Single household is expected to be the typical form of future Korean elderly household from reduction of household size and rapid growth of the elderly. As Japanese solve the same problem with Senior Sharehouse, a case study on Senior Sharehouse in japan focused on the Spatial Arrangement and Spatial Composition could suggest an potential applications in Korea. In conclusion, compare to Korea, the Senior Sharehouse in Japan supplies additional $7.5{\sim}9.3m^2$ more space to support the physical movement of the elderly and to help the elderly to solve various functions at one space. The independence and privacy of residents are also assured by supplying single occupancy. Space analysis shows that public space is as spacious (47.3~55%) as personal space. The result of the Space analysis suggests that the sharehouse provides rational ratio of space to assure residents' independence. It was supposed that the center type would be the main stream of the Spatial Arrangement for sharehouse considering its characteristic of sharing space. But, the Senior Sharehouse in Japan prefers corner type. The guarantee of personal space is being considered as a important characteristic. As a result of case analysis, Senior Sharehouse can be a proper type of house for single elderly household and present study can be used for the baseline data to solve the residence problem for single elderly household in Korea.

Strut-Tie model which assumes a member as a truss that consist of compressive strut and tension tie is used to analyse flexural beam member that have variable sections more accurately. Ultimate load 23.4kN predicted by Strut-Tie model was similar to test value 25.0kN and failure mode which was predicted by Strut-Tie model showed similar result of test. Strut-Tie model, therefore, can be rational model to analyse variable section members.

Current codes of minimum and maximum shear reinforcement ratio to determine shear failure mode in shear design are different from each other because shear behavior of RC has been not understanded clearly yet. Most design codes are based on experimental result and even some theoretical model have many assumptions due to complexity of analytical model. This study derived minimum and maximum shear reinforcement ratio of RC beams theoretically by considering effect of several key parameters. The proposed model provided reasonably good estimation on the shear reinforcement ratio and modes of shear failure of RC beams.

Recently, our rapid entrance into emotional society helps intangible designs like service, experience, and emotion to be occurred on the market. Consequently, firms have introduced flagship stores so as to narrow the gap between themselves and customers. To convey brand identity to customers effectively which firms intend, experience design is one of the most essential element. In this study, experience design focused on experience space is combined with space design to fulfill customers` various demand in the volatile consumption environment of current consumer society. The research is conducted on the state and the characters of experience design which is induced into the space of flagship stores. The research results shows that the elements which cause the combination of experience design and space design are user, behavior, and experience. From the perspective of user and behavior, the derived characters of experience design can be assorted into behavior induction, behavior lead, and behavior reaction which have been used practically at the flagship stores of luxury brands. Through experience design, firms provide customers with various event spaces and exterior spaces in which they can experience the affirmation of firms. Additional study on this topic will be surveyed continually to research the promotive elements which lead to experience design within space design and to suggest effective ways which can be applied experience design to spaces so as to heighten customers satisfaction.
실험동물 뇨시료의 대사체학적 분석을 위한 핵자기공명스펙트럼 패턴인식

Metabonomic analysis has been recognized as a powerful approach for characterizing metabolic changes in biofluids due to toxicity disease process or environmental influences. To investigate the possibility of relating metabolic changes with ¹H-NMR spectra, urine samples from Sprague-Dawley rats treated with various dietary restrictions or toxic substances (nicotine) were analysed using ¹H-NMR spectroscopy and pattern recognition techniques. Dietary restrictions-given to male rats were normal diet and high fat diet and fasting. The nicotine urine samples were collected from SD rats administered with nicotine (25 mg/kg) at the various time intervals. ¹H-NMR spectra of all urine samples were acquired at 400 MHz on a VARIAN spectrometer. To establish the presence of any intrinsic class-related patterns or clusters in each NMR data, methods of PCA (principal component analysis) and soft independent modeling of class analogy (SIMCA) analysis were used, and the results from these analyses were compared to each other, In all cases of dietary conditions and nicotine treatment, SIMCA analysis gave better results for the discrimination of NMR spectra of urine samples than PCA.
지역문화콘텐츠에 따른 빛 축제 공간적 특성에 관한 연구

