This study was carried out to investigate incubating characteristics, LTSEM observation, nature of a disease of infected silkworms(bombyx mori), LD_50, optimum Infective condition for mass production and infection percentage(%) on conservation periods. On the V8 media, the colony was 0.5-2.0 cm/8 days in diameter and white or slighty colored with a white fluffy to powdery appearance. The conidia was subglobos in shape, zig-zag appearance, 1-celled, hyaline and 3.2×2.4 μm in size on the average. The conidiophore was irregular grouped, hyaline, rounded or flask-shaped. The LD_50 values of the 2nd and 4th silkworms were each other 6.6142(Log), 7.0669(Log) in natural temperature and humidity(25°C.65%). On optimum infective condition for mass production, all of presevation time(hr.) postinoculation in 1.0×10^8conidia/ml was over 97% and only 20 hr in 1.0×10^7conidia/ml was over 90%.
C57BL/KsJ-db/db 제2형 당뇨병 마우스에서 발아일품벼 추출물의 항당뇨효과

본 연구에서는 제2형 당뇨병 모델인 C57BLKS/J-db/db마우스에서 발아일품벼 추출물의 농도별로 급여한 후 혈당조절에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 조사하였다. C57BLKS/J-db/db 마우스에게 급여한 발아일품벼 추출물의 양에 따라 5군 즉, 정상군(Normal Control: NC), 당뇨대조군(Diabetic Control: DC), 1% 발아벼 추출물 급여군(DM-1% GIRRE), 0.5% 발아벼 추출물 급여군(DM-0.5%GIRRE), 0.25% 발아벼 추출물 급여군(DM-0.25%GIRRE)으로 나누었다. 8주 동안 매일 식이 섭취량과 음료섭취량 및 매주 체중과 공복혈당을 측정하고 마지막 주에 경구포도당 부하검사(OGTT)를 실시하였으며, 부검 시 혈액을 채취하여 혈청인슐린 농도와 당화혈색소를 측정하였다. 그 결과, DM-1% GIRRE군에서 당뇨유발에 의한 체중감소 및 당뇨 증상 중에 다음(poly-dipsia), 다식(polyphasia) 등이 어느 정도 완화되고 있음을 알 수 있다. DM-1%GIRRE군에서 당뇨동물의 공복 혈당, 경구 내당능 검사, 혈중 HbA1c 수준을 유의적으로 낮추었지만, 혈장 인슐린 농도는 당뇨실험군들 간에는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 결과를 종합해보면 발아일품벼 추출물의 급여가 혈당상승을 억제하는 효과가 있는 것으로 생각되며 그 기전에 대해서는 향후 추가 연구가 필요하다고 본다. This study was performed to investigate the effect of germinated Ilpum rough rice extract on blood glucose in C57BL/KsJ-db/db mice. The mice were divided into several groups: normal control (NC), diabetic control (DC), those fed with 0.25% germinated Ilpum rough rice extract (DM-0.25%GIRRE), those fed with 0.5% germinated Ilpum roughrice extract (DM-0.5%GIRRE) and those fed with 1% germinated Ilpum rough rice extract (DM-1%GIRRE). After 8 weeks of treatment, body weight, water intake, and diet intake of the DM-1%GIRRE group were significantly lower than the other DM groups. Blood glucose levels of the DM-1%GIRRE group were significantly lower compared to the DC group. Fasting blood glucose HbA1c level and total glucose tolerance test were significantly lower in the DM-1%GIRRE groups compared to the DC group. There was no significant difference in serum insulin level among each group. Therefore, the results of this study demonstrate that germinated Ilpum rough rice extract alleviates many of the symptoms of diabetes in genetically obese mice and may offer a possibility as a therapeutic supplement for the normalization of blood glucose levels in humans with hyperglycemia. It may also have beneficial effects in patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.

Purpose: To investigate correlations between myositis-specific autoantibodies (MSA) or myositis-associated antibodies (MAA) andclinical features, thereby demonstrating the utility of clinicoserologic classification in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM) patients. Materials and Methods: We conducted a multicenter study of 108 adult patients (age ≥18 years) who were diagnosed with IIM byPeter and Bohan criteria or 2004 European Neuromuscular Centre (ENMC) criteria. Clinical data were obtained by medical recordreview. Immunoblot assay with Euroline strip (EUROIMMUN, Germany) was performed using the sera of dermatomyositis (DM,n=56), polymyositis (PM, n=45), amyopathic DM (n=5), DM sine dermatitis (n=1), and immune mediated necrotizing myopathy(n=1) patients. Patients were classified based on two classifications: 2017 EULAR/ACR and novel clinicoserologic classification. Results: According to 2017 EULAR/ACR criteria, DM and PM were the most and the second most frequent entities. Overlap myositiswas the major entity of IIM, and the frequency of PM was significantly lower when applying clinicoserologic classification criteria. Sixty-nine (63.9%) patients had one or more MSA, and 61 (56.5%) patients had one or more MAA. Interstitial lung disease wasclosely associated with anti-MDA5 and anti-ARS, and DM-specific skin lesions were frequently observed in patients with anti-TIF1γ, anti-SRP, and anti-MDA5. Conclusion: The clinicoserologic criteria based on MSA/MAA positivity could reflect more precise clinical features of IIM. Establishmentof a laboratory system routinely available to screen for MSA/MAA status will be beneficial to provide precise diagnosisand proper management of IIM patients.

본 연구는 은나노 입자가 항유된 용액을 이용하여 기능성 천연실크를 생산하고자 수행하였다. 1. 은나노 적정농도는 500 ppm 처리구가 은함량, 화용비율 및 견층비율을 종합적인 비교 분석에서 적정농도로 조사되었다. 2. 일반 품종별 은함량 측정에서 흰고치(금옥잠) 품종 대비 연녹고치(C212) 품종이 69% 많았다. 3. 은나노 첨식 처리기간별 조사에서는 5령3일부터 상족전 (18회 급상)까지 첨식한 처리구가 가장 우수 하였다. 4. 실크에 함유된 은나노 입자의 크기는 26.98nm에서 99.81nm임을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰되었다. 5. 그리고, 은나노 입자가 함유된 사료로 사육된 누에의 번데기, 누에고치 추출액과 같은 부산물 내에 기능성 은나노 입차가 균일하게 분포하게 됨을 확인하였다. Silkworm fed on the mulberry leaf mixed with silver nanoparticle to produce silver-nanoparticle embedded cocoon. Comparative analysis of silver content of cocoon shell, percentage of pupation and percentage of cocoon-shell weight showed that the optimum concentration and the feeding period of mulberry leaf mixed with silver nanoparticle were 500 ppm and the period from 3 day 5 instar to mounting of silkworm. The silver content of cocoon was observed variously by silkworm breedings. C2 12 variety makes pale yellow cocoon with the highest silver content (69%). Using the scanning electron microscope, we showed that the size of silver nanoparticles in silk was observed from 26.98 to 99.81 nm. Silver-nanoparticle embedded silk is expected to use as high valuable application owing to the different functional properties including antibiotic characteristics and mechanical and electronic properties. The applicable fields expected is antistatic and/or electronic products with biological degradable natural materials.
