        골프참가자의 참여동기와 참여정도 그리고 운동중독의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among participation motivation, degree of participation and exercise addiction in golfers. The subjects for this study totalled 384 golfers(male:265, female:119) participating in golf in seoul and kyeonggi-do. Instruments of this study were used scale for sport participation motivation(Jung, 1997), 3 items(during, frequency, time) for degree of participation, and scale for exercise addiction developed by Sin(2000). The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 15.O statistics package. The following conclusions were drawn. First, there were relationships among participation motivation, degree of participation and exercise addiction in golfers. Second, the participation motivation of golfers had an effect on degree of participation. Third, the degree of participation of golfers had an effect on exercise addiction, Fourth, the participation motivation of golfers had an effect on exercise addiction. In conclusion, there were causal relationships among participation motivation, degree of participation and exercise addiction in golfers.

        Compound K의 인슐린분비 및 탄수화물 대사에 미치는 영향

        진세노사이드의 인슐린 분비 활성을 비교해 본 결과 PPD계열 진세노사이드가 인슐린의 분비를 촉진하는 경향을 보였으며, 그 중에서도 CK의 인슐린 분비 촉진 효과가 가장 뛰어났다. CK는 RIN-m5F cell line과 일차 배양한 췌장 소도세포에서 용량 의존적으로 인슐린의 분비를 촉진하였고 이러한 CK의 인슐린 분비 촉진 기전은 ATP-sensitive K? 채널의 봉쇄에 의한 것임을 확인하였다. H4IIE cell line에서 간세포내 당신생과 관련된 효소의 발현을 측정한 결과 CK는 dexamethasone/cAMP에 의한 PEPCK와 G6Pase의 발현을 억제하였다. 이로 미루어 볼 때, CK는 간에서 당의 신생을 억제하여 공복 시 혈당을 감소시킬 수 있음을 시사하였다. 또한 3T3-L1 cell line에서 TG의 함량과 PPAR-γ 유전자의 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 CK는 PPAR-γ의 발현을 억제하여 결과 지방세포의 분화를 억제하였다. 결론적으로 CK는 췌장에서 ATP-sensitive K? channel을 봉쇄함으로 인슐린 분비를 촉진시키고 또한 간세포에서 당 신생을 억제함으로 식후 및 공복 시 혈당을 감소시킬 것으로 기대된다. Compound K (CK) is a final metabolite of panaxadiol ginsenosides. Although panax ginseng is known to have anti-diabetic activity, the active ingredient is not yet fully identified. Therefore, it would be interesting to know whether and how CK has an anti-diabetic activity. First, insulin secretion-stimulating activity of CK was examined using RIN-m5F cell line and primary cultured islets. CK enhanced the insulin secretion in a concentration dependent manner. This effect, however, was almost completely abolished in the presence of diazoxide, K? channel opener, indicating that the insulin secretion-stimulating activity of CK is presumably due to blockade of ATP sensitive K? channel. In addition, effects of CK on gene expressions of hepatic enzymes (phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase[PEPCK], glucose-6-phosphatase[G6Pase]) and on adipocyte differentiation in H4IIE and 3T3-L1 cells, respectively, were examined. CK suppressed the induction of PEPCK and G6Pase mRNA expressions under the dexamethasone/cAMP stimulation condition. CK also reduced the PPAR-γ mRNA expression and triglyceride accumulation in a dose dependent manner as compared to the control. The present study suggests that CK deserves to examine whether it shows an anti-diabetic activity in animal and human studies.

        IT Governance의 전략적 가치와 도입 저해 요인에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 IT Governance의 전략적 가치와 도입 저해 요인에 관한 연구이다. 최근 정보기술의 급속한 진전과 함께 IT를 얼마나 효과적으로 기업 경영에 활용할 것인지가 경영혁신의 관건이 되고 있다. 이에 따라 IT를 경영전략과 연계하여 유효하게 활용할 수 있는 기업 내부의 메커니즘을 어떻게 구축할 것인지가 하나의 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 또한 IT를 어떻게 효과적으로 관리하여 각종 컴플라이언스(The Sarbanes - Oxley Act, Basel II 등)를 포함한 IT로부터 야기되는 경영상의 위험을 관리할 수 있으며, 기업 IT 자산을 효과적으로 관리하여 경영 효율을 극대화시킬 수 있는가에 대한 노력이 선택이 아닌 기업 생존과 직결되는 필수 활동으로 부각되고 있는 것이다. 반면, 국내에서는 아직 IT Governance의 전략적 필요성에 대한 인식 확산이 더디고 도입이 늦어지고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 우선, 주요 IT Governance 연구기관과 IT 컨설팅 전문가 그룹에서 제시한 IT Governance의 개념과 전략적 가치, 시장 현황 등을 알아보고 IT Governance의 전략적 효용가치 대비 확산속도가 더딘 점에 초점을 맞추어 IT Governance의 도입 저해요인을 알아보고자 하였다. This study is intended to show how strategically important IT Governance is and what hinders its introduction to the Korean firms. Recently, with the rapid development of information technology, finding out more efficient way to apply IT emerged as a critical issue in the context of management innovation. Although the importance of IT application has been emphasized since the 1980s, how to build the internal mechanism supporting the efficient usage of IT inside of the firm in the respect of management strategy became an inportant question only lately. On the contrary, in the Korean society, people`s recognition on the strategic importance of IT Governance has been spread out rather slowly. In this research, we performed the following two tasks. First, we surveyed the concept of IT Governance and its strategic value and marketability that the major research institutes and experts have developed so far. Second, we at-tempted to figure out what made the Korean firms hesitate to introduce IT Governance to their real management, depite its well-understood strategic usefulness.

