      • TOMO 치료 시 체온 유지를 위한 물질 사용에 따른 조직 내 선량 변화 평가

        Purpose: TOMO therapy treatment for a relatively long run Beam time and temperature-sensitive detector, such as CT clinics in optimal temperature ($20~21^{\circ}$) to maintain a constant temperature in addition to its own Chamber Cooling system is activating. TOMO This clinic has been reduced in the patients' body temperature to keep the sheets and covers over the treated area. Therefore, these materials for any changes in the organization gives the dose were analyzed. Materials and Methods: To compare changes in the organization Dose Phantom cheese (Cheese Phantom) were used, CT-simulation taking the center point of the cheese phantom PTV (Planning Target Volume, treatment planning target volume) by setting Daily dose 200 cGy, 3 meetings planned treatment. PTV, PTV +7 cm, PTV +14 cm, the total count points on the phantom using the Ion chamber cover without any substance to measure the dose, and one of the most commonly used treatment, including the frequently used four kinds of bedding materials (febric 0.8 mm, gown 1.4 mm, rug, 3.3 mm, blanket 13.7 mm) and covered with a phantom and the dose measured at the same location were analyzed 3 times each. Results: PTV, PTV +7 cm, PTV +14 cm from the point of any substance measured in the state are covered with four kinds of materials (fabric, gown, rug, blanket) was measured in the covered states and compares their results, PTV respectively -0.17%, -0.44%, -0.53% and -0.9% change, PTV +7 cm, respectively -0.04%, +0.07%, +0.06%, +0.07%, were changed, PTV +14 cm, respectively 0%, -0.06%, -0.02%, +0.6%, respectively. Conclusion: These results TOMO treatment to patients to maintain their body mass by using PTV thickness of the material decreased in proportion to. PTV +7 cm, but showed slight changes in the point, PTV +14 cm at the point of the dose was increased a little. Sejijeom all the difference in treatment tolerance ${\pm}3%$ range, this is confirmed in the coming treatment will not affect the larger should be considered.

        후방연장 국소의치에서 지대치의 splinting에 따른 치주조직의 응력 변화에 관한 유한요소법적 연구

        Splint therapy, the immobilization of teeth, has been done for patient's masticatory comforts and an adjunctive aid in periodontal therapy. Mandibular premolars are frequently splinted in many distal extension removable partial denture cases. But splinting is an extensive restoration that may not be conservative of tooth structure and may prove to be quite costly to the patient. The two dimensional finite element analysis method was used to determine the magnitude and mode of distribution of the stresses of the periodontal ligament and supporting alveolar bone when abutments with different periodontal supports were splinted and distal-extension removable partial denture was subjected to different loading schemes. The results were as follows : 1. When abutments were splinted, stresses moved from apico-distal to apico-mesial of terminal abutment on a vertical force and from disto-alveolar crest to apex on a distally directed force. But stresses were generally diminished on a mesially directed force. 2. As vertical bone loss was proceeding, most of stresses were transmitted to residual ridge and the rest of stresses were concentrated on apex of distal abutment. But these apical stresses were minimized when abutments were splinted. 3. As mesially inclined bone loss was proceeding, it seemed to be dangerous that many stresses were concentrated on the distal alveolar crest, especially in the distally directed load case. Abutments splinting decreased the alveolar crestal stresses but not enough. 4. For all vertical stresses were effectively decreased on splinting, stresses were concentrated as highly on apico-mesial area of distal abutment in distally directed load cases as the distal inclination of bone level was severe. 5. The directions and magnitudes of abutment movements were decreased with teeth splinting.

        슴새(Calonectris leucomelas)의 포란행동이 일별 몸무게 변화에 미치는 영향

        포란 기간 동안에 대양성 바다새들은 기아생태로 포란함으로써 커다란 몸무게 변화를 겪는다. 포란 동안에 몸무게의 심각한 변화를 겪는 슴새목 조류에서, 몸무게 조절은 포란 기간 동안에 그들의 포란 행동을 결정하는 중요한 요소로 작용할 것이다. 이 연구는 2013년 6월부터 8월까지 제주특별자치도 제주시 추자면에 위치하고 있는 무인도서인 사수도에서 번식하는 슴새를 대상으로, 포란 기간 동안 개체의 몸 크기, 몸 상태 그리고 포란 행동이 그들의 몸무게 조절에 어떠한 영향을 주는 지를 연구하였다. 연구결과를 보면, 포란하는 슴새 개체의 일별 몸무게 감소량은 그들의 몸 크기나 몸 상태와 관계가 없었으나, 둥지 내에서 포란 시도 횟수가 증가함에 따라 일별 몸무게 감소량도 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, 몸 크기가 큰 개체일수록 일별 포란 시도를 많이 하는 경향을 보이고 있었다. 결과적으로 포란하는 개체의 몸 크기와 몸 상태는 그들의 일별 몸무게 감소와 관계가 없었지만, 일별 몸무게 감소량에 영향을 주고 있는 포란 시도 횟수는 그들의 몸 크기에 따라 조절되고 있었다. 따라서 포란 기간 동안에 번식 개체들의 몸 크기는 그들의 포란 행동을 결정하는 중요한 요소 중에 하나로 작용하고 있다. During incubation, pelagic seabirds undergo large variations in their body mass as a result of concomitant fasting. In Procellariifomes undergoing important changes in body mass through the incubation, body mass regulation could be an important factor in behavioural decisions for changing activities during the incubation. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of individuals` quality and incubation behaviour on their body mass regulation in Streaked Shearwaters Calonectris leucomelas breeding at Sasudo Island, in Jeju, South Korea during incubation period, June to August in 2013. In our results, we found that there was no relationship between the daily body mass loss and body size or condition of Streaked Shearwaters. However, the daily body mass loss increased significantly as the incubation bout increased. Moreover, the daily incubation bout was positively related to their body size. Consequently, although breeders` qualities were not related to their daily body mass loss during the incubation, the incubation behaviour affecting their daily body mass loss was regulated by their body size. Therefore, the body size of Streaked Shearwater breeders is one of important factors in their decisions for the incubation behaviour.

