The pH effect of the precursor solution on the preparation of $LiCoO_2$ by a solution phase reaction containing malonic acid was carried out. Layered $LiCoO_2$ powders were obtained with the precursors prepared at the different pHs (4, 7, and 9) and heat-treated at $700^{\circ}C(LiCoO_2-700)$ or $850^{\circ}C(LiCoO_2-850)$ in air. pHs of the media for precursor synthesis affects the charge/discharge and electrochemical properties of the $LiCoO_2electrodes.$ Upon irrespective of pH of the precursor media, X-ray diffraction spectra recorded for $LiCoO_2-850$ powder showed higher peak intensity ratio of I(003)/I(104) than that of $LiCoO_2-700$, since the better crystallization of the former crystallized better. However, $LiCoO_2$ synthesized at pH 4 displayed an abnormal higher intensity ratio of I(003)/I(104) than those synthesized at pH 7 and 9. The surface morphology of the $LiCoO_2-850$ powders was rougher and more irregular than that of $LiCoO_2-700$ made from the precursor synthesized at pH 7 and 9. The $LiCoO_2electrodes$ prepared with the precursors synthesized at pH 7 and 9 showed a better electrochemical and charge/discharge characteristics. From the AC impedance spectroscopic experiments for the electrode made from the precursor prepared in pH 7, the chemical diffusivity of Li ions (DLi+) in $Li0.58CoO_2determined$ was 2.7 ${\times}$10-8 $cm^2s-1$. A cell composed of the $LiCoO_2-700$ cathode prepared in pH 7 with Lithium metal anode reveals an initial discharge specific capacity of 119.8 mAhg-1 at a current density of 10.0 mAg-1 between 3.5 V and 4.3 V. The full-cell composed with $LiCoO_2-700$ cathode prepared in pH 7 and the Mesocarbon Pitch-based Carbon Fiber (MPCF) anode separated by a Cellgard 2400 membrane showed a good cycleability. In addition, it was operated over 100 charge/discharge cycles and displayed an average reversible capacity of nearly 130 mAhg-1.

. The purpose of this study was to confirm the efficacy of Magnolia kobus ethanol extract (MKEE) on various biological targets of a cosmetic ingredient. Suppressed production of NO and PGE2, inflammatory mediators induced by LPS, also inhibited the activity of 11β-HSD1, an enzyme that converts cortisol, a stress hormone that causes inflammation. Excessive production of sebum caused by palmitic acid was significantly inhibited by MKEE, and inhibition of the lipase activity of Malassezia furfur, a lipophilic bacterium that metabolizes sebum, was also confirmed. In addition, MKEE can inhibit the growth of four type of skin bacteria that produce volatile organic substances that cause body odor, and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) for each bacteria was in the range of 2 to 8 mg/mL. These results, which indicate the various physiological activities of MKEE, suggest its potential for use as a cosmetic material that can be applied to various parts of the body.

목 적 : 본 연구는 통계청 근무자의 직무스트레스를 효율적으로 관리하고 정신건강을 증진하기 위해 통계청의 직무에 특이적인 스트레스 척도를 개발하고 개발된 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 방 법 : 호남 지역 통계청에 근무하는 남·여 480명을 대상으로 하였다. 한국형 직무스트레스 척도를 기본으로 하고, 예비연구를 통해 문항이 새롭게 보강된 ‘통계청 근무자를 위한 한국판 직무스트레스 척도’(이하 통계청 직무스트레스 척도)를 개발하였으며, 이를 단축형 일반건강척도(GHQ-12), 간이정신진단검사(SCL-90-R), 삶의 만족도 척도(SWLS)를 이용하여 비교하였다. 통계청 직무스트레스 척도 문항에 대한 내적 일치도, 탐색적 요인분석 및 정신건강관련 척도와의 상관분석을 시행하였다. 모든 분석은 SPSS 21.0을이용하였다. 결 과 : 개발된 척도의 문항 내적 일치도는 우수한 편이었다(Cronbach’s alpha=0.56-0.79). 통계청 직무스트레스 척도의 요인분석 결과 직무특성 및 감정노동, 직무적성 및 만족, 조직문화, 상사리더십, 조직 내 관계, 업무부담, 공정한 대우, 급여 및 복지 등 8개의 요인이 선택되었다. 최종적으로 구성된 통계청 직무스트레스 척도와 정신건강관련 척도와의 상관관계는 모두 통계적으로 유의하였다 (p<0.05). 결 론 : 본 연구에서 개발된 통계청 직무스트레스 척도는 통계청 업무의 특성을 반영하고 있어 통계청 근무자의 직무스트레스 평가 및정신건강 증진에 유용할 것이다. Objectives : The aim of this study is to develop the Korean Occupational Stress Scale for the National Statistics Office Workers (KOSS-NSOW) and to examine the reliability and validity of this job-specific stress scale. Methods : A total of 480 subjects who were working at the Honam National Statistics Office were included. They completed the preliminary KOSS-NSOW, the 12-item general health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), Symptom checklist-90-Revision (SCL-90-R), Satisfaction with the life scale (SWLS). The Data were analyzed for internal consistency, factor structure and correlations using SPSS 21.0 (p<0.05). Results : KOSS-NSOW’s internal consistency using Cronbach’s alpha was superior (Cronbach’s alpha=0.56-0.79). The factor analysis revealed eight-factors: Occupational characteristics and emotional labor, Occupational aptitude and satisfaction, Organizational culture, Leadership of superior, Relationship in organization, Workload, Fair treatment, Salary and welfare were. A good validity was clearly shown by significant correlations with KOSS-NSOW and GHQ-12, SCL-90-R, SWLS (p<0.05). Conclusion : This newly developed KOSS-NSOW might be useful instrument for the evaluation of occupational stress in the statistics workers and for improving mental health.