        RAMS+를 이용한 하천에서 오염물질의 2차원 체류시간 분포 모델링

        With the recent industrial development, accidental pollution in riverine environments has frequently occurred. It is thus necessary to simulate pollutant transport and dispersion using water quality models for predicting pollutant residence times. In this study, we conducted a field experiment in a meandering reach of the Sum River, South Korea, to validate the field applicability and prediction accuracy of RAMS+ (River Analysis and Modeling System+), which is a two-dimensional (2D) stream flow/water quality analysis program. As a result of the simulation, the flow analysis model HDM-2Di and the water quality analysis model CTM-2D-TX accurately simulated the 2D flow characteristics, and transport and mixing behaviors of the pollutant tracer, respectively. In particular, CTM-2D-TX adequately reproduced the elongation of the pollutant cloud, caused by the storage effect associated with local low-velocity zones. Furthermore, the transport model effectively simulated the secondary flow-driven lateral mixing at the meander bend via 2D dispersion coefficients. We calculated the residence time for the critical concentration, and it was elucidated that the calculated residence times are spatially heterogeneous, even in the channel-width direction. The findings of this study suggest that the 2D water quality model could be the accidental pollution analysis tool more efficient and accurate than one-dimensional models, which cannot produce the 2D information such as the 2D residence time distribution.

        db/db 마우스에서 IH-901의 항 당뇨 활성

        The pharmacological properties of ginseng are mainly attributed to ginsenosides, the active constituents that are found in the extracts of different species of ginseng. Lately; the studies on ginsenosides are mainly focused on IH-901, a major intestinal bacterial metabolite of ginsenosides. In this study; we examined the anti-diabetic activity of IH-901 in C57BU61 db/db mice model. IH-901 was administrated orally at a dose of 20 mg/kg for 5 weeks. During the experimental period, body weight and blood glucose levels were measured every week. After 5 weeks, db/db mice were sacrificed and diabetic parameters were analyzed. IH-901 treated group showed a significant decrease in fasting blood glucose levels (from 10.5 mM to 9.4 mM), insulin resistance index (from 163.6 to 100.2) and triglyceride levels (from 115.3 to 70.1) compared to the diabetic control. In Pancreatic islets morphology; IH-901 treated group revealed much less infltrated mononuclear cells, indicating that IH-901 recovered ${\beta}$-cell damage due to hyperglycemia. In addition, IH-901 upregulated expressions of glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) and PPAR-${\gamma}$ in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue, respectively. Taken together IH-901might be a potential anti-hyperglycemic agent with insulin sensitizing effect.

        긴삼의 db/db 마우스에서 항당뇨 효과

        Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic and hard to control disease. In order to develop the therapeutic agent for type 2 DM, many researchers investigated natural products using an in vitro and in vivo assay. In this study, we tried to explore the anti-diabetic activity and mechanisms of ginsam, which is a vinegar-processed ginseng radix. The db/db mice were randomly divided into four groups. The diabetes control (DC) group was orally administrated with distilled water, ginseng radix (GR) or ginsam (GS) was administrated orally at a dose of 150 mg/kg, and the positive control group was orally injected with metformin (MET) at a dose of 300 mg/kg for 5 weeks in db/db mice and measured body weight and blood glucose level every week. All treatment groups decreased the plasma glucose levels compared with diabetic control and GS group significantly lowered the insulin resistance index. GS group also reduced the plasma lipid levels mainly due to reduce the lipogenesis and increase the lipolysis in the fat tissue. In addition, GS group increased the GLUT4 mRNA expression levels in the fat and muscle tissues by 10 fold probably due to increase a $PPAR_{-\gamma}$ mRNA expression in fat tissue. Taken together, GS showed the anti-hyperglycemic and anti-hyperlipidemic activities and those activities may ascribe to over-expression of GLUT4 mRNA level and decrease the lipogenesis in fat tissue.

        지역 특성에 따른 주민의 혈중 Pb 농도와 요중 Cotinine의 농도

        The National Institute of Environmental Research (3rd KONEHs) conducted a survey of 280 residents in Ulsan, Suwon and Asan, and the concentration of heavy metals in the blood and urine were also analyzed. In case of blood lead concentration, Ulsan 2.27 ㎍/㎗, Suwon 2.08 ㎍/㎗, and Asan 1.75 ㎍/㎗, the high peak in Ulsan, and the low peak in Asan. In case of cotinine concentration, Ulsan smoking(609.16 ㎍/g_ct) is higher than nonsmoking(74.07 ㎍/g_ct), as Suwon and Asan smoking(416.72 ㎍/g_ct, 903.21 ㎍/g_ct) is higher than nonsmoking(72.72 ㎍/g_ct, 18.06 ㎍/g_ct), smoking group is higher than nonsmoking group in all areas revealed statistically significant correlation(p<0.01). In considering results synthetically, these study results are an aid to constructing environmental health science-side heavy metal management measure education programs for normal residents.
