육미지황탕 가미방 투여로 호전된 소아 재발성 혈뇨 1례

Objectives The purpose of this case study is to report the effect of Yukmijihwangtang-gamibang on recurrent hematuria in childhood. Methods The subject was a male child with macroscopic hematuria. This patient was only treated with oriental herbal medicine. The improvement was observed by subjective symptoms and routine urinalysis. Results After the treatment with Yukmijihwangtang-gamibang, the symptoms of macroscopic hematuria were relieved. The occult blood test was negative as well. The number of red blood cells in urine was within the normal range. He was less tired but hematuria did not recur even after intense exercise. Conclusions This study showed that Korean medical treatment with using herbal medicine such as Yukmijihwangtanggamibang can be an effective treatment option for asymptomatic macroscopic hematuria.

한국어최적상호명코퍼스설계에관한연구

In this paper, we obtain an optimal corpus that can represent its characteristics very well from the baseline corpus which consists of unique 1,566,943 names among company names in a directory assistance serve (114). Two kinds of optimal solutions ared considered to obtain the optimal corpus. The first solution is to find phonetically balanced corpus (PBC), which are the minimum set including all possible triphones in the baseline corpus. The second solution is to find the phonetically distributed corpus (PDC), which is a minimum set representing the frequency characteristics of triphones in the baseline corpus. We can obtain 8,699 words as the PBC and 16,783 words (similarity measure R = 0.92) as PDC, respectively. These corpora can be used for the development of speech recognition and speech synthesis. 본 논문에서는 114 안내시스템에 저장되어있는 서로 중복되어 있지 않는 1,566,943개의 상호명 코퍼스에서 이 코퍼스의 특징을 가장 잘 표현 해 줄 수 있는 최적 코퍼스를 설계하였다. 최적 코퍼스를 구하기 위해 두 단계의 방식을 택한다. 일 단계는 기본코퍼스에 존재하는 트라이폰이 모두 나타내는 최소의 단어 셋을 구하는 최적 음소균형 코퍼스 셋이고 다음 단계는 기본코퍼스에 존재하는 트라이폰의 빈번도를 고려하는 최소의 단어 셋을 구하는 음소 분포코퍼스 셋을 설계하였다. 실험 결과 최적 음소 균형 셋으로 8,699단어가 선정되었으며 최적 음소 분포 균형 셋으로 16,783 단어가 선정되었다. 이러한 최적 코퍼스는 음성 및 합성 시스템을 위한 음성데이터베이스를 구축 할 때 이용된다.

한방병원에 내원한 부비동염 환아의 연령 분석 및 임상 유형 분류

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze sinusitis patients who visited the department of pediatrics, OO Korean medicine hospital by using their age and to classify the clinical type by Korean medical theory. Methods The study was conducted based on 178 cases that consisted of sinusitis patients (from 1 to 15 years old) who visited OO Korean medicine hospital from March 2014 to March 2015. We analyzed the age of patients and classified them by the clinical type by reviewing patient's charts. After that, we compared the results with the results of previous studies. Results and Conclusions 178 Patients were studied. 2-years-age group was 19.7% of the study group which was higher than that of previous studies. The Lung-Kidney Yin Deficiency (肺腎陰虛) group was 33.1%, Wind-Heat (風熱) group was 29.8% and the Wind-Cold (風寒) group 18.5%, Spleen-Lung Qi Deficiency (脾肺氣虛) group was 15.7% and the Heart-Spleen Qi Deficiency (心脾氣虛) group was 2.8% of the study group. Children are full of Yang but lack of Yin (陽常有餘陰常不足) so they easily transform into heat and fire (化熱化火). The patients who had sinusitis were most likely to suffer from the common cold for more than a week, once a month. 45.1% of the people from the study group was suffered from common cold more than a week, and 43.8% of the people got common cold once a months. About 21.6 % and 18.3% of the people got common cold twice a month and once every 2 months, respectively. The remaining 15.7% got cold during the season changes.

