Objective: Histopathologic evaluation has been used to evaluate the degree of hepatic fibrosis. This method may have limitations because percutaneous liver biopsy is invasive and histopathologic change shows heterogenicity in the liver. It has been reported that the biochemical markers may have an important role in evaluating the degree of hepatic fibrosis. This study was performed to evaluate the clinical significances of serum hyaluronic acid(HA) and type IV collagen(IV-C) levels on hepatic fibrosis in the patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and liver cirrhosis. Methods: This study included fifty eight patients with chronic viral liver diseases caused by HBV. Scheuer`s classification was used to determine the degree of hepatic fibrosis. The levels of hyaluronic acid and type IV collagen was evaluated by one-step sandwich binding protein assay and one-step sandwich enzyme immunoassay respectively. Results: The level of hyaluronic acid and type IV collagen in stage III(HA:589.4±193.7ng/ml, IV-C:444.5±221.3ng/ml) and IV(727.5±306.1ng/ml, IV-C:5192±210.5ng/ml) were higher than stage I(HA:207.2±206.8ng/ml, IV-C:210.0±92.0ng/ml) and II(HA:223.7±172.9ng/ml, IV- C:209.6±70.7ng/ml) in the patients with chronic viral hepatitis and cirrhosis. At cutoff value of 500ng/ml for HA and 250ng/ml for IV-C in chronic hepatitis B patients, the sensitivities were 85% and 85%, and specificities were 89.5% and 78.9%, and diagnostic efficiencies were 87.9% and 81% respectively for discriminating patients with advanced hepatic fibrosis(stageIII-IV) from those with mild hepatic fibrosis(stageI-II). Conclusion: The serum levels of hyaluronic acid and type IV collagen correlated significantly with the degree of hepatic fibrosis in the patients with chronic viral hepatitis B and cirrhosis. The serum hyaluronic acid and type IV collagen is useful biochemical markers for evaluating hepatic fibrosis and follow up of the patients with chronic viral hepatitis H and cirrhosis.

Maglev vehicles levitated and propelled by electromagnet as non-contact between vehicle and guide rail is environmentally friendly transport system which have many advantages like ride comfort and guide way construction costs. As a goal of commercial operation at Incheon International Airport in 2012, development of vehicle is underway and proto-vehicle is test running at KIMM. The maglev bogie system of proto-vehicle, like railway vehicle, has functions to support weight of vehicle, transfer force of brake and propulsion and improve ride comfort through insulation of vibration and improve curve negotiation capability. The main components of a bogie are two modules consisted of electromagnetic, frame and linear motor, two tie beams to connect two modules and steering system to improve curve negotiation capability. The purpose of this paper is to describe general specification, structure, manufacturing process, performance testing, ride comfort of proto-vehicle and bogie system.

In vitro and in vivo antibacterial activities of DWQ-013(1-cyclopropyl-6,8-difluoro-7-(3-methylthiomethylpyrrolidinyl)-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid), a new fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent, were compared with those of ciprofloxacin, sparfloxacin and ofloxacin against aerobic and anaerobic standard strains and clinical isolates. DWQ-013 had a broad spectrum and potent antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The antibacterial activity of DWQ-013 against Staphylococcus aureus was equal to that of sparfloxacin(SPFX) and superior to those of ciprofloxacin(CPFX). The antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria was slightly lower than those of ciprofloxacin and sparfloxacin. MIC of DWQ-013 against Pseudomonas aeruginosa(0.781- 1.563mcg/ml) was usually equal to that of sparfloxacin(O.781mcg/ml) and was inferior to that of ciprofloxacin(O.098mcg/ml). The number of viable cells was decreased rapidly after addition of DWQ-013 at concentration of 1-2 folds of MIC.
특목고의 학교단위책임경영제에 대한 탐색적 진단 : 체육고등학교를 중심으로

