        NLN Jeffries 시뮬레이션 이론의 분석 및 평가

        Purpose: The National League for Nursing/Jeffries Simulation Theory (NLN/JST) is a middle-range theory widely used in nursing simulation education. Although the NLN/JST was revised in 2015, there is still no formal critique of the theory. The purpose of this study is to present a critique of the NLN/JST. Method: This study comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the theory using Fawcett and DeSanto-Madeya’s (2013) framework. Results: The theory demonstrates positive social and theoretical significance, testability, and empirical and pragmatic adequacy. Nevertheless, semantic clarity and internal consistency need to be made clearer. Conclusion: The NLN/JST is a suitable framework for nursing simulation education. The theory considers not only participants but also patients and systems as outcomes of simulation education, and is able to incorporate situation-specific backgrounds. That said, it is still necessary to develop a systematic nursing curriculum for clinical reasoning competence of both nursing students and nurses, given the wide range of clinical situations they may encounter.

        3단 덕트 시스템에서 화염전달함수가 연소불안정 모델링 결과에 미치는 영향

        In this paper, we used Helmholtz solver based on 3D finite element method to quantitatively analyze the effects of change of gain, time delay and time delay spread, which are the main variables of flame transfer function, on combustion instability in gas turbine combustor. The effects of the variable of flame transfer function on the frequency and growth rate, which are the main results of combustion instability, were analyzed by applying the conventional heat release fluctuation model and modified one considering the time spread. The analysis results showed that the change of gain and time delay in the same resonance mode affected the frequency of the given resonance modes as well as growth rate of the feedback instability, however, the effect of time delay spread was not relatively remarkable, compared with the dominant effect of time delay.

        방어기제의 평가와 분류

        A defense mechanism is an automatic psychological process that protects an individual from anxiety and internal or external risks or stressors. Defense mechanisms work largely in unconscious states and are associated with emotional conflicts and responses to internal and external stress. Applying specific patterns of defense would reflect the ego function level or maturation of each individual. Hence evaluation of defense mechanisms can offer valuable information for the psychodynamic understanding of patients. Authors have introduced the history of concepts of defense mechanisms, classification of defense, and various kinds of evaluation methods. These aspects can be classified into direct or indirect methods. Direct examinations comprise a direct evaluation by clinicians such as the Vaillant Defense Mechanism Rating Scale and a self-report method such as the Defense Style Questionnaire. Indirect examinations comprise a projective test such as the Rorschach test and objective tests such as the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory.

        Verbal Inflections in the Aspectual Field

        This paper investigates the verbal inflections in the aspectual field in the clause. Under Chomsky’s lexicalist-minimalist account, the tense and agreement verbal inflection is believed to be syntactically autonomous. In a similar vein, other verbal inflections like aspectual and passive forms are also treated as independent functional head. In the case of complex auxiliary constructions, the verbal inflection of auxiliary verbs consistently determines their distribution and position in the varied constructions including existential constructions, VP ellipsis, and clauses with floating quantifiers or a certain class of adverbs. Usually, a specific type of auxiliary verb does not condition its distribution and position. All the nonfinite forms of auxiliary verbs do not behave in a uniform manner. More division of the aspectual field may be a viable option on the basis of irrefutable differences between the -en form been and the -ing form being in their distribution in relation to adverbs and the possibility of ellipsis.

        반복적 자해의 정신역동적 이해

        Repetitive self-mutilation or non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) refers to the intentional destruction of one’s own body tissue without suicidal intent and for purposes not socially sanctioned. Common examples include cutting, scratching, and hitting. Although NSSI generally has been considered a characteristic symptom of borderline personality disorder, its onset and prevalence typically occur in mid-adolescence, whereas the typical onset of borderline personality disorder is in early adulthood. Therefore, NSSI should be considered separately from borderline personality, but also from a psychodynamic perspective. From the classical psychoanalytic viewpoint, self-mutilation is associated with the failure to control aggressive drives. In ego psychology, self-mutilation is seen as an attempt of the fragile ego to re-establish boundaries with the external environment and avoid being overcome with uncontrollable emotions. In object-relation theory, it is seen as an effort to reconstruct unclear boundaries between ego and object or ego and reality by cutting the skin-the fundamental separation between them. Self-mutilation- can interfere with the psychotherapy by increasing or decreasing transference or causing strong countertransference. The therapist might experience helplessness or anger at repetitive self-mutilations and, with an adolescent patient, might be conflicted about telling the facts to parents or maintaining the patient’s confidentiality. In conclusion, consideration of various psychodynamic aspects is important in understanding and treating patients with NSSI.

