In this paper, CMOS image sensor(CIS) with hybrid single slope ADC is presented. To realize small size and high precision CIS, subranging technique is applied with no holding capacitor to reduce area. Proposed hybrid ADC operates subranging ADC(coarse) and Single Slope ADC(fine). Based on 1-Poly 5-Metal 90nm back side illuminated(BSI) CIS process, the chip satisfies 1920 × 1440 pixel resolution whose pitch is 1.4um and 1.75-Tr active pixel sensor(APS)
놀이중심 교육과정의 자유놀이시간에 나타난 만 4세반 유아들의 놀이양상 탐구

본 연구의 목적은 놀이중심 교육과정의 자유놀이시간에 나타난 유아들의 놀이양상을 탐구함으로써 놀이의 특징과 의미를 깊이 이해하고 유아교육현장의 놀이지원 방향에 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2020년 2학기가 시작되는 9월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 3개월 동안 경기도 A시에 위치한 B유치원의 만 4세 푸른반 유아들의 자유놀이시간에 나타나는 놀이양상을 탐구하였다. 자료수집과 분석은 교사 심층면담, 놀이 영상 및 사진, 교사 참여관찰 기록, 교육과정 관련 자료 등을 수집하여 분석하였다. 본 연구는 코로나 19라는 특수한 상황에서 수행된 연구로서 유아들의 교실 내 참여관찰이 불가능하였다. 이에 연구자들은 교사와의 심층면담과 유아들의 자유놀이 영상과 사진, 교사의 관찰기록에 대한 심층적인 분석을 통해 유아들의 놀이를 이해하고 양상을 파악하고자 노력하였다. 연구 결과, 푸른반 유아들의 놀이양상은 ‘하나의 재료로 다른 놀이 창안하기’, ‘한 두 유아의 놀이가 친구들과 함께 하는 놀이로 변화되기’, ‘지속적으로 연결되고 확장되는 놀이’, ‘우연한 배움의 기회’로 나타났다. 연구결과를 기초로 유아교육현장의 놀이지원 방향에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to deeply understand the characteristics and meaning of play by exploring the play patterns of young children in free play time in the play-centered curriculum, and to provide implications for the direction of play support in the early childhood education field. To this end, for three months from September 1 to November 30, the start of the second semester of 2020, we explored the play patterns that appear in the free play time of 4-year-old blue class children at B Kindergarten located in A city, Gyeonggi-do. Data collection and analysis was conducted by collecting and analyzing in-depth teacher interviews, play videos and photos, records of teacher participation observations, and curriculum related data. This study was conducted in a special situation called Corona 19, and it was impossible to observe children s participation in the classroom. Accordingly, the researchers tried to understand children s play and understand the patterns of data such as in-depth interviews with teachers, images and photographs of children s free play, and observation records of teachers. As a result of the study, the play pattern of the children in the blue class was found to be the creation of another play with one material, the change of one or two children s play into play with friends, play that is continuously connected and expanded, and opportunities for accidental learning. Based on the research results, implications for the direction of teachers play support in early childhood education were suggested.
UWB 시스템에서 입사각 추정기의 효율적인 하드웨어 구조 설계

본 논문에서는 2개의 안테나를 사용하는 MB-OFDM UWB시스템에서, MUSIC 알고리듬에 기초한 입사각 추정기의 효율적인 하드웨어 구조에 대한 설계 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방식에서는 기존 알고리듬의 연산 수식을 변형하여 기존 알고리듬에서 요구하는 복잡한 연산기능을 제거하였으며, 따라서 제안된 방식이 기존과 거의 유사한 성능을 가지면서도 하드웨어복잡도 및 연산소비전력을 크게 줄일 수 있었다. 제안된 구조는 Verilog HDL을 이용하여 설계 및 검증되었으며, 하드웨어 복잡도 및 소비전력 측정을 위해 각각 0.13um CMOS 라이브러리와 Xilinx FPGA로 구현되었다. 게이트카운트 및 소비전력을 측정한 결과, 원래의 MUSIC 알고리듬을 그대로 구현한 방식과 비교하여, 게이트카운트에서는 약 43%, 소비전력에서는 약 23%가 감소되었을 확인할 수 있었다. This paper proposes a cost-effective architecture design of an angle-of-arrival (AOA) estimator based on the multiple signal identification and classification (MUSIC) algorithm in UWB systems adapting Multi-band OFDM (MB-OFDM) techniques with two-receive antennas. In the proposed method, by modifying the equations of algorithm in order to remove the high computational functions, the computation power can be significantly reduced without significant performance degradation. The proposed architecture is designed and verified by Verilog HDL, and implemented into 0.13um CMOS standard cell and Xilinx FPGA circuits for the estimation of hardware complexity and computation power. From the results of the implementations, we can find that the proposed circuits reduces the hardware complexity by about 43% and the estimated computation power by about 23%, respectively, compared to the architecture employing the original MUSIC algorithm.
Analysis of Concept Mapping of Early Childhood Teachers’ Perception on Happiness in Young Children

This study aimed to identify teachers’ perception of young children’s happiness by concept mapping. A total of 16 early childhood teachers were selected as participants. They categorized and rated their own thoughts on the focus question. Based on this, multidimensional scale analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis were conducted. The results were as follows. First, 42 final statements were generated as early childhood teachers' perception for young children’s happiness, and these were divided into two dimensions: interpersonal relations-young child individual, and external factors-internal factors through multidimensional scale analysis. In addition, through cluster analysis, they were classified into five groups: “happiness to feel together,” “happiness through play,” “joy and happiness of activities,” “happiness from freedom,” and “joy and happiness of achievement.” Second, as for the fitness for each group, “happiness to feel together” showed the highest goodness of fit, and the statements “when you play as much as you want to be free” and “when you feel loved by mother and father” showed high goodness of fit. The results of this study may provide implications for the direction of teacher education and the practice of effective education for the enhancement of young children’s happiness.
