Jacques Tourneur a porté principalement sur la visualisation des fantômes, le point de depart en étant l’identification de facteurs visuels reliant les deux films : l’apparence identique entre l’humain et l’inhumain et la similarité dans la mise en scène de l’apparition des fantômes. Ainsi a été constaté le statut d’intertexte crucial de Vaudou. Cependant, les deux films se divisent en termes de dynamique du champ-hors champ, fondamentale au genre fantastique. Le Secret de la chambre noire positionne souvent les fantômes dans le champ, en proposant au personnage et au spectateur de confronter le surnatuel pour l’accepter soit comme partie de la réalité, soit comme fruit de l’imagination ; chez Tourneur, le surnatuel se cache toujours dans le hors champ. Quant à la thématique de l’amour avec le fantôme, précieuse pour Kurosawa, elle s’avère largement amplifiée et approfondie dans son film par rapport à Vaudou. La possibilité de l’amour durable avec celui (celle) décédé(e), question à la fois personnelle et existentielle, reste ouverte à la fin du film, la voix de l’auteur cédant son statut dominant aux autres voix. Cette étude constitue un exemple de plus montrant que l’intertextualité peut servir d’outil théorique pour une compréhension plus riche des oeuvres cinématographiques. 본 논문은 구로사와의 <은판 위의 여인>과 투르뇌르의 <나는 좀비와 함께 걸었다>를 상호텍스트성의 관점에서 분석한다. 유령의 연출, 특히 시각적 재현에서 양자의 동위소들을 확인함으로써 전자의 핵심적 상호텍스트로서의 위상을 확인했다. 그런데 두 영화는 인간과 유령의 외양에 차이를두지 않고 실제의 일부로서 초자연에 대한 믿음을 보여줌에도, 유령의 등장에 수반되는 외화면-내화면 역학에서는 대비된다. 구로사와는 유령을 최대한 내화면에 둔 채 인물 및 관객에게 초자연을 마주하고 그 정체성에대해 판단할 것을 제안한다. 이는 투르뇌르의 외화면 연출에 대한 심층적 이해 나아가 그것을 확대 , ·변형하는 고유의 형식이다. 더불어 유령과의 사랑이라는 테마는 <은판 위의 여인>에서 대폭 확대된다. 죽은 연인과의 변치 않는 사랑은 사적이면서도 실존적인 문제로, 엔딩에서 열린 채로 남는다. 이 글은 상호텍스트성이 영화작품에 대한 보다 풍부한 이해를 가능케하는 이론적 도구임을 확인시켜준다.

Interleukin-1 bioassay에 의한 IL-1β 활성저해는 bovine lactoferrin(BLF)의 경우 양이 증가함에 따라 IL-1β의 활성은 저해되었고 human lactoferrin(HLF)은 양의 증가에 상관없이 거의 저해영향이 없었다. EL-4. 6. 1 세포에 LF 수용체 결합 및 결합저해 실험은 fluorescence intensity의 증가 및 감소로 LF 수용체가 존재하는 것이 확인되었고 lactoferrin의 IL-1β수용체 결합저해는 일어나지 않았으므로 EL-4. 6. 1 세포에 IL-1β수용체와 LF 수용체가 각각 존재하는 것을 알 수 있었다. This study was carried out to investigate the inhibition activity of interleukin-1 on lactoferrin, The results obtained in these experiments were as follows; Interleukin-1β(IL-1β) inhibition assay measured by ³H-thymidine incorporation showed that bovine lactoferrin(BLF) was inhibitory to the activity of IL-1β in dose-dependent manner, whereas human lactoferrin(HLF) had no such effect. Increased fluorescence intensity of EL-4.6.1 cells reacted with FITC-conjugated LF suggests the presence of LF receptor on the EL-4.6.1 cells surface, and the receptor of LF was different with that of IL-1β.
