Quantitative Research of Listening Items on the English Teacher Selection Test for Secondary School
정종찬,차경환 팬코리아영어교육학회 2012 영어교육연구 Vol.24 No.2
The purpose of this study is to analyze the English Teacher Selection Test (ETST)listening comprehension items through mock test results of university students. This study focuses on 24 listening items during the past three years (2009-2011) of the ETST for secondary school. The subjects participating in this study were 54 freshmen majoring in English education. The reason that freshmen were involved in this experiment is that they were less exposed to the ETST than junior or senior students. The results of this study indicate that the average results of words per minute (WPM) show 174.2, which is an “average” level. The level of difficulty of listening items should be improved because 19out of a total 24 items were classified either easy or very easy. The calculated level of item discrimination categorized 11 items out of 24 as very good and reasonably good. However, the remaining 13 items are marginal items and need to be improved by revision. In addition, this research includes the analysis of the actual listening script recording of the tests with an English native professor.

Angular electroluminescence spectra stabilized and efficiency enhanced top-emitting organic lightemittingdevices (TOLEDs) were demonstrated using randomly distributed mesoscopic internal wrinkles. Compared to planar TOLEDs, wrinkled TOLEDs showed a faster exciton decay rate in the emissive layerand high rate of radiative recombination, which leads to enhanced efficiency. Our wrinkled TOLEDsshowed angular spectral dependency (u0v0(u)) of 0.0032, which is low enough to be imperceptible to thehuman eyes, and 38.7 % enhanced external quantum efficiency relative to the planar counterpart. Theapproach described here provides an effective scheme for improving TOLEDs and obviating the necessityof modifying the stack structure of the device.

The medium used for bottle cultivation of mushrooms is made according to a specific workflow; this includes mixing the raw materials, adjusting the moisture content, placing the mixture into bottles, and sterilizing and cooling the medium. Medium composition should be kept constant throughout the year. placed in the bottle, choice of materials, moisture content, weight of the medium, bulk density, nitrogen content, three-phase medium, such as suitable conditions. To achieve constant medium composition a comprehensive model has been established in accordance with the technology developed in the work process with respect to medium compositions piecemeal. By comprehensively applying the various methods to establish medium composition, our country can expect to grow at over four seasons and overcome the many difficulties in mushroom mycelial growth periods, cultivation periods, quantity, and quality.

Objective: This study investigated the effects of combining both mobilization and hold-relax (HR) technique on the function of post-surgical patients with shoulder adhesive capsulitis. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: Forty-five surgical patients with shoulder adhesive capsulitis participated in this study and were randomly divided into three groups; both mobilization with movement (MWM) and HR technique (HR-MWM) group (n=15), the MWM group (n=15), and control group (n=15). All participants received three different interventions; 1) MWM combined with HR technique in PNF stretching on the shoulder, 2) MWM on the shoulder, 3) general physical therapy and intervention with neither MWM or HR stretching. Pre- and post-intervention, each subject was randomly evaluated for shoulder flexion range of motion (ROM), shoulder flexor muscle strength, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and the Korean version of the Shoulder Pain And Disability Index (SPADI). Results: The MWM combined with HR technique group had significant effects on shoulder flexion ROM, shoulder flexor muscle strength, VAS and SPADI compared to the MWM and control group (p<0.05). The MWM group showed a significantly greater increase in shoulder flexion ROM compared to the control group (p<0.05). Conclusions: These findings suggest that combining both the MWM and HR technique on the shoulder may more effectively improve shoulder function than MWM alone or without MWM&HR technique. Therefore, combining both the MWM and HR technique is a suggested intervention for increasing function due to shoulder adhesive capsulitis after surgery.