우리나라는 산업화와 경제발전으로 인한 삶의 질 향상을 위해 문화에 대한 관심도가 증가하고 있다. 특히 지역이 가진 지역문화콘텐츠를 활용한 지역축제의 성공적인 개최는 가장 큰 화제다. 빛을 이용한 `빛 축제`는 도시의 어둠을 밝히고 아름다운 야경을 형성하는 축제이다. 이와 더불어 지역문화콘텐츠의 요소가 결합되면 지역이미지 향상과 홍보효과를 가져오게 된다. 이처럼 빛 축제가 점차 부각되고 있는 반면에 빛 축제에 대한 학문적 연구는 거의 찾아 볼 수 없으며 특히, 빛 축제 공간의 특성에 관한 연구는 미약하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지역문화콘텐츠와 빛 축제의 상관관계에 대해 분석하고 축제 공간을 이루는 중요한 공간적 특성을 3가지 요소로 나눌 수 있었다. 첫 번째, 축제 공간의 특성을 대변하는 요소는 주제다. 각 지역의 문화콘텐츠 요소가 가장 선명히 부각되는 요소이며 지역과 축제를 긴밀하게 연결해주고 있었다. 두 번째, 장소도 축제공간의 특성을 반영하고 있었다. 축제의 장소로 자리매김한 공간들은 대부분 도심의 랜드마크적 성향이 강했다. 세 번째, 축제공간의 특성을 반영하는 물리적 요소는 내용이다. 물리적인 전시오브제들과 공연무대, 체험공간의 공간구획 방식에 따라 관람객의 관람동선이 정해지고 다양한 조명연출을 통해 빛 축제를 부각시켰다. 빛 축제의 주제나 장소, 전시오브제는 빛 축제의 공간적 특성을 대변하며, 지역문화콘텐츠와 긴밀한 연관성이 있다. 이는 향후 도시를 마케팅하며 지역의 아이덴티티확보에 도움이 될 것이다. For the qualitative improvement in life style, the interest on cultural contents has been expanded in Korea after her successful industrialization and economic development. Especially, one of the biggest issues is successful management of local festival using local cultural contents. `Light Festival` lightens the darkness of cities and forms beautiful night views. Being combined with some elements of Local Cultural Contents, `Light Festival` will promote local growth and improve the image of local community. Although `Light Festival` is being magnified gradually, the academic studies on it are infrequently to be found, especially much harder on spatial features of it. Therefore, in this study, I will analyze corelation between Local Cultural contents and `Light Festival` and dissect meaningful spatial features into three elements. First, theme is the one of the most important elements of spatial features on Light Festival. Theme highlights the local cultural contents of each community and links the communities and festivals. Second, Places also show the spatial features. The places for the festivals have strongly been associated with the community as landmarks. Third, Details are the last physical element showing the spatial features. Audiences have been led by physical exhibition objects, exhibition stages, and compartments of space. Various displays of light fixtures revalued Light Festival. Theme, place, exhibition objects add value on the spatial feature of Light Festival and have strong correlation with local cultural contents. Festival will be a great help to community`s economic benefit and identity.
강섬유보강콘크리트 보의 비틀림 성능에 관한 실험적 연구

It is known that steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) members have enhanced torsional performances, compared to typical reinforced concrete members, but, our understanding on torsional behavior of SFRC members are yet very limited due to insufficient research on this topic. Thus, this study performed torsional tests on SFRC members, in which radial strain gradients developed in thin-walled concrete tube were measured in detail. The shortcomings of current design codes on the torsional strength of heavily reinforced members in transverse direction have been also discussed. Test results showed that the SFRC specimens having larger volume fraction of steel fibers had greater torsional strength and more ductile behavior as well. The compressive strains in the extreme fiber of SFRC members were estimated at about 0.0035 to 0.0040 at ultimate state. All specimens had the initial cracking angle of about 45 degrees, while the inclined angles at ultimate became somewhat smaller. The current code provisions overestimated the torsional strengths of all specimens that were over-reinforced against torsion.
