유교적 본원 가치와 로컬리티의 왜곡 ―근대성 성취 과정의 집중 문제를 중심으로―

한국의 근대화는 우리에게 괄목할만한 성취를 안겨 주었지만, 그 이면에 중앙 편중, 이분법적 사물 접근, 획일화, 주변화, 타자화의 “결여의 공간”을 낳았다. 한편 유교는 근대화 과정에 중요 이념적 요소여서 그 성취에 정신적 지주 역할을 하였을 뿐만 아니라, 결여 현상에 일정 부분 잘못 이용되기도 하였다. 이 같은 문제의식에서, 이 논문은 두 층위의 유교, 지배 이념적 정치 유학과 본원 유교에 주목하여 그 성찰을 요청한다. 또한 “실학”으로서 유교가 결코 바람직하지 않은 현대 한국의 중심화 해소에 어떤 역할을 할 수 있을지도 모색해 본다. 그렇게 함으로써 오늘을 사는 한국적 공간에 내재하는 오도된 가치, 국가 아이덴티티, 중앙 집중으로부터 비롯된 본원 가치-문명적 가치(유교)뿐만 아니라 사물이나 장소 가치-의 왜곡된 인식에 대하여 접근한다. 아울러 이 논문은 우리 사회에 만연된 사물이나 지역이 지닌 가치 발현의 문제, 근대화 과정에 만들어진 집중, 쏠림 현상을 벗어나기 위한, “탈중심”의 대안은 없는지에 관한 검토한다. Korea has brought the remarkable modernization which is led by the government, but on the other hand it brought about many negative results such as nation-centralism, the logical dichotomy, standardization, marginalization, lack of space, and so on. In the process, Confucianism not only have played the part of the mental leader in achievement but also misused in formation of “lack of space” as a negative results partly, From these critical mind, this thesis asks for the reflection of Confucianism in the focus of two level that are Political Confucianism and Authentic Confucianism. At the same time we try to find the role of Confucianism as a practical science in solving the negative results of modernization. As a result, we describe the cause of the distortion of Authentic Confucianism inherent in Korean contemporary society. Additionally, this thesis analyzes the possibility of Authentic Confucianism as an alternative value to nation-centralism which has brought about political inequality and social polarization.

According to the rollover crash accident data, 95% of single-vehicle rollovers are tripped rollovers that happens when a vehicle leaves the roadway and slides sideways, digging its tires into soft sailor striking an object such as a curb or guard rail and 5% are un-tripped rollovers that occurs during high-speed collision avoidance maneuvers. In order to make reference to assess rollover resistance with SSF(Static Stability Factor) that calculated by measuring only track width and center of gravity height of vehicle in vehicle parameter, it was peformed the study on the development of Vehicle Center of Gravity Measurement system to measure the Center of Gravity Height of vehicle and so on in parameter of SSF in this paper and constructed VCGM system with good performance that its accuracy is less than 0.6% and its repeatability 0.2%.

Sport utility vehicle (SUV) not only aim to well-being in outdoor leisure but also handy to load many cargo have higher center of gravity than sedans, so it generally have risk to rollover accident. When trying to observe a statistics of domestic or outside rollover accident, rollover is a fatal accident to the passenger in addition to driver. In this paper, simple rollover index is proposed by experimental evaluation of objective and quantitative index. It is verified that proposed simple rollover index have more highly discriminating power than a existing index of assesment in KNCAP as a result of verification with three cases judged to deteriorate discriminating power on the characteristics of vehicle rollover.

Confucianism has a creed that mankind can peacefully live together from the restoration of relation with each other, which is implicated in ``jen`` (benevolence) that implies the state of the relationalities between human beings under the heaven. In a sense Confucian scholars have developed their own theory achieving the way of their learning originated in Confucius` learning. Also in the same context Yi Hwang propose that we should not only cultivate our mind but also be in contact with the others and our own affairs through our kyeong (reverence) to achieve interconnected state with them. In his thought, there are the barrier to the way for appreciating the right knowledge of objects before us without our reverence on objects which are men or things in our history. As a result we would have met bad emperors who had became strongmen and led people violently and made what they ought to do wrong. At this point Yi Hwang considered it as very important that we appreciate things objectively and establish righteousness as the principle of things truly. Hence he made stress on the necessity of kyeong for doing all things whatever we might have met, building the right leadership both of oneself and for contacting others including things through the theory of kyeong ontologically in the middle of Chosun Dynasty.

근대전환기 중국의 사상가들은 인간 욕망의 대외적 성취를 위하여 국가와 제도는 어떠해야 하는가를 고민하였다. 예를 들어 강유위와 그의 제자 담사동은 중국 중심의 문명적 사고에서 벗어나, ‘국가’와 같은 일체의 경계 관념을 넘어 상대와 관계성을 이룰 때 그것은 가능하다고 인식하였다. 그들은 형이상학과 형이하학, 본질과 작용, 중국과 외국, 이성과 감정, 중심과 주변과 같은 ‘경계 짓기’가 해소되어, 인간의 정서상 바라는 바가 구현되는 세상의 도래를 희망하였다. 같은 의미에서 그들은 사물 인식에 있어 도덕론에 머물지 않는 공리주의적 입장에서, 제반 제도는 인민의 욕망 성취와 무관해서는 안 된다고 보았다. 이들은 시대 상황에 맞게 국가 시스템, 역시 바뀌어야 한다는 변법 이념을 제시하였다. 따라서 문명과 야만, 중국과 외국, 지역과 지역 간의 경계도, 서로에게 혜택을 줄 수 있는 한 해소되어야 한다고 주장하였다. 궁극적으로 그들은 합리적 삶의 기준에서 개인이나 국가가 가야할 길이 있다면, 그것은 관념적이거나 폐쇄적이지 않아야 하고, 인민 대중의 욕망의 성취와 무관해서는 안되며, 대외적 소통이 없는 제도 역시 더 이상 유용하지 않다고 하였다. Chinese philosophers in the transitional period of Modern China, take into consideration what nation should do and how her institution be in order that people may achieve their desire. Then they arrive at the opinion that all the nation should be boundlessly interconnected with each other for people’s wealth. They hope societies in which their people can do whatever they want without all barriers before them, which include the concepts that may be not only in regional boundaries but also in human recognition, for example, between metaphysics and physics, essence and use in things, China and the other countries, reason and feelings, and center and margin with a view to realizing their people’s desires. In the same context they think that all the system of a nation should be sure to be relevant with the achievement of people’s desire under the utilitarianism beyond moral ideas as a leadership of the nation, which result in presenting the modifying ideas for national development to officials in authority. In this way they propose to give up dichotomous thinking over the relations between civilization and barbarianism, China and the other countries, ect.. as long as they are beneficent to each other. In conclusion they have the idea that the ‘rationality’ as people’s way of life as well as the direction and institution of nation must be not abstractive but concrete and have relationalities with objects so as to come true people’s real dream and desire.
