The increasing number of the North Korean refugees has become a major national concern in South Korea. Scholars have devoted attention to how the North Korean refugees live in South Korea. However, few studies examined what determines perception on North Korean refugees. By using “Unification Attitude Survey 2009” conducted by the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies at Seoul National University and the Gallup Korea, this article explore socio-economic factors that influence South Korean perception on the North Korean refugees. The results underscore the significance of individual economic condition, indicating that the worse socio-economic conditions are negatively associated to the perception on North Korean refugees in South Korea. In addition, the low levels of unemployment rates result in the fact that North Korean refugees need not have privilege for employment. 매년 2,000여 명 이상의 새터민들이 남한에 유입되어 하나의 사회적 집단을 형성하였다. 문제는 새터민이 우리사회에 정착하기 위한 재정적 부담이 새터민 인식에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것이다. 그리고 부정적 시각은 새터민과의 통합에 장애물로 작용할 수 있다. 이런 면에서 현실적인 측면에서 사회경제적인 조건이 어떻게 새터민 인식에 영향을 주는지 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 새터민에 대한 인식에 영향을 미치는 사회경제적 요인을 찾는 연구는 많지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 '사회경제적 요인이 새터민에 대한 인식에 어떻게 영향을 주는가?' 대한 대답을 시도하려 한다. <통일의식조사 2012> 분석결과, 사회경제적 요인이 새터민에 대한 인식에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. '전박적인 경제만족도'가 높을수록 새터민을 더 지원해야 한다고 나타났다. 그리고 '부모세대와 생활만족도를 비교'하여 낮을수록 새터민 때문에 취업이 곤란하다고 나타났다. 마지막으로 '실업문제가 심각하다'고 느낄수록 새터민도 조직에서 동일한 경쟁을 해야 한다고 보았다. 본 논문은 우리나라 사람들이 감상적인 태도로 새터민을 바라보고 있지 않다는 것을 밝혀냈다. 이런 측면에서 독일의 동등대우원칙과 부담조정원칙을 참고할 필요가 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 직무 만족과 이직 의도 간의 구조적 관계에서 세 가지 유형의 조 직 몰입(정서적, 지속적, 규범적 몰입)의 매개 효과를 조사하는 데 있다. 문헌 분석을 통해 직무 만족, 조직 몰입, 이직 의도 간의 구조적 관계를 정립했다. 한국의 4 개의 생산 공장에서 근무하는 336 명의 사무직 직원으로부터 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과, 정서적 몰입은 직무 만족과 이직 의도를 완전 매개하지만 지속적 몰입과 규범적 몰입 은 매개효과가 없었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 HRD 관점에서 학문적, 실천적 시사 점에 대해 논의했다. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the mediating effects of three types of organizational commitment (affective, continuance, and normative) on the structural relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intentions. The structural relationship between job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention was established through literature review. Data was collected from 336 office employees at four production plants located in South Korea. The results of the data analysis indicate that affective commitment has a full mediating effect on the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intentions, whereas continuance and normative commitment do not. Drawing on these results, this study suggests academic and practical implications for researchers and practitioners.

Coupled Thermal-Fluid-Mechanics Analysis of Twin Roll Casting of A7075 Aluminum Alloy

Better understanding of temperature distribution and roll separation force during twin roll casting of aluminumalloys is critical to successfully fabricate good quality of aluminum strips. Therefore, the simulation techniques arewidely applied to understand the twin roll casting process in a comprehensive way and to reduce the experimentaltime and cost of trial and error. However, most of the conventional approaches are considered thermally coupledflow, or thermally coupled mechanical behaviors. In this study, a fully coupled thermal-fluid-mechanical analysisof twin roll casting of A7075 aluminum strips was carried out using the finite element method. Temperature profile,liquid fraction and metal flow of aluminum strips with different thickness were predicted. Roll separationforce and roll temperatures were experimentally obtained from a pilot-scale twin roll caster, and those results werecompared with model predictions. Coupling the fluid of the liquid melt to the thermal and mechanical modelingreasonably predicted roll temperature distribution and roll separation force during twin roll casting.

불확실한 상황에서 의사결정: 코로나19 위기 속의 교육부 장관 의사결정을 중심으로

행정 각 부의 장관의 의사결정은 좁게는 부처의 조직성과, 넓게는 시민들의 삶에 큰 영향을 미친다. 세계를 강타한 코로나바이러스감염증-19 사태는 대한민국 교육을 책임지고 있는 교육부 장관에게 개학과 등교시점에 대해서 전례 없는 선택을 할 수밖에 없게 했다. 교육부 장관은 언제, 어디서, 얼마나 많은 감염자가 나올지 모르는 불확실한 상황에서 의사결정을 하게 되었다. 앞으로 상황이 어떻게 전개될지 확률도 모르는 불확실성하에서의 의사결정기준으로 크게 최대최대기준, 최대최소기준, 최소최대후회기준, 후르비쯔 기준 그리고 라플라스기준이 있다. 본 연구는 2020년에 있었던 교육부 장관의 큰 의사결정을 위의 다섯 가지 기준에 입각해서 분석할 것이다. 그 분석결과를 토대로 불확실한 상황에서의 합리적인 리더의 의사결정에 대해 논의할 것이다. COVID-19 created the unprecedented crisis for the ministry of education. The minister of education should make a tough choice against an uncertainty in which nobody can predict what will happen in the future. In this circumstance, the minister of education has largely four choices to make a decision: Regular in-classroom, remote-learning, shutdown, and partial opening(a combination of learning at home and attending school). At first, the ministry of education chose the shutdown four times. After the severity of COVID-19 subdued, she chose partial in-person education. This article analyzes the decision of the minister of education by 5 criteria: Maximax, Maximin, Laplace, Hutwiz, and Minimax regret criterion.