이 연구는 학교단위 책임경영에 대한 진단과 향후 학교단위 책임경영제의 효율적 운영방안을 모색하고자 고등학교 교직원 및 교육기관 관계자를 대상으로 Q방법을 활용하여 학교단위 운영 현황에 대한 진단결과를 유형화하여 비교분석하였다. 분석과정은 문헌자료 및 고등학교 교직원 및 교육관계자를 대상으로 심층면접(depth interview)을 실시하여 학교단위 운영 현황에 대한 진술(statements)을 수집하고, 이들을 5개 영역의 총 29개 진술문(Q표본)으로 추출하였다. 진술문을 바탕으로 32명의 응답자(P표본)를 대상으로 Q분류를 실시한 결과 다음과 같이 두 가지의 유형으로 나타났다. 분석을 위한 응답자(P표본)는 체육고등학교 교직원과 일반고등학교 교사 및 장학사로 구성하였다. 첫째, <유형1>은 「평가체제진단형」이라 명명하였는데, 교사의 전문성 및 노력, 학교장 리더십의 중요성, 특목고와 일반고의 차별화 교육과정 등에 대하여 전반적으로 높은 긍정적인 현황을 나타냈다. 반면에 학교단위의 평가시스템에 대하여 부정적인 진단을 통하여 그 문제점을 제기하였다. <유형2>는 「인사체계진단형」으로 명명하였다. 이는 <유형1>과 같이 교사 및 학교장의 운영, 특목고와 일반고의 차별화된 교육과정에 대하여 긍정적인 반면에 학교인사시스템, 학교장의 구성원에 대한 의사결정 기회 부여, 특수교사에 대한 인센티브제도 등에 대하여 부정적으로 진단하였다. The aim of this study is to review the current ``school-based management,`` and suggest a more efficient plan for the school-based management. To achieve the goal, high school teachers and corresponding education institute officials were subjected to this study. The research result of the school-based management review was classified into pattern for a comparison analysis based on Q-Method. The analysis process was as follows. First, previous studies of this subject were reviewed and a depth interview was conducted with high school teachers and corresponding education institute officials. Second, statements on the current state of the school-based management were collected based on the interview, and they were processed into 29 statements(Q sample) under five categories. Based on the statements, 32 respondents(P sample) were subjected to Q sorting and the result yielded two patterns. The respondents for this analysis(P sample) were composed of the teachers in high school specializing in physical education, teachers in general high school, and school inspectors. The first pattern(Pattern 1) was named ``evaluation system diagnosis`` in which professionalism and committment of teachers, weight of the principal`s leadership, and distinctive curriculum of the specialized high school from that of the general high school were evaluated positively in general. On the other hand, a negative diagnosis on the evaluation system of the school-based management was made, hence addressing a problem. The second pattern(Pattern 2) was named ``personnel system diagnosis`` in which management of teachers and school principal, and distinctive curriculum of the specialized high school from that of the general high school were evaluated positively, as in the pattern I, whereas school personnel management system, teacher participation on a decision making granted by a school principal, and incentive system for a teacher with speciality were reviewed negatively.

According to the Fire Statistical Yearbook, Electric arcs, such as ignition sources, are a high proportion in Korean fire accidents. Because it is important to detect the arcs prior to the fire accidents, sensors and frequency analysis have been studied to detect them. The arc detection techniques based on the sensors and frequency analysis are limited in location search and reliability in arc detection, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to study an improved technique for detecting the arc. This paper proposes an arc detection technique that can improve the location search and the low reliability in the arc detection using the voltage fluctuations. The experiments were conducted to obtain the voltage fluctuations from the measured voltage waveforms under conditions with or without an arc for the loads defined in IEC 62606, thereby checking the presence of the arc. We confirmed that the proposed arc detection technique can detect a series arc in electric equipment.

열벽적층성장법으로 ZnS 및 ZnTe 단결정 박막을 GaAs(100)와 GaP(100) 기판에 성장하였다. 성장한 박막의 방향성 및 결정성을 알아보기 위하여 X-ray 회절과 이중 결정 요동 곡선(DCRC)을 측정하였다. 성장한 박막은 (100) 방향의 zinc-blende 구조를 갖는 단결정임을 알았다. ZnTe 단결정 박막은 93 arcsec의 아주 좋은 DCRC 반치폭 값을 얻었고 ZnS 단결정 박막도 매우 양호한 결과를 얻었다. 두께에 따른 DCRC 반치폭의 변화로부터 단결정 박막 내에 남아있는 스트레인은 격자부정합에 의한 영향뿐만 아니라 열팽창계수 차이에 의한 것도 있음을 알았다. ZnS and ZnTe epilayers were grown on GaAs(100) and GaP(100) substrates by hot-wall epitaxy. X-ray diffraction revealed that the epilayers have zinc-blende structure and were grown in (100) direction. The small values of the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of double crystal rocking curve (DCRC) showed high quality of the epilayers. From the thickness dependence of the FWHM of DCRC, the strain remaining in films is found to be due to the thermal expansion difference as well as due to the lattice mismatch.
라니티딘을 함유한 새로운 위장질환 치료용 의약조성물(DWP302)의 약물동태

The pharmacokinetics of DWP302, a new combined ranitidine preparation in rats and dogs was studied using HPLC. DWP302 was composed of ranitidine, sucralfate and tripotassium dicitrato bismuthate. Especially, this study was focused on the possibilities that the concomitant administration of either sucralfate or TDB may affect the absorption of orally administered ranitidine. Ranitidine and DWP302 were orally administered to rats at a dose of ranitidine 10mg/kg. Several rats showed the biphasic peak of plasma concentration. AUCs0-8 of ranitidine and DWP302 group were found to be 1040 +/- 109 and 945 +/- 124ng.hr/ml, respectively, and there was no significant difference between both AUCs. In a cross-over study for dogs, Cmax t1/2 beta and total AUC of ranitidine group were found to be 625.8 +/- 86.7ng/ml, 2.80 +/- 0.28 hr and 1688 +/- 127ng.hr/ml, and those of DWP302 group were 562.6 +/- 120.9ng/ml, 3.05 +/- 0.30 hr and 1673 +/- 123ng.hr/ml, respectively. There was no significant difference between those parameters, but Tmax of DWP302 group (1.69 +/- 0.31 hr) was significantly different from ranitidine group (1.13 +/- 0.26 hr). The results suggest that either sucralfate or TDB may affect the lag-time or rate of absorption of ranitidine but not the extent of absorption.
