Additive manufacturing by electron beam melting is an affordable process for fabricating near net shaped parts of titanium and its alloys. 3D additive-manufactured parts have various kinds of voids, lack of fusion, etc., and they may affect crack initiation and propagation. Post process is necessary to eliminate or minimize these defects. Hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is the main method, which is expensive. The objective of this paper is to achieve an optimum and simple post heat treatment process without the HIP process. Various post heat treatments are conducted for the 3D-printed Ti-6Al-4V specimen below and above the beta transus temperature ($996^{\circ}C$). The as-fabricated EBM Ti-6Al-4V alloy has an ${\alpha}^{\prime}$-martensite structure and transforms into the ${\alpha}+{\beta}$ duplex phase during the post heat treatment. The fatigue strength of the as-fabricated specimen is 400 MPa. The post heat treatment at $1000^{\circ}C/30min/AC$ increases the fatigue strength to 420 MPa. By post heat treatment, the interior pore size and the pore volume fraction are reduced and this can increase the fatigue limit.

This study is intended to formulate the issues through the status analysis and image evaluation for each street on the basis of colors for the outdoor advertisements for part of street side in the oldest downtown for its construction year. Analysing the business type of the street side, it displays the identity of the fashion business area and the color status shown on the outdoor advertisement did not consider the harmony on the other business type and building improvements that it displays chaotic street views in overall. Status of color for the outdoor advertisement compared and analyzed for each street-side to be analyzed with high color contrast with the building structure and outdoor advertisements than the Street B side where there are many businesses of fashion sundries and fashion clothes to form more complicated street scenery visually for the Street A side. The color combination principle of building structure and outdoor advertisement was shown to be the factor for the contrasting unity and diversity. In order not to stimulate this visual confusion, the colors of outdoor advertisement has to be applied on the basis of the color guideline based on the color combination principle of outdoor advertisement and building structure to have the aesthetic harmony overall. As a result of analysis using the KJ method, the present image of the old downtown area was shown with the adjective vocabularies of 「complicated」, 「rout-dated」, 「chaotic」, 「disorganized」, 「dirty」,「suffocating」 and 「unilateral」 and its image to strive for would be in a total of 6 adjective vocabularies of 「well-arranged」, 「young」, 「dynamic」, 「sophisticated」, 「personable」 and 「neat」 and it has presented the basic foundation of color guideline of outdoor advertisement fit for its image.
일개 상급종합병원 의료인의 감염관리 지침 준수 의도 영향요인: 계획된 행위이론을 중심으로

Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors affecting physicians and nurses’ intention to comply with healthcare-associated infection control guidelines, based on the theory of planned behavior. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional, descriptive survey. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from 169 doctors and nurses at a tertiary hospital. Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the factors influencing intention to comply with healthcare-associated infection control guidelines. Results: The mean score of intention to comply with infection control guidelines was 17.17±2.60 points (possible range 3-21 points). The intention to comply with infection control guidelines was positively associated with subjective norms and perceived behavioral control over compliance with healthcare-associated infection control guidelines. In the multiple regression analysis, perceived behavioral control was the only significant predictor of intention to comply with healthcare-associated infection control guidelines. Conclusion: In order to encourage doctors and nurses to comply with infection control guidelines, it is necessary to provide resources, enhance the work environment, and utilize strategies to increase perceived behavioral control over compliance with infection control guidelines.
도심가로변의 옥외광고물 정비 전ㆍ후 현황분석 및 이미지 평가

The purpose of this study is to formulate the issues through the status analysis and image evaluation by comparing before and after the maintenance works with the focus on the colors of outdoor advertisements and buildings for the improvement of street environment. As a result of analyzing the color before and after the maintenance works of the outdoor advertisement, there was no noticeable change in luminosity and chroma and it was also analyzed that various colors in high chroma were still dominant in the street scenery. The policy to maintain the outdoor advertisements has the positive showing for improvement effect on street environment but negative image still remains for there still was no sufficient improvement made. The results of the image analysis using the KJ method indicated that the images prior to the maintenance were distracted, dirty, disorderly, and disharmonious. Problems noted were improper size, high chroma, and diverse colors in the outdoor advertisements, and for improvement plan, the considerations included restriction of location and size of the outdoor advertisements, color control with lower chroma, and color harmony in surrounding buildings. The analysis of the images after the maintenance work showed that there still was high visual pollution from the high chroma as in the pre-maintenance condition, and it revealed the problems in disharmony of outdoor advertisements and buildings and confusion from overloaded colors, and the analysis also showed that sufficient improvement has yet to be made.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine nurses’ sexual health care attitude and practice while caring for cancer patients. Methods: Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from 236 nurses caring for patients with cancer from June 30, 2014 to July 6, 2014 at a University Hospital in Daegu, Korea. Results: The mean score for sexual health care attitude of nurses caring for patients with cancer was 27.75±6.45 of a possible range 17 to 51 and the mean score for a sexual health care practice of nurses was 3.67±3.30 of a possible range 0 to 21. The scores of a sexual health care attitude and practice were significantly different by age, education, department, experience in gynecology or urology departments, and position. Sexual health care attitude and practice had a significantly positive correlation (r=.16, p=.015). Conclusion: The nurses caring for patients with cancer recognize the importance of sexual health care, but their sexual health care practice rate was very low. Therefore specific and differentiated nurse education programs designed to increase sexual health care practice are required for young nurses and staff nurses that are not practicing sexual health care often.

Selective laser melting (SLM) is an additive manufacturing process by melting metallic powders and stacking into layers, and can product complex shapes or near-net-shape (NNS) that are difficult to product by conventional processes. Also, SLM process is able to raise the efficiency of production by creating a streamlined manufacturing process. For manufacturing in SLM process using Ti-6Al-4V powder, analysis of microstructural evolution and evaluation of mechanical properties are essential because of rapid melting and solidification process of powders according to high laser power and rapid scan speed. In addition, it requires a post-processing because the soundness and mechanical properties are degraded by defects such as pore, un-melted powder, lack-of-fusion, etc. In this study, hot isostatic press (HIP) was conducted as a post-processing on SLM-printed Ti- 6Al-4V alloy. Microstructure of post-processed Ti-6Al-4V alloy was compared to as-built Ti-6Al-4V, and the evolution of quasi-static (Vickers hardness, room temperature tensile characteristic) and dynamic (high-cycle fatigue characteristic) mechanical properties were analyzed.
