This paper provides the factors that may contribute to establish practical action plans to improve the professional consciousness of construction workers on the construction industry. The factors are identified by analyzing professional consciousness and the current state of construction industry image recognized by administrative workers and production workers engaged in the domestic construction industry. The findings are as follows. First, administrative workers have positive image towards the construction industry. However, construction workers have negative image. Second, in general, construction workers have positive professional consciousness towards the economic development, land development, social contribution and advanced technology. However, they have very negative image in relation to business ethics and working environment. Third, it was found that for improving administrative and production workers" desire to work and professional consciousness, "regular working hours" and "improvement of wages" are needed in a short term. In addition, "foundation for improvement of future potential" and "improvement of welfare benefits conditions" are necessary in the medium and long term. Fourth, it was found that there is a need to set a specific goal and choose clear targets and activities suitable to improve the construction workers" cognitive image, and also there should be an active nation-wide promotion for the improvement activities.

Construction Standard Production Unit system(CSPU) is used for estimating the cost of public construction projects. However, It is questionable if the reliability and/or authenticity of the system is acceptable because of the lack of consistent enactment and/or revision procedures. This study identifies the major issues relative to the enactment and/or revision of CSPU system, and establishes the measures for improving the system. This study contributes to improve the authenticity of standard production unit data obtained from CSPU system. The improvement measures are established by obtaining and reflecting expert opinions from the estimating practice. The expert pool includes scholars, researchers, and practitioners who work for public institution, and public corporation.

Alf Laylah wa Laylah is the book of folk tales of Middle East. In this book many tales which include all subjects of human life are connected systematically in the narrative device of frame story and contain the thoughts and the emotion of Middle Eastern people. This paper studies the types of tricks in Alf Laylah wa Laylah focusing the story of king and prince and mistress and seven ministers. As for the women's tricks, they are classified by four types like the trick to cover up the unfaithful deeds and the trick to make men fall into a difficult situation by queer ways and the audacity and the trick to intervene in the love affairs of young couples and the trick to intrigue against the hostile eyewitness and make him die. Usually women's tricks are successful in most cases. As for the men's tricks, they are classified by three types like the trick to gain the love and the trick to intrigue against prince and the trick to make a woman of one-sided love fall into a difficult situation. Men's tricks are failed in most cases. When we compare the tricks of women with those of men, women show the image of the fineness and the strongness while men show the image of the stupidness and the feebleness. This phenomenon reflects the sexual suppression of women and the sense of alienation of them in the patriarchal system in the medieval Arab society. The Arab women would express their miserable situations satirically in the imaginary world of stories.

본고는 디지털 게임을 플레이할 때 발생하는 시간의 여러 층위와 그 구조적 특성을 통해 모순적으로 보이는 게임 플레이의 시간성이 서로 결합하는 양상과 그 결과로 만들어내는 리듬을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 디지털 게임 플레이는 첫째, 연대기적으로 흐르는 불가역적 시간의 지배 속에서 언제든 시간을 정지시키고 변화시킬 수 있는 가역성을 동시에 추구한다. 둘째, 이런 이중적인 시간 체계가 공존할 수 있는 이유는 게임의 시간에 플레이어가 개입하기 때문이다. 마지막으로 이렇게 복잡해 보이는 다층적 시간 체계는 이미 진행되었던 게임 플레이를 다시 한 번 반복하는 식의 리플레이라는 특수한 게임 플레이 활동을 통해 리듬을 만들어낸다. The purpose of this study is how to occur the temporality in Digital Gameplay. There is two types of time in Gameplay. One is Irreversibility time that goes passed through a game world like a chronology order. Another is Reversibility time that returns and renews the time. The time's duality is caused by player's intervene and experience. And the polychronic temporality in gameplay makes the rhythm as replay and eternal cyclic time.

The purpose of the present study is two-fold. It conducts a survey on teachers and learners’ views on the pedagogical efficacy of non-native teachers’ pronunciation teaching and finds that learners rely heavily on non-native teachers’ pronunciation demonstration in learning the pronunciation of a target language. Having found the importance of non-native teachers’ roles in students’ pronunciation learning, this study further examines non-native teachers’ pronunciation by conducting an experimental analysis of the vowels /a/, /i/, /u/, /o/, and /u/ produced by non-native teachers and native speakers. Experimental results show that non-native teachers still reveal non-native accents in two ways: (1) The lowering and retracting of tongue in producing the low vowel /a/ and the high back vowel /u/, respectively, are not fully realized. (2) The vowels /e/ and /o/ are produced with considerably less diphthongal characteristics. The findings of the study also suggest that teacher training programs are needed to help non-native teachers of Chinese improve their pronunciation as well as overall speaking skills.
