        악안면 기형의 상하악골 전후방적 위치관계에 대한 McNamara Analysis와 Delaire Analysis의 기준선 비교연구

        Purpose: McNamara and Delaire analyses are two commonly used analytic methods, yet, they differ in their theoretic concepts and different reference lines are used for ideal surgical prediction. Therefore, the use of different analytic methods may result in different surgical plans. The purpose of this study was to compare the anterior and posterior relationship of the maxilla and mandible by using McNamara and Delaire analysis. Methods: 30 Korean patients (15 male and 15 female) who had visited the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, Yonsei University, for dentofacial evaluation were studied by using McNamara's and Delaire's analyses. Results: On the maxillary analysis, 26 out of 30 patients (86.7%) were in accordance. On the mandibular analysis, 20 out of 30 patients (66.7%) were in accordance. On the maxillary analysis, McNamara's analysis showed an average of 0.36 mm greater amount of prognathism compared to Delaire's analysis, and this was not statistically significant. On the mandibular analysis, McNamara's analysis showed an average of 6.03 mm greater amount of prognathism compared to Delaire's analysis, and this was statistically significant. On the mandibular analysis, 26 out of 30 patients (86.7%) showed a greater amount of prognathism on McNamara's analysis compared to that of Delaire's analysis. The remaining 4 patients (13.3%) showed the same amount of prognathism on both analyses. Conclusion: These results may serve as a reference for surgeons when determining which analytic method is to be used for optimal surgical results.

        전처리 방법 및 숙성온도 변화에 따른 쌀된장의 특성 변화

        Changes in physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics of rice-doenjang prepared with two different methods with or without soak treatment were investigated during 60 days of aging at 32℃ and 15℃. The pH of soak-treated rice-doestjang decreased slowly, but that of nonsoak-treated rice-doenjang decreased rapidly at the initial aging stage with the aging temperature of 32℃, resulting in pH 5.1 after the 60 days of aging time. Reducing sugar contents increased up to the 30∼50 days of aging time and decreased thereafter. The contents of soluble nitrogen, formol nitrogen, ammoniacal nitrogen and amino nitrogen were more affected by preparation methods than by aging temperatures. Color values depended not only on preparation methods but also on aging temperatures. There were no significant differences in the bacterial counts of rice-doenjang, while apparent differences in the yeast and mold counts by aging temperatures were observed. These results suggested that the properties of soak-treated rice-doenjang were less changed than those of nonsoak-treated rice-doenjang by aging time and temperature. Md, with a view point of nitrogen compounds, aging time could be reduced by soak treatment.

        U-HDTV를 위한 향상된 병렬 비디오 부호화 기법

        Ultra-High Definition Television (U-HDTV) 는 차세대 TV로 불리는 실감 TV의 가장 유망한 요소 기술로 주목 받고 있으며 이를 효과적으로 압축하기 위한 병렬 비디오 부호화 기술 개발의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 기존의 병렬 부호화 기술은 영상을 공간적으로 분할하고 분할비디오 (sub-sequence)를 독립적으로 부호화 하는 방식을 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 분할비디오간의 높은 상호상관 (cross-correlation)을 이용하여 부호화 효율을 향상하는 파이프라인 (pipeline) 구조의 병렬 부 · 복호화기를 제안한다. 실험결과를 통하여 제안하는 기술이 압축 효율을 향상시키며 균일한 화질의 분할비디오를 생성하는 것을 확인한다. Ultra-High Definition Television (U-HDTV) is a promising candidate for the next generation television. Since the U-HDTV video signal requires a huge amount of data, parallel implementation of the U-HDTV compression system is highly demanding. In the conventional parallel video codec, a video is divided into sub-sequences and the sub-sequences are independently encoded. In this paper, for efficient parallel processing, we propose a pipelined encoding structure which exploits cross-correlation among the sub-sequences. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed technique improves the coding efficiency and provides the sub-sequences of the balanced visual quality.

      • 지적 장애인 세례의 신학적 정당성

        This paper is about the baptism of the mentally retarded. Christian baptism primarily requires a catechism to find out whether the candidates receive Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. In finding it out, the catechism is given for those who have intelligibility, not for the people like the mentally retarded who are lack of it. Prof. Choi, Hong Suk, in his lengthy article, “The Theological Legitimacy of Infant Baptism,” argues that the basis of the legitimacy is not intelligibility nor personal faith, but God"s sovereign will and grace. Choi expounds the legitimacy in terms of Reformed theology and covenantal idea. Along with his argument for the legitimacy of infant baptism, this paper argues for the legitimacy of the mentally retarded. Though the baptism doesn"t guarantee the salvation of infants, their parents are required to bring them to the covenantal rite in keeping with the covenantal command and promise of God as Israelites did the circumcision to their male infants. Likewise, the parents could bring their mentally retarded children to the rite according to the command of Lord, “Therefore go and make disciple of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”(Matt. 28:19), though the baptism doesn"t guarantee their salvation. The basis of the legitimacy of the baptism of the mentally retarded is God"s sovereign will and grace in Christ through the Holy Spirit, not their intelligibility and personal faith.