        한국에서 번식기 흰날개해오라기(Ardeola bacchus)의 분포 및 번식에 관한 보고

        본 연구는 국내에서 집단번식하는 백로류 중 구체적인 번식 현황 정보가 부족한 흰날개해오라기 (Ardeola bacchus)의 번식지 분포와 번식 과정에 대해 기록하였다. 2018년부터 2019년까지 백로류 집단번식지 조사에서 흰날개해오라기 번식은 8개 번식지에서 17개의 둥지가 확인되었다. 흰날개해오라기의 번식이 확인된 번식지는 주변에 논을 비롯한 습지가 비교적 넓게 분포하며, 번식지는 수목 연령이 30년 이상, 흉고직경은 18cm 이상의 수관층 밀도가 높은 침엽수와 활엽수로 구성되어 있었다. 2020년에 발견한 1개 둥지의 번식과정 확인 결과, 한배산란수는 4개이며, 6월 11일에 마지막 4번째의 알을 산란하였고, 7월 1-4일에 새끼 4개체가 모두 부화하였다. 이후 7월 30일에 새끼 4개체가 모두 이소하였다. 본 연구를 통해 흰날개해오라기의 전국적인 번식지 분포와 인천 번식지에서 번식과정을 확인함으로써 앞으로 흰날개해오라기의 다양한 연구의 기초 자료로써 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Among colonial breeding egrets, little is known regarding the ecology of the Chinese Pond Heron (Ardeola bacchus) in Korea. Therefore, in the present study, we recorded the distribution and breeding of this heron species. From 2018 to 2019, 17 nests of the Chinese Pond Heron were identified in 8 breeding colonies. The breeding colonies were distributed in paddy fields and wetlands, with trees are over 30 years of age and diameter at breast height of >18 cm, dominated by dense conifers and broad-leaved species. In one nest found in 2020, the clutch size was 4, and the laying date of the last egg was June 11. All eggs hatched between July 1 and 4, and all chicks were successfully fledged on July 30.

      • Usefulness of Applying 80 kV Single Energy Abdominal Computed Tomography to Patients under BMI 25

        단일에너지 복부CT에서 80 kV 저관전압 사용을 통한 선량감소 효과와 이중에너지 복부CT와 같이 조영제량 감소 효과를 얻고자 하였다. 단일에너지 80 kV;단일에너지 100 kV;90 kV와 주석필터적용된 150 kV의 이중에너지 복부CT 세 그룹으로 나누고;단일에너지 80 kV 검사 시 이중에너지 복부CT 검사와 동일하게 조영제 양과 주입속도를 감소시켜서 적용하였고 각 그룹별 50건의 영상을 정량적;정성적 평가를 통해 비교하였다. 단일에너지 80 kV 영상에서 높은 신호대 잡음비를 나타내었고 대조도 잡음비는 세 그룹이 유의한 차이가 없었다.(p>0.05) 방사선량의 감소효과는 기존의 단일에너지 100 kV영상과 비교하였을 때는 미미하였으나 이중에너지 영상과 비교 시 선량감소의 효과가 있었다. 단일에너지 복부CT 검사 시 BMI 25이하의 환자에게 80 kV를 적용하면 이중에너지 복부CT와 비슷한 영상을 획득할 수 있고 조영제 감소를 통한 조영제 부작용 발생 확률을 낮출 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. It is intended to measure the effect of dose and contrast media reduction by using 80 kV in a single-energy abdominal CT like a dual-energy abdominal CT. It is divided into three groups of 80 kV of single energy CT (SECT);100 kV of SECT;90 kV and 150 kV with tin filter of dual energy CT (DECT);and reduced contrast volume and injection speed applied with 80 kV SECT like a DECT. Also;quantitative and qualitative evaluation on 50 images of each group has been conducted for comparison. Signal-to-noise ratio in a 80 kV SECT is higher than other groups. However;contrast-to-noise ratio was not significantly different among the three groups (p>0.05). Reduction of radiation dose when using 80 kV SECT was identified by comparison with DECT. However;the radiation dose was almost similar compared to the 100 kV SECT. From this study;possibility of reducing contrast media and radiation dose by applying 80 kV SECT to patients under BMI 25 can be proposed.