        한국 간호대학생의 학습경험에 대한 통합적 문헌고찰: 질적연구를 중심으로

        Purpose: In the Fourth Industrial Revolution, nursing education will change in a different way than before. The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristics of qualitative research on learning experiences for nursing students, and to suggest directions for nursing education geared to the needs of the future. Methods: An integrative review method was used. Based on Whittemore & Knafl’s approach, five steps were applied. Results: Eleven papers met the selection criteria and had above average ratings in quality appraisals. Three characteristics related to the learning experiences of nursing students were derived: (1) overcoming difficulties in the learning process and concentrating on problem-solving, (2) improving self-efficacy through experiencing achievement in the learning process, (3) establishing nursing professionalism, (4) identifying the importance of self-directed and self-reflected learning, and (5) developing teamwork. Conclusion: This review found that various learning experiences were conducted for practical experience and learner-oriented learning. Nursing students overcame difficulties to achieve their learning outcomes, and developed their professionalism. Further study is required to comprehensively explore research including other countries, and the experiences of instructors. 임상 간호 현장은 더욱 복잡하고 다양해지고 있으며, 간호 대상자들의 요구가 점점 다양해지고 있다. 간호대학에서는 간호대학생에게 상황과 맥락을 이해하여 임상추론을 할 수 있는 지식, 기술 및 태도를 갖출 수 있는 교육을 제공해야 한다. 통합적 문헌고찰을 실시한 결구 본 연구에서, 실제적 경험과 학습자 중심 학습을 목적으로 다양한 학습경험이 이루어졌다. 학습경험은 시뮬레이션, PBL, TBL, 플립러닝 등 구성주의 학습이론에 기반한 교육이 많았다. 본 연구를 통해 간호대학생은 학습경험을 통해 성장하였고, 이와 관련하여 세 가지 특성이 도출되었다. 첫째, 학습과정 중 어려움이 있더라도 극복하고, 주어진 문제를 해결하기 위해 집중하였다. 둘째, 학습과정 중의 성취경험을 통해 자기효능감이 향상되었고, 자기주도적 학습을 경험하였다. 셋째, 간호의 메타패러다임 중 하나인 인간을 총체적으로 이해할 수 있었으며, 이를 통해 바람직한 전문직관을 형성할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 다음의 제언을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 본 연구는 한국 간호대학생의 학습경험만을 파악하였으므로, 국외 간호대학생의 학습경험까지 포괄적으로 살펴볼 필요가 있을 것이다. 둘째, 다양한 교육매체를 활용한 교육에 대한 관심이 증가하고 활용되고 있으므로 더 많은 교수학습방법에 대한 간호대학생의 학습경험을 탐구하는 연구를 제언한다. 마지막으로, 새로운 교육방법론을 적용한 교수자들의 경험도 탐구함으로써, 수업 설계 시 고려해야 할 점에 대해 폭넓게 이해하는데 도움이 되리라 사료된다.

        학교 교육의 공공성: 아렌트의 관점

        학교 교육이 공공성을 지녀야 한다는 것에는 모두가 동의하지만, 정작 학교 교육의 공공성이 어떠한 것인지에 대해서는 의견이 분분하다. 이에 공공성이라는 기조 아래 학교는 학교의 성격에 어울리지 않는 수많은 요구들로 몸살을 앓거나, 서로 상충하는 주장들로 인해 혼란을 겪고 있다. 이러한 실정은 일정부분 공공성이라는 개념 자체가 가지는 모호함에서 비롯된 것이지만, 우리 사회에서 공공성이라는 말이 빈번하게 사용되고 있는 만큼, 말 자체의 가치가 퇴색되는 것을 방지하기 위해서라도 공공성이 과연 무엇인가에 대한 논의는 더욱 활성화될 필요가 있다. 더욱이 학교라는 장소나 교육이라는 활동이 가지는 특수성을 고려해 볼 때, 공공성에 대한 일반적이거나 상식적인 요구가 학교 교육에 무리한 것이 될 수 있다는 점 또한 분명히 고려해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현대 사회에서 공공성에 대한 논의를 확장시켜온 학자인 듀이와 하버마스, 아렌트의 공공성에 대한 생각을 살펴보고자 한다. 연구자가 보기에 이 세 학자는 모두 공공성의 민주적 성격을 강조하고 있다는 점에서 공통점을 가지지만, ‘결과의 사회적 유용성으로서의 공공성’, ‘소통의 합리성으로서의 공공성’, 그리고 ‘인간적 삶의 조건으로서의 공공성’과 같이 공공성에 대해 서로 다른 생각을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 특히 공공성을 인간의 말과 행위에 대한 하나의 ‘특징’이 아닌 ‘조건’으로 인식하는 아렌트의 관점에 입각했을 때 우리가 공공성, 특히 학교 교육의 공공성에 대한 더욱 풍성한 사유를 할 수 있을 것임을 주장하고 있다. There is no doubt that school education should have a public nature. but there is no consensus on what ‘the public school education is. Accordingly, on the basis of the publicness, schools are confronting numerous demands that do not fit the nature of the school, or are being confused by conflicting claims. This is partly due to the confusion of the concept of ‘public’ itself. However, as the word ‘public’ is commonly used, the nature of ‘public’ in school education should be discussed. It should also consider that the general and unagreed ideas and demand about the public role of schools could lower the value of public itself and dilute the nature of school education. Therefore, this study explores the public nature of school education focusing on the view from Dewey, Habermas, and Arendt, who have expanded the discussion of democratic public nature of schools. Each of these scholars have different ideas about the public, such as 'the public as a social utility of results,' 'the public as rationality of communication,' and 'the public as a condition of human life.' Through exploration, this paper highlights the concept of the public as a condition rather than a characteristic of human actions based on Arendt’s perspectives, which could lead to fruitful discussions on the public nature of the school education.
