This study is to investigate experimentally relationships between the impact energy and moisture absorption characteristies vs.the residual bending strength with the variation of stacking seqences. When Carbon-fiber reinforced plastics(CFRP) impact-induced laminates are subjected to the high temperatures and hygrothermal effects, it is found that what CFRP laminates are impacted by a steel ball (5 mm in diametar) ; thus, the generated delamination is observed by the ultrasonic microscope. And the residual bending strength is evaluated by a three-point bending test. Also, a thermostat is used in test with the unimpacted and impacted specimens for the moisture experimentaiton. The percision electro lever scles is used to measure the moisture content(1/10, 000g).

Conventional ultrasonic thickness measurement is to be considered as the assumption that the ultrasonic velocity is known. In actual applications the velocity is often not well known and access is often limited to one side. This paper aims at determining the ultrasonic velocity and thickness of plates with parallel or wedged surfaces using contact measurements made on one surface only. For wedged plates the thickness at one point and the wedge angle are determined. Equations are used for determining the ultrasonic velocity, thickness and wedge angle of the plate based on the times-of-flight measured by two contact transducers coupled to one surface. The time-of-flight of the obliquely reflected longitudinal wave echo was measured as a function of the separation between the two transducers. In addition, a simulation was made for comparing the experimental data and a FEM image. Experiments and simulations were performed on flat and wedged plates of aluminium materials; the calculated results for the unknown quantities are generally agreed with them to some degree.

Objective & Methods : Irritable Bowel Syndrome is occurred frequently in daily life. Nevertheless. medical treatment of the Irritable Bowel Syndrome is almost dependent on western cure, but that cure is not effective enough. So we chose the oriental medicine textbook that were dealing with the oriental concept and the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. we got these results. Results were as follows : 1. Irritable Bowel Syndrome is characterised by recurrent or chronic abdominal pain, with distension, disturbed defecation and psychic problems without organic lesions. 2. The etiology of Irritable Bowel Syndrome include stress. disharmony of liver and spleen, the coldness of spleen and kidney and the lack of qi or yin, etc. 3. The oriental treatments of Irritable Bowel Syndrome are warming spleen and kidney, easing liver and stopping diarrhea. 4. The internal medication of Irritable Bowel Syndrome was the most used 11 times Tongsayobang(痛瀉要方) and 10 times Yijungtang(理中湯). 5. The most many used herb were Atractylodjs macrocephalae rhjzoma(白朮), Gjnseng Radix (人蔘), Cjnnamomj Cortex(肉桂), Polyporus(猪笭), etc.

A study of terahertz waves (T-ray) was made for the nondestructive evaluation of FRP (Fiber reinforced plastics) composite materials. The to-be-used systems were time domain spectroscopy (TDS) and continuous wave (CW). The composite materials investigated include both turbine blades of wind energy (non-conducting polymeric composites) and conducting carbon fiber composites. Terahertz signals in the TDS mode resembles that of ultrasound; however, unlike ultrasound, a terahertz pulse was not able to detect a material with conductivity. This was demonstrated in CFRP (Carbon fiber reinforced plastics) laminates. Refractive index (n) was defined as one of mechanical properties; so a method was solved in order solve the “n” in the material with the cut parts of the turbine blades of wind energy. The defects and anomalies investigated by terahertz radiation were foreign material inclusions and simulated disband. Especially, it is found that the T-ray went through the turbine blade with greater thickness (about 90mm).

Carbon Fiber reinforced composite material can be designed for the optimized performances of structural member that have achieve appropriate mechanical properties with cross-sectional shape, fiber direction, stacking sequence and thickness. So there are needed extensive databases each optimal design of CFRP structural member by impact through the preparation of different shape, interface number, thickness and stacking angle. When pressure is applied to structural member, compression, bending and torsion is shown on the corresponding member. For the effective utilization of fiber reinforced composite material as main structural member, optimized design technology should be established to maximize mechanical properties for compression, bending and torsion. In this paper, CFRP prepreg sheet with different stacking angle is manufactured in CFRP and hybird(Al+CFRP) with circular cross-section. Strength and stiffness is gotten respectively by flexure test. CFRP structure and hybrid structure can be compared with each other. The best design guideline can be analyzed by use of this study result.

Because of the inherent flexibility in their design for improved material properties, composites have wide applications in aerospace vehicles and automobiles. The purpose of this study is to investigate the energy absorption characteristics of CFRP( Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics); tubes on static and impact tests. Static compression tests have been carried out using the static testing machine(Shin-gang buckling testing machine)and impact compression tests have been carried out using the vertival crushing testing machine. When such tubes were subjected to crushing loads, the response is complex and depends on the interaction between the different mechanisms that control the crushing process. The collapse characteristics and energy absorption were examined. Trigger and interlaminar number affect energy absorption capability of CFRP tubes.

Domestic rail industry for the development of Korea High Speed Rail paid for high technology, imported to Korea. However, If technology based on conditions that are not equipped with relevant skills is received, there are limits to what it used to. so team of high speed railway began technical development. In this study, through the motor block resistant plan, the current block resistant identifies problems related to it, in order to improve the quality of the parts, secure the standards and guarantee their life span. The localization of the resistant is really possible thanks to the technical skills.

In this study, when flat glass plates are subjected to impact, theoretical analyses are compared with fracture patterns. The main conclusions obtained are as. follows; 1. The fracture patterns of static fracture are all radial cracks, regradless of plate thickness, and the thicker the plate thickness, the fewer crack numbers of radial. 2. In becoming natural drop, impact fracture patterns appear to be radial patterns by the prinicipal stress theory. By comparing experimental results with numerical analysis results of the strain distribution, it is theoretically confirmed that circular fractures (ring fractures) are generated by the shear wave. 3. Under the conditions that the ball diameter is 4.8㎜, the plate thickness 3㎜ and 5㎜, and the impact velocity 25m/sec~50m/sec, cone cracks are generated. Especially, the diameter of spherical cone is generated about five times to plate thinkness 5㎜. 4. Within the range of impact velocity, 25m/sec~50m/sec it was appeared that radical cracks and cone cracks are superposed with the mass of ball heavy and the plate thickness thin.
