독일의 불교학 연구 프로젝트 현황

The present paper is based on a survey of recent Buddhist studies in Germany prepared for the inaugural conference of the Institution for World Buddhist Studies at Dongguk university, Seoul. The article introduces several projects on or related to Buddhist studies which are currently carried out at the universities Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Universität Heidelberg, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Georg- August-Universität Göttingen. Thus, it aims at providing some insight into recent methodologies, topics of Buddhist Studies in Germany. 본고는 동국대학교 세계불교학연구소 창립 학술대회를 위해 작성한 독일의 불교학 연구에 관한 소개문이다. 독일의 뮌헨 대학, 하이델베르크 대학, 보훔 대학, 괴팅엔 대학에서 현재 진행 중인 불교학 관련 프로젝트 연구 사업들을 소개하는 것에 집중하였으며, 특히 최근 연구 방법론 및 연구 주제에 대해알아보는 것을 그 목표로 두었다.

H2 선택적 투과 분리를 위한 ZIF-8 분리막

A ZIF-8 membrane was prepared via counter diffusion method. To control the diffusion rate, two supports with different pore structure were employed, conventional and modified α-Al2O3 disc; disc A and disc B. The ZIF-8 membranes are derived their name from the supports; ZIF-8-A and ZIF-8-B. While ZIF-8-A was grown at the surface of the disc A, ZIF-8-B was grown inside the disc B. At 200°C, ZIF-8-A and -B exhibited H2/CO2 separation factor (SF) of 6.69 and 8.21. In long-term thermal stability tests, both ZIF-8-A and -B were withstood their properties at 200 and 250°C for 72 h. At 300°C, SF of ZIF-8-A fell after ~2 h, however, that of ZIF-8-B dropped after ~10 h. To sum up these features, ZIF-8-B showed higher H2 selectivity and thermal stability than ZIF-8-A, since ZIF-8 membrane was synthesized inside of the support.

외상성 뇌경막하수종의 임상적 양상과 ^(99m)Tc-HMPAO SPECT를 이용한 뇌혈류와의 비교 고찰

Measurement of regional cerebral blood flow with single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT1'was pedomed using wc-HMPAO in 16 patients with traumatic subdural hygroma, and we investigated the relationships bemeen the results and the initial clinical findings and clinical outcomes on 4-months after injury. In patients with complex subdural hygroma, i m m e n t of perfusion on fonOw up SPECT was correlated with the clinical outcome. But in patients with simple subdural hygmma, the clinical outocmes were good regardless of cerebral perfusion on initial SPECT and cerebral hypoperfusion was improved on follow up SPECT in all patients These results suggested that associated parenchymal injury, initial perfusion of the hntal cortex, and improvement of perfusion on follow up SPECT were good indicators of clinical outcome. In conclusion, HMPAGSPECT can be helpful in predicting the prognosis and assessing the effect of surgical treatment in patients with mumatic subdural hygroma

배역 교환을 통한 성 역할 전복 : Caryl Churchill의 Cloud Nine을 중심으로

Churchill, one of the socialistic feminist dramatists, attempts various experimental stages and dramatic techniques to develop her message. This paper traces Churchill's Cloud Nine, which shows maturity and perspective in the development of Churchill's craft, in the context of 'cross-casting' and 'doubling' of her dramatic techniques. In this play, she shows the inconformity between an actor's gender and role, and suggests that gender role is not biological factor but a product of social and cultural ideologies, by exchanging the sex of characters (cross-casting). In Act One, she shows several examples of cross-casting such as an actor playing the role of a woman, an actress playing the role of a man, and a white actor playing the role of a black man, etc. Through this technique, the audience recognizes the oppressed selves of characters. In Act Two, the characters of Act One are recasted (doubling) and described as liberated selves of characters through right-gendering and changing their clothes with one another. But now they are confused between the conventional role and the expectable role and are still searching for their own selves. With doubling and cross-casting to make intricate connections between different contexts, Cloud Nine reflects many possibilities inherent in the real world, and these possibilities subvert conventional ideas about the individuality or integrity of character. But she doesn't suggest any solution but just the possibility of change. Open-endedness makes the audience reflect on what they are seeing and rethink their established roles.

다발골수종 환자에서 비타민 D 농도와 골격계 합병증 사이의 상관관계에 대한 연구

Objective: Vitamin D deficiency can either cause or aggravate osteopenia and osteoporosis, and that can lead to an increased risk of fracture. We studied associations between serum vitamin D level and skeletal complications including bone pain in multiple myeloma patients. Methods: This study reviewed the medical records of 35 multiple myeloma patients in Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital from January, 2013 to May, 2014. The patients were classified as three groups according to the total vitamin D level: above 20 ng/ mL as sufficient group, from 10 to 20 ng/mL as insufficient group, and below 10 ng/mL as deficient group. Results: The incidence of fracture complication, the number of fracture, and the number of the cases of severe fracture that needed surgical intervention did not show statically significant difference in the three groups according to the total vitamin D level. As the results presented as graphs, the number of indicator of skeletal complications and total vitamin D level showed negative relationship. In the logistic regression analysis, analgesic use due to bone pain and the number of total analgesic use were significantly different in three groups (P=0.036, P=0.041), respectively, and showed a negative correlation between the level of vitamin D and number of analgesics had negative correlation. Conclusion: The measurement of serum total vitamin D level at the initial diagnosis in multiple myeloma patients and the proper treatment in the deficient patients would reduce the skeletal complications and moreover improve the quality of life.

Controlling the Electrical and the Optical Properties of Amorphous IGZO Films Prepared by Using Pulsed Laser Deposition

We have investigated the effects of substrate temperature and oxygen pressure on the electrical and the optical properties of amorphous InGaZnO4 (a-IGZO) films grown on glass substrates by using pulsed laser deposition. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy data suggest that the a-IGZO starts to crystallize around ∼600 ℃. The electrical resistivity and the carrier density of the a-IGZO film showed large variations with changes in the substrate temperature or the oxygen pressure. The resistivity of the a-IGZO film was minimized at ∼200 ℃ and ∼10 mTorr. The energy gap estimated from the optical transmittance showed an increasing tendency with increasing of substrate temperature up to ∼200 ℃ or with increasing of oxygen pressure up to 100 mTorr, and it was about ∼3.0 eV at 200 ℃ and 10 mTorr. Remarkably, the optical transmittance for the a-IGZO film showed a clear variation in the violet color region with changing of the substrate temperature and oxygen pressure. Our results suggest that both the substrate temperature and the oxygen pressure can be exploited as key parameters to control the electrical and the optical properties of a-IGZO films.

Surgical removal of bone metastasis from hepatocellular carcinoma frequently produces profuse bleeding. To reduce bleeding, we have performed preoperative embolization of tumor feeding artery with flow-dependent micro-platinum coils during superselective angiography in a case of frontal bone metastasis from hepatocellular carcinoma. The tumor was removed easily with minimal bleeding after the embolization, so we report the case with review of the relevant literature.

우리나라 高等學校 地球科學敎育 內容의 分析 및 評價

The papers of earth science examinations given during the first semester of 1981 academic year were collected from the seventy five high schools randomly chosen all over the country. The examination questions were analyzed and evaluated in order to grasp the current state and issues of earth science education. Some critical remarks and suggestions are made for improvement of the earth science education at the secondary school level.
