A pressure measurement system was developed to verify magnitude and position of transferred pressure on the body surface during the intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) which is one of the most well-known methods for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Eighty force sensing resistors (FSR) were arranged on a mannequin leg and a hardware controller sensed, digitized, and transferred pressure data every second while IPC was being applied. Finally, sensed pressure data were color coded and visualized on the 3D model with lab-developed software. The pressure data were also saved to files for further analysis. Using this measurement system, the changing pattern of pressure was measured on the mannequin leg by changing both chamber pressure and cuff tightness. As a result, net pressure transferred onto the body surface is dependent on chamber pressure and cuff tightness. Under the same chamber pressure, the tighter a cuff was worn, the wider compressed area was and the shorter compression cycle was. Also transferred pressure was proportional to both chamber pressure and cuff tightness.
현장에서 가축질병을 진단하기 위한 CRISPR/Cas 시스템의 활용

최근, 국내에서 발생하는 대가축의 질병은 바이러스 혹은 세균 등과 같은 병원체가 사료 섭취, 가축 간의 신체접촉, 호흡 등 다양한 경로를 통해 전파되어 발병되는 전염성 질병이다. 전염성 질병은 가축의 건강을 위협하고 생산성을 감소시키기 때문에 현장에서 조기 진단하여 개체 격리와 같은 통제 관리가 필수적이다. 기존 사용되고 있는 진단 키트들은 현장에서 사용하기에 용이하지 않으며 극소량의 감도에서 진단이 제한적인 단점을 가지고 있다. 그러므로, 현장에서 극소량의 감도와 진단의 편이성을 고려하여 DNA와 RNA 수준에서 진단할 수 있는 CRISPR/Cas 시스템은 최적의 시스템이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구논문에서는 대가축의 전염성 질병들을 현장에서 조기 진단함에 있어 CRISPR/Cas 시스템의 활용전략에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 최근 발견된 CRISPR/Cas 효소들은 2개의 클래스와 6가지 하위유형으로 분류되었다. 이 중에서 클래스 2에 포함되는 Cas 효소들은 대표적으로 제 2형에 Cas9, 제 5형에 Cas12a와 Cas12b, 제 6형에 Cas13a와 Cas13b가 있다. 현재까지 개발된 CRISPR/Cas 시스템들은 간단한 시각 신호를 통해 표적에 대한 정량 및 다중 감지가 가능하고 특히, 극소량 수준의 초고감도에서도 표적만을 진단할 수 있으며 단시간 이내에 진단 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 하지만 초고감도 DNA 혹은 RNA를 진단하기 위해 최적의 신호 증폭 방법과 결합되어야 하고 표적 DNA 혹은 RNA를 진단에 적합하도록 DNA를 RNA로, RNA를 DNA로 전변해야 하는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 현장에서 대가축의 전염성 질병을 조기에 진단할 수 있는 CRISPR/Cas 바이오센서를 개발하는데 있어 가축의 전염 매개체로부터 추출되는 병원체 유형(DNA 혹은 RNA)을 고려하여 최적의 Cas 효소를 선정하여야 하고 이에 따른 적절한 신호 증폭 방법이 결합되어야 한다. 따라서, CRISPR/Cas 시스템은 유전자 편집 방법을 사용하는 빠르고 효율적인 진단 도구이며 이 시스템은 소의 전염병을 조기에 진단하고 감염 확산방지에 도움될 수 있을 것으로 판단 되어진다. Recently, cattle epidemic diseases are caused by a pathogen such as a virus or bacterium. Such diseases can spread through various pathways, such as feed intake, respiration, and contact between livestock. Diagnosis based on the ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) and PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) methods has limitations because these traditional diagnostic methods are time consuming assays that require multiple steps and dedicated equipment. In this review, we propose the use of the CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) Cas system based on DNA and RNA levels for early point-of-care diagnosis in cattle. In the CRISPR/Cas system, Cas effectors are classified into two classes and six subtypes. The Cas effectors included in class 2 are typically Cas9 in type II, Cas12 in type V (Cas12a and Cas12b) and Cas13 in type VI (Cas13a and Cas13b). The CRISPR/Cas system uses reporter molecules that are attached to the ssDNA strands. When the Cas enzyme cuts the ssDNA, these reporters either fluoresce or change color, indicating the presence of a specific disease marker. There are several steps in the development of a CRISPR/Cas system. The first is to select the Cas enzyme depending on DNA or RNA from pathogens (viruses or bacteria). Based on that, the next step is to integrate the optimal amplification, transducing method, and signal reporter. The CRISPR/Cas system is a powerful diagnostic tool using a gene-editing method, which is faster, better, and cheaper than traditional methods. This system could be used for early diagnosis of epidemic cattle diseases and help to control their spread.
최인훈 희곡의 환상성 연구 - <둥둥 낙랑둥>을 중심으로 -

This paper has revealed the meaning and intention of Choi`s drama called Doong Doong Nanglangdoong by approaching fantasy, a crucial characteristic of the piece, with respect to its aspect of plot, aspect of character, and its fantastic technique. From the perspective of its plot, Doong Doong Nanglangdoong creates fantasy as characters cross between real and non-real realities. The fantasy created by the fantastical world contains metonymic meanings of life, death, illusion, and the unconscious mind, and the meanings contrast and co-exist with the real world. Such plot of fantastic narrative that crosses between reality and fantasy makes fantastical scenes. This proves to be the principle of creation that reflects the author`s view of reality. In terms of the characters, I examined the portrayal of characters and their psychological states through Ho-dong who experiences fantasy and through the Queen who is not able to self-identify due to her many personas. Fantasy is a detailed image of unconsciousness that is expressed outside. Ho-dong`s experiencing fantasy is the unconscious manifestation of Ho-dong`s psychological state, that is, the confused state of consciousness. Ho-dong`s unconsciousness filled with excessive guilt causes the Princess` fantasy. In this context, he experiences more confusion as seen by the fact that he mistakes the Queen for the Princess. The Queen is also confused by the complex psychology of Ho-dong, which blurs the line between reality and unreality. This complicated psychological states of the characters crisscrossing between consciousness and unconsciousness lead to the creation of fantasy. The play scene led by the Queen is also a technique that meets the fantastical element of the drama. The play scene at Nanglang Castle in which Ho-dong and the Princess had previously made love is not the current Kokuryeo Palace but the old Nanglang Castle. A player`s reenacting a virtual reality using time and space in itself retains fantasy. However, the play scene serves as the basis for fantasy in that the Queen`s complex psychological states towards Ho-dong is projected all the while consciousness and unconsciousness appear disturbed. This paper has found that fantasy is a prominent element of Choi In-Hoon`s Doong Doong Nanglangdoong through its fantastic technique entailing the drama`s plot, characters and play scene. This reveals Choi In-Hoon`s unique drama aesthetics. However, the fantasy of Choi In-Hoon`s plays will only be wholly identified when the study is expanded further to encompass linguistic elements (poetic dialogue, stage direction, silence, monologue, stutter) and non-linguistic elements (sight, hearing, objet) that are found in Choi`s other plays as well.

The digital three dimensional (3D) real object duplication system (RODS) consist of a optical 3D scanner and a solid freeform fabrication (SFF) system for office type. It can scan a 3D object rapidly, transmit data to other system and reproduce the copy thereof rapidly. In this research, full automatic 3D scanner and SFF system was developed. The 3D scanner has the motion stage of four axes. And the SFF system developed based on three dimensional printing (3DP) process. Also, the performance of developed system was evaluated. As the result, the duplication error of part was 300,㎛(X), 300,㎛ (Y), and 800,㎛(Z) respectively.
