TiO₂/SiO<SUB>x</SUB>C<SUB>y</SUB> 이중 박막을 이용한 투명 친수성/내마모성 반사방지 코팅

A double-layered anti-reflective coating with hydrophilic/abrasion-resistant properties was studied using anatase titanium dioxide(TiO₂) and silicon oxycarbide(SiOxCy) thin film. TiO₂ and SiOxCy thin films were sequentially deposited on a glass substrate by DC sputtering and PECVD, respectively. The optical properties were measured by UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer. The abrasion-resistance and the hydrophilicity were observed by a taber abrasion tester and a contact angle analyzer, respectively. The TiO₂/SiOxCy double-layer thin film had an average transmittance of 91.3%, which was improved by 10% in the visible light region (400 to 800 nm) than that of the TiO₂ single-layer thin film. The contact angle of TiO2/SiOxCy film was 6.9° right after UV exposure. After 9 days from the exposure, the contact angle was 10.2°, which was 33° lower than that of the TiO₂ single-layer film. By the abrasion test, SiOxCy film showed a superior abrasion-resistance to the TiO₂ film. Consequently, the TiO₂/SiOxCy double-layer film has achieved superior anti-reflection, hydrophilicity, and abrasion resistance over the TiO₂ or SiOxCy single-layer film.

Percutaneous needle biopsy is the most reliable nonoperative method of obtaining the definitive diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary lesion. Needle aspiration combined with cytologic examination is being used with increasing frequency in the diagnosis of pulmonary nodules and masses. Diagnostic needle aspiration of 59 localized pulmonary lesions was performed with 20 and 22 gauge needles between the beginning of November 1983 and the end of August 1986 at the Department of Internal Medicine of Hanyang University Hospital. Cough was the most common chief complaint. Next in order were chest pain, dyspnea, no symptoms, blood tinged sputum, production of mucus, generalized weakness. hoarseness, weight loss, and fever. The obtainability of the tissue was 91.5%, and diagnostic accuracy was 84.7%. Complications of percutaneous needle lung aspiration were: pneumothorax in 5 cases (8.5%), all of which were not required chest tube evacuation; minor hemoptsis ($lt;50ml) in 2 (3.4%), and hemnthorax in 1 (1.7%). We think that needle biopsy represents a minor, inexpensive and safe procedure, which-with a simple technique-permits a direct approach to all kinds of localized lung lesion with a high degree of accuracy.

The occurrence of multiple primary bronchogenic carcinomas in a single patient is not commonly appreciated but may become increasingly prevalent as early detection techniques and cancer therapy has improved. Multiple primary bronchogenic carcinomas are thought to occur in less than 3.9% of all lung cancer patients. Establishing the diagnosis of multiple primary bronchogenic carcinomas requires demonstration of histologic, anatomic, temporal separation of the tumors or simultaneous appearance of two tumors. The patient is a 56-year-old woman with bilateral primary bronchogenic carcinomas of different cell types was identified with flexible bronchofiberscopic biopies. This is the report of the histologic association of an adenocarcinoma in one lung and a large cell carcinoma in the opposite lung occurring synchronously in a single patient.
