Computer-based learning with the access to World Wide Web has become a fundamental base for adopting beneficial education. It provides significant facilities such as animation and interactive processes that are not possible with textbooks. Web/Internet-enabled applications which is fully controlled and monitored from remote locations are extensively used by a number of Universities, national laboratories and companies for different kinds of applications all over the world. Continuous advances in computers and electronics coupled with drooping prices of hardware have made Web/Internet-based technologies less costly than before, particularly for educational organizations. Thus, it is more affordable to invest in these technologies that are essential for both expanding education over Web and further improving and advancing such technologies ].the application of remote virtual instruments will be demonstrated in this context along with experiments that can be adopted to be educational experimental lab for Engineering Education students.

본 논문에서는 에너지 법칙(energy principle)에 기초한 AE RMS값과 절삭 파 라미터들 사이의 해석적인 관계를 구하기 위하여 Lee와 Shaffer의 미끄름선장 영역을 변형되는 부피로 가정하여 이론적인 식을 제시하였으며 Al의 2차원 절삭시험을 통하여 이 관계가 절삭과정의 감시에 유용하리라는 것을 확인하였다. This study reviewed the theory of acoustic emission applying generation of acoustic emission in metal cutting and proposed a relationship between fundamental cutting parameters and the root mean square (RMS) voltage of the acoustic emission on the basis of the mechanics of the orthogonal cutting operation. Experimental results are presented for 6063-T5 Auminum and the validity of this relationship is evaluated by a series of tests varying cutting speed, feed rate and rake angle in orthogonal cutting. The original formula derived theoretically has been modified in order to utilize independent of fundamental cutting parameters. RMS voltage of acoustic emission depends on cutting speed and strain rate, but it is not much affected by feed rate. Applying lubricant, the drop of RMS level has been observed.

Semiconductor industry has been dramatically developed with the information era of 21C, and the trend now is to consider that the technology of management system of the computer utility that has a high efficiency is important. This study investigated the intelligent decision system for residual gas purge process to effectively remove the residual gas in the tube after replacing the cylinder that is used for the gas cabinet or BSGS(Bulk Specialty Gas Supply System) of the semiconductor process. It was suggest from this study that it is possible to decide the type, frequency and volume of purge gas using various toxic gases which is necessary for each process. Also, this result will be utilized for operating the system, increasing the efficiency of management and saving energy.

This paper introduces computer based practice for engineering education through using NI-ELVIS and virtual instruments of LabVIEW as application software. Different laboratory experiments Labs will be presented as convenient paradigms of adopting computer based practice for the efficacy of engineering education. Remote labs as web/internet or network-enabled controlled by remote server computer have been extensively used by a number of universities, national laboratories and companies for different kind of application around the globe. Overtime, as technology proceed in its progress, more developed techniques are being used particularly in the field of engineering education.
스마트팩토리 구축을 위한 PLC기반의 필드버스 교육 장비 및 교육과정 개발

Recently, due to Industry 4.0, there is a great interest in smart factory for productivity improvement and customer satisfaction in manufacturing industry, and construction is also actively pursued by government support. In particular, data integration and fieldbus communication technology to build an efficient production system are essential. Fieldbus is an open control system that is not tied to a specific vendor system and has various advantages such as compatibility with other products, accuracy of data transmission, and remote diagnosis. However, there are no educational equipment for training field buses, training courses and examples for practical training, and there are many limitations in improving the practical skills needed for building smart factories in the industrial field. Therefore, this study develops PLC based fieldbus education equipment and training course based on previous research results that selected PLC and communication technology suitable for domestic industry field for practical fieldbus training and develops the training program of Ethernet IP, Profibus DP, Modbus, CC -Link, and DeviceNet. In addition, it is confirmed that the control and remote diagnosis of distributed field devices are possible by data collection and monitoring.
