Feature vectors of speech are generally extracted from whole frequency domain. The inherent character of a speaker is located in the low band or high band frequency. However, if the speech is corrupted by narrowband noise with concentrated energy, speaker verification performance is reduced as the individual characteristic is removed. In this paper, we propose a PCA Covariance Model based on the multiband to extract the robust feature vectors against the narrowband noise. First, we divide the overall frequency band into several subbands. Second, the correlation of feature vectors extracted independently from each subband is removed by PCA. The distance obtained from each subband has different distribution. To normalize against the different distribution, we moved the value into the normalized distribution through the mapping function. Finally, the represented value applying the weighting function is used for speaker verification. In the experiments, the proposed method shows better performance of the speaker verification and reduces the computation.

This study was carried out to investigate the antioxidant activity and chemical composition of yuzu essential oil extracted by hydrodistillation method comparing with those of orange oil. Antioxidant activities of the oils were determined by two different systems, 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) scavenging ability and inhibition of aldehyde oxidation. Scavenging activities of the yuzu and orange oils for the DPPH free radical were approximately 88% and 37% at the concentration of 10 ㎎/mL, respectively. Limonene, the main component of both oils, showed DPPH scavenging activity of 42% at the same concentration. Yuzu oil inhibited the hexanal oxidation by over 85% at a concentration of 10 mg/mL during 40 days incubation, however, orange oil showed 63% inhibition under the same conditions. By Gas chromatography/Mass spectrometry, d-limonene(approximate 75%), γ-terpinene(12.0%), linalool(2.0%), β-myrcene(1.9%), and α-pinene(1.7%) were analyzed as the major components of the yuzu oil, whereas limonene(73%), β- myrcene(9.3%), α-pinene(2.8%), linalool(2.2%) and n-decanal(1.3%) were the predominant constituents in orange oil. Most interestingly, γ-terpinene, the second major component of yuzu oil was not detected in orange oil. γ-Terpinene was found to have the highest activity for DPPH scavenging among the constituents of both oils which explained the higher antioxidant activity of yuzu oil than orange oil. These results suggest that yuzu essential oil can be used as a strong antioxidant agent for aromatherapy and cosmetic application.

In a situation where the development of various treatments is urgently needed to overcome the global outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the sequential emergence of new variant viruses, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) made tremendous efforts to promptly supply the safe and effective therapeutics manufactured by local and global companies through accelerated marketing authorization or emergency use approvals. To date, seven products (including overlapped) have received marketing authorization or emergency use approvals from MFDS, and their indicated patient group according to the severity, efficacy, and safety information are different by each products. Therefore, this study is to compare the product information and the major clinical outcomes obtained from clinical studies of COVID-19 treatments authorized or approved for emergency use in Korea and to introduce the MFDS’s efforts for establishment of accelerated approval system for COVID-19 treatment and development of relevant guidelines. It is hoped that this study will serve as a reference for the latecomers who is preparing the development of therapeutics for emerging infectious diseases in the future.
딥러닝 회귀 모델 개발을 위한 센서 데이터 윈도우 사이즈 최적화 기법

센서 데이터의 중요성이 커지면서 센서 데이터 처리 연구의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 센서 데이터 기반의 딥러닝 모델 개발 시, 센서 데이터 단일 값에 의한 출력이 아닌 시계열적인 특성을 반영하여 연속적인 데이터 간의 연관성을 파악할 수 있는 슬라이딩 윈도우 기법을 통해 효율적으로 데이터를 분석하고 처리할 수 있다. 하지만, 기존의 방법들은 학습 성능(학습 시간 및 모델 성능)에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 기준 없이 입력 데이터의 윈도우 사이즈를 임의로 설정하여 데이터를 처리해왔다. 따라서, 본 논문은 학습 시간과 모델 성능을 기준으로 센서 데이터의 윈도우 사이즈 최적화 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 전류를 이용하여 스위치와 다이오드 온도를 추정하는 가상 센서(virtual sensor) 실험 테스트베드에 적용하여, 학습 시간 중심으로는 5%의 윈도우 사이즈를, 모델성능 중심으로는 R2 SCORE 의 값을 0.9295 로 갖는 8%의 윈도우 사이즈가 최적으로 도출되었다.

To obtain basic data used for establishing the criteria of deterioration in renovation of educational facilities, current problems of material and method and quality improvements were examined. In this study, the elementary schools built 20 and 70 years ago were unintentionally chosen and studied. With the data of the repair of old educational facilities, the results are as follows. The First problem is that the construction priority which was based on non-experts decision. The Second problem is that maintenance method which changes the materials after their life was ended. So, refer to remodeling of educational facilities, the selections of proper materials and methods to use of each function were main object in this study.

Deterioration of the educational facilities built before 1985 is a serious situation. The purpose of this study is to present the efficient remodeling method of old educational facilities. This paper, part III, presents the systemic and synthetic judgment method of deterioration grade of finished materials. Evaluation of the deterioration is carried out in every eight classrooms or building elements divided by the use. And classrooms are divided by several parts for example floor, wall and ceiling etc.. The whole deterioration of the building judges the result of every part collectively.

본 논문에서는 화자식별을 위한 특징벡터의 새로운 클러스터링 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 클러스터 센터에 대한 초기값 설정과 클러스터 개수에 대한 사전 정보 없이 클러스터링이 가능하다. 각 클러스터 센터는 경계 차감 클러스터링 알고리즘으로 한 번에 한 개의 클러스터 센터가 추가됨으로써 순차적으로 구해지며, 클러스터 개수는 클러스터간의 상호관계를 조사하여 결정된다. 인공 생성 데이터 및 TIMIT 음성을 이용하여 실험한 결과로부터 제안된 방법이 기존의 방법보다 우수함을 확인하였다. In this paper we propose a new clustering algorithm that performs clustering the feature vectors for the speaker identification. Unlike typical clustering approaches, the proposed method performs the clustering without the initial guesses of locations of the cluster centers and a priori information about the number of clusters. Cluster centers are obtained incrementally by adding one cluster center at a time through the boundary subtractive clustering algorithm. The number of clusters is obtained from investigating the mutual relationship between clusters. The experimental results for artificial datum and TIMIT DB show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm as compared with the conventional methods.

Deterioration of the educational facilities built before 1985 is a serious situation. The purpose of this study is to present the efficient remodeling method of old educational facilities. This paper, part II, presents the systemic and synthetic judgment method of deterioration grade of structural components. Deterioration grade of the whole structural components are judged by synthetic evaluation score which is the total of the score of ten evaluation items. And we added the importance coefficient of the viewpoint of four performance to each evaluation item.
