청소년의 재가출: 경제적 배경과 사회유대의 영향을 중심으로

Runaway recidivism among youths is a serious issue because adolescents repetitively run away can be involved with even more serious problems. Developing an understanding of the precursors of runaway recidivism among youths is an essential step in the development of effective preventive efforts to decrease the likelihood of repetitive runaways among youths. The present study examines the effects of economic status and social bonding on recidivism of runaway behaviors among youths. Specifically, the study empirically tests 1) how runaway experiences during middle school, economic status, and attachment with parents or teachers influence on runaway during high school and 2) how economic status and attachment with parents or teachers influence on the relationship between runaway experience during middle school and runaway during highschool. Results of logistic regression analysis showed that runaway during middle school had a positive effect on runaway during high school, and the effect was moderated by the levels of attached with teachers. Results of zero-inflated negative binomial regression analysis revealed that the effect of runaway during middle school on the number of runaway episodes during high school was moderated by economic status. The current study`s findings suggests that economic status and social bonding are significant socio-environmental factors of recidivism of runaway behavior among youths. Implications for the development of effective measures to decrease the likelihood of repetitive runaways among youths are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to explore the conception of educational community in elementary school teachers, based on empirical analysis. In doing so, this study provided a better understanding of educational community in elementary schools, and suggestions for future research. 45 items for testing drawn by literature review were performed with 411 teachers of elementary schools in Busan and Kyung-Sang providence. Item data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. As the result, it was shown that the conception of educational community consists of 4 factors through the factor analysis, that is relational care, democratic participation, shared vision, and solidarity-based cooperation. The four factors are interpreted that, for building an educational community in elementary schools, relational care provides a basis to vitalize democratic participation, shared vision, and solidarity-based cooperation. Based on the review, findings and implications are discussed.