        요한 칼빈의 일반계시 개념과 그 변증학적 의의

        In Christian theology, even in Reformed tradition, the general revelation has been neglected in its theological and apologetical significance, compared to the special revelation, that is, the Scriptures. The reason for this might be that the general revelation is conceived to be not at work for the salvation. However, the Calvinistic heritage is far from being the biblicism which idolizes the Bible by neglecting the significance of the general revelation. It is true that the general revelation is ineffective in salvation of men, yet it doesn't mean that it turns out to be useless in knowing God. Although the natural theology is inadequate, the general revelation is still adequate in knowing God in the sense that no one is able to escape from His revelation clearly shown in the nature, His providence and in human made in His image. Even the fall doesn't invalidate the revelatory nature of the general revelation. It is still God's revelation, which is supposed to stand forever, in spite of the fall. What the fall ruined is not God's revelation in nature and in man, but the nature and man. In this paper I attempted to show that John Calvin renders the great significance to the general revelation. Specially in his Institutes Calvin emphasizes two knowledges that everyone is supposed to have; the knowledge of God and the knowledge of man. He also emphasizes the inescapableness of the general revelation shown in the nature and human mind. But he doesn't forget to emphasize that the sin blinds the sinners, it distorts the knowability of the general revelation, and it makes them deliberately deny the knowledge of the Creator attained by virtue of the revelation. The knowledge by which Calvin means is not an intellectual ability or a speculation, rather a living experience in relationship with God. The knowledge is revelatory in character. That is why Calvin emphasizes the inescapableness of the knowledge of God of men and the ignorance of the non-believers about God at the same time. Thus Calvin's emphasis on the inescapableness of the general revelation has an apologetical significance. A rational proof or experiential evidence is not enough to defend the truth of Christianity because unbelievers are rational enough to deny any proof or evidence. But they can't deny the revelatory knowledge implanted in their minds. Nor can they deny the foundation in which they live, think, and act. They have to rely on the foundation in even denying its existence. Consequently, Calvin's understanding of the general revelation is very effective in defending the Christianity.

        전해산화수를 이용한 김치의 초기 미생물 제어 효과

        김치 제조시 보다 철저한 재료 세척과 이에 따른 김치제품의 초기 미생물제어를 목적으로 전해산화수를 세척매체로 이용하였다. 원료배추를 전해산화수로 1회 세정한 결과 전해산화수를 사용한 처리구는 수도수 처리에 비해 총 균수 및 대장균수가 약 1/2 수준으로 감소됨을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 김치양념에 대한 수도수 및 전해산화수 처리에 따른 미생물수의 차이를 볼 수는 없었으며 이는 주로 양념 중의 고춧가루에 기인하는 것으로 판단되었다. 절임수를 전해산화수로 사용했을 경우 절임수 자체의 총 균수에서는 매우 큰 차이를 나타내어 전해산화수를 사용했을 때가 약 1/270 정도의 수준을 보였다. 절임배추를 전해산화수로 세정한 경우에는 총 균수가 수도수 처리구에 비해 1/16 수준으로 감소하였고 대장균군 및 대장균은 검출되지 않았다. 절임 전후를 비교했을 때 전해산화수를 사용했을 경우에는 절임 후 총 균수가 1/4 수준으로 감소했으며, 대장균군은 거의 완전히 사멸한 것으로 나타난 반면 수도수를 사용한 처리구에서는 총 균수가 오히려 1.7배 정도 증가하였다. 이러한 증가는 제조 공정 중의 2차적인 오염이 그 원인일 것으로 추정되었다. 배추김치의 발효 중 총 균수 변화에 있어서 발효 15일까지는 전해산화수 처리구가 비교적 낮은 총 균수를 나타내었으나 발효 20일경이 지나서는 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 김치 발효 중 PH는 발효 15일까지 다소 차이를 보였으나 20일경부터는 차이가 매우 미미하였으며, 이러한 경향은 산도에서도 유사하여 발효 20일 부터는 거의 차이를 나타내지 않았다. To lessen the initial level of microorganisms, electrolyzed acid-water was used as washing and brine water in the manufacturing process. On the washing and salting processes, application of electrolyzed acid-water showed a possibility to lessen the microorganism level of Chinese cabbage effectively. Microbial level of Chinese cabbage was reduced to about 1/4 level by salting and washing process with electrolyzed acid-water while Chinese cabbage salted with tap water increased to about 1.7 times. And no coliform and E. coli were detected. However significant differences between seasoning mixtures prepared with electrolyzed acid-water and with tap water were not observed in microbial levels. Relatively low level of total count in kimchi prepared with electroyzed acid-water was kept until 15 days of fermentation at 10℃. Any significant difference between them was not observed after 20 days of fermentation. pH and acidity were showed the same tendencies as microbial count.