Analysis of Charge Injection and Contact Resistance as a Function of Electrode Surface Treatment in Ambipolar Polymer Transistors

Ambipolar organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) have both of holeand electron enhancements in charge transport. The characteristics ofconjugated diketopyrrolopyrrole ambipolar OFETs depend on themetal-contact surface treatment for charge injection. To investigate thecharge-injection characteristics of ambipolar transistors, these devicesare processed via various types of self-assembled monolayer treatmentsand annealing. We conclude that treatment by the self-assembledmonolayer 1-decanethiol gives the best enhancement of electron chargeinjection at both 100 and 300 °C annealing temperature. In addition, the contact resistance is calculated by using two methods:One is the gated four-point probe (gFPP) method that gives the voltage drop between channels, and the other is the simultaneouscontact resistance extraction method, which extracts the contact resistance from the general transfer curve. We confirm that thegFPP method and the simultaneous extraction method give similar contact resistance, which means that we can extract contactresistance from the general transfer curve without any special contact pattern. Based on these characteristics of ambipolar p- andn-type transistors, we fabricate inverter devices with only one active layer.

곽향정기산가미방(藿香正氣散加味方) 투여로 호전된 아데노이드 비대 치험 1례

Objectives The purpose of this case study is to report the effect of Gwakyangjeonggisangamibang on adenoidal hypertrophy. Methods The subject was a child with adenoidal hypertrophy. This patient was treated with oriental herbal medicine. The improvement was observed by subjective symptoms and A/N ratio, and OSA-18 survey was performed to compare quality of life before and after the treatment. Results After the treatment, the symptoms of adenoidal hypertrophy were relieved. A/N ratio of this child went down from 0.9 to 0.65. Also, the significant OSA-18 score change demonstrated that the patient's quality of life was improved. Conclusions This study showed that a conservative treatment using herbal medicine can be an effective choice for adenoidal hypertrophy before deciding to performing an adenoidectomy.

『어둠의 심연』(Heart of Darkness)에 재현된 상징과 실재의 갈등

This study aims to explore the textual unconscious at work beneath the surface of Heart of Darkness using Lacanian psychoanalysis. To accomplish this, it firstly analyzes how the fantasy of imperial ideology functions to cover up the lack in the symbolic Other of 19th century Europeans. The fantasy of racism in which colonial blacks are considered as non-humans or sub-humans is the most effective device to conceal the inconsistency and irrationality of European colonialism. Secondly, it discusses in what way encounters with the real affect the psychological lives of individual subjects, by tracing the journeys of Marlow and Kurtz in the Congo. Through his journey, Marlow gains a new mode of subjectivity with which he can embrace the real within himself without being overwhelmed by it. On the other hand, Kurtz is thoroughly destroyed morally and physically by enjoying jouissance excessively, ignoring the warnings of the symbolic order. By understanding the conflict between the symbolic and the real ongoing in the social unconscious as well as in the individual unconscious, we can live down its disgrace as imperialist literature and deem it a brilliant guide for a deep journey into the human mind.

교육비지출이 중년기 남성가구주의 우울도에 미치는 영향: 소득수준의 차등적 효과를 중심으로

한국사회에서 자녀교육비는 가구지출의 상당 부분을 차지하고 있으며 그 부모에게 큰 경제적 부담이 된다. 이러한 부담은 부모의 정신건강에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 가능성이 크다. 이 논문은 중년층 남성가구주를 대상으로 자녀교육비가 우울에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그리고 이러한 영향은 소득수준에 따라 차등적인지를 분석하고자 한다. 중년층 남성가구주가 대부분 해당 가구의 주요 소득원인 상황에서 교육비지출의 효과는 이들 집단에서 민감하게 나타날 가능성이 높다. 이를 확인하기 위해 한국복지패널 제10차 자료(n=6,914) 중 40대와 50대 남성가구주(n=1,485)를 대상으로 확장형회귀모형을 실시하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 가구지출에서 차지하는 교육비 비중과 소득 하위 1분위(하위소득 20%)의 효과가 확인되었다. 또한 교육비 비중의 부정적인 효과는 하위소득층에서 더 크게 나타났다. 따라서 중년층 남성가구주들의 우울수준에 대한 교육비 비중의 효과는 소득 수준에 따라 차등적임이 확인되었다. Expense for education of children, taking significant proportion of the household expenditure, has become a great deal of financial burden for their parents in Korea. Such burden may have detrimental effect on the psychological well being of the parents. This study examines whether educational expenses for children is related to depression of their parents and how this relationship differs by the level of household income. In doing so, the study focuses on the depression of male household heads in middle age since they usually take the main responsibility for income in Korea and have children in school. Utilizing the data from 10^th Korean Welfare Panel Survey, the study analyzed male household head (n=1,485) in their 40s and 50s. The regression models and its comparison reveals that the proportion of expense for education has a positive effect on the scores of CED. Furthermore, the effect is stronger for lower level of income. The differential effect of educational expenses by income level suggests that the parents with low income may experience much more intensive stress for children’s education than their counterparts.
