In this study, we have developed a process for separating and recovering Ni and Fe in solution through a new solvent instead of TBP and Alamine336, which are solvents used in the conventional solvent extraction method. Experimental conditions were optimized through lab test and a 10 L h-1 pilot plant was constructed for commercialization. In addition, the process data for mass production were obtained through pilot experiment and it was confirmed that there is no problem in product quality that can be used through the corrosion test of ferric chloride. 본 연구에서는 염화제이철의 재생공정으로 기존 용매추출법에서 사용하고 있는 용매인 TBP 및 Alamine336 대신에 새로운 용매를 통해 용액 내에 존재하는 Ni과 Fe를 분리 및 회수하는 공정을 개발하였다. Lab 실험을 통하여 실험조건을최적화하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 상업화를 위한 10 L h-1급 파일럿 설비를 구축하였다. 또한 파일럿 실험을 통하여 양산을 위한 공정 데이터를 확보하였으며, 제조된 염화제이철의 부식실험을 통하여 사용할 수 있는 제품 품질에 문제없음을확인하였다.
철-니켈 합금 에칭구액 용매추출 공정 용액으로부터 고순도 탄산니켈 제조에 관한 연구

여러 가지 금속을 에칭하기 위하여 사용된 $FeCl_3$ 폐용액은 유가금속인 니켈을 함유하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 염화철을 재생하고 남은 니켈 함유 에칭폐액으로부터 니켈을 고순도의 탄산니켈 결정분말로 회수하고자 하였다. 5 % NaOH 수용액을 이용하여 pH 4의 조건에서 1차적으로 철 성분의 불순물을 약 97 % 제거하고 추가적으로 남은 불순물을 제거하기 위하여 용매추출제 D2EHPA(Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid)를 사용하여 불순물로서 존재하는 금속이온들을 약 99% 제거하였다. 그 후 불순물이 제거된 염화니켈 용액에 탄산나트륨과의 반응을 통하여 99.9 % 이상의 순도를 가진 탄산니켈분말을 얻을 수 있었다. The $FeCl_3$ waste solution used to etch various metals contains valuable metal such as nickel. In this study, we recovered as high purity nickel carbonate crystalline powders from nickel-containing etching waste solution after regeneration of iron chloride. Firstly we eliminated about of the iron impurities under the condition of pH 4 using 5 % NaOH aqueous solution and then removed the remaining impurities such as Ca, Mn and Zn etc. by using solvent extractant D2EHPA (Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid). Thereafter, nickel carbonate powder having a purity of 99.9 % or more was obtained through reaction with sodium carbonate in a nickel chloride solution.

In 1949, in the An-ak(安岳) area of Hwang-hae Province of North Korea, three sites of old tombs with murals of Kokuryo customs were discovered and studied. In one of the tombs the history of the tomb was recorded on the wall, and, according to this, the person who was buried in the tomb was a Chinese named Tung-su (Tong-su in Korean) who-came from Liao-tung area. Both the dress and the official title as appeared in the mural paintings of the tomb were also Chinese. And the construction and form of the tomb-room are identical with those of the stone-tombs of Liao-tung area. Furthermore, mural paintings of the tomb reflect the tradition of ancient Chinese mural paintings in its format and main subject. In other words, this tomb is based on Chinese style and is an old Chinese tomb with mural paintings. The other two tombs do not differ from Kokuryo’s tombs in the structure of tomb-room, but the dresses shown on the mural paintings are Chinese. Therefore, there is no doubt that these tombs are also Chinese tombs. Originally, this area was the place where the Han Provinces were established from 108 B.C. to 313 A.D., and therefore many relics are found here and tombs with mural paintings here are believed to be those of Chinese residents who remained there.

We present the case report of a 72-year-old female in whom diaphragmatic eventration and secondary gastric volvulus developed 10 years after a left partial pneumonectomy for a bronchiectasis. Eventration of the diaphragm is defined as an abnormal elevation of an intact diaphragm. The abnormally wide subdiaphragmatic space provides the potential for a gastric volvulus, which results from the strong negative intrathoracic pulling force created by the potential subphrenic space and paradoxical movement of the diaphragm. Unless this strong negative force is first eliminated, gastropexy alone will lead to recurrence. Obliteration of the subphrenic space by colonic displacement is a simple and effective way of abolishing this negative subdiaphragmatic pulling force. Treatment of gastric volvulus requires immediate surgical repair to prevent subsequent necrosis and perforation, with surgical correction of the underlying anatomic abnormality being the treatment of choice for gastric volvulus. We experienced a case of gastric volvulus due to diaphragmatic eventration who was treated with colonic displacement.
