        치매(痴呆)에 관(關)한 동서의학적(東西醫學的) 비교(比較) 고찰(考察)

        This study was done in order to investigate the etiology and pathology of dementia in the variety literature. Dementia in elderly persons(above the age of 60) mainly classfied Alzheimer disease and Cerebral vascular dementia. The results were as follows: 1. Dementia patients have abnormal mental function, who have no mental weakness but defects of memory, verbal disturbance, behavior disturbance and loss of intellectual function. 2. Dementia regard as 'me-beng(?病)', 'jeon-gwang(癲狂)', and 'heo-ro(虛勞)' in oriental medicine and the symptom is a silence with no response, mixing, a crying or a laugh, a stranger behavior and a amnesia; disturbances of speech, emotion, behavior. 3. Dementia caused by Alzheimer disease, Multi infarct dementia, Parkinson's disease, sequelae of acute CO poisoning, head injury and alcoholism(occidental medically) and the 'Dam(痰) and Damhwa(痰火), weakness of heart and spleen(心脾虛) caused by pent up anger of seven emotions(七情鬱結), the weakness of liver and kidney(肝腎不足)(oriental medically). 4. The causes of Alzheimer disease are various; a heredity factor, a morphological factor of brain tissues, a psychological factor and a biochemical factor (occidental medically) ; the 'Dam(痰) and Damhwa(痰火) caused by weakness of the internal organs and disturbance of the emotions(oriental medically). 5. Cerebral vascular dementia caused by loss of the certain cerebral neurons and oriental medically caused by obstruction of 'dam(痰)' or 'eo heul(瘀血)'. It is recommended that further study of many sided investigations, specially against a weakness of spiritual functions and a certain neurotoxin in the future.

        돼지에 있어서 Staphylococcus hyicus subsp hyicus의 분포와 분리균의 항균제 감수성

        In order to know the prevalence of S. hyicus subsp hyicus in pigs, attempts were made to isolate the organism from 549 healthy adult pigs, 277 healthy suckling piglets and 17 piglets with exudative epidermitis from April 1988 to January 1989 in Chinju, Korea. Also determined was antibiotic susceptibility of the isolates. Isolation rates of S. hyicus subsp. hyicus from adult pigs and suekling piglets were 27.0% and 53.1%, respectively. The organism was isolated predominantly from abdomen (10.9%) of adult pigs and external ear (31.6%) of suckling piglets. Isolation rates of the organism from piglets of different age group were in order of prevalence of 1(82.1%), 3(74.0%), 2(54.7%), 4(52.9%), 5(15.2%) and 6(5.7%) post-natal weeks. All of 489 isolates were sensitive to gentamicin, kanamycin and cephalexin but 23.7~79.6% of the strains were resistant to erythromycin, penicillin G and tetracycline. The 49.2% of these resistant strains exhibited multiple drug resistance. The drug resistant patterns most frequently encountered were PG TC EM(10.7%) in triple pattern, PG TC(23.0%) in double pattern and TC(44.4%) in single pattern.

        범죄피해자지원연합회의 활동에 대한 평가와 전망

        The study aims to evaluate activities conducted by KCVA(Korean Crime Victim Support Association) that was established on September 2008 and suggest prospects for activities in the future. In order to evaluate KCVA activities, survey was conducted of employees of Crime Victim Support Centers. Questionnaires were mailed to all employees with 57 centers, and questionnaires were collected from 113 employees in 51 centers. Study results can be summarized as follows. First, it recorded 3.23 out of 5 points in degree of satisfaction with KCVA activities, and the degree of satisfaction was higher in such areas as legislation activites to support crime victims, advertising activities crime victim support centers and education for volunteers and employees in the centers. Second, employees with the centers wanted KCVA to provide support and collect opinions from the centers instead of supervising the centers. They also thought that KCVA would be a great help to the development of the centers and to increasing interest in supporting victims on the part of the general public. In addition, they wanted KCVA to expand its organization and personnel so that it can fulfill greater obligations. Third, they thought that KCVA needed to concentrate on securing financial support from the government and local governments, developing and distributing programs to support crime victims, establishing standardized guidelines for facilitated activities to support crime victims, increasing wages for employees with the centers and furthering network with related institutions (police and private organizations) to support victims.

        피해자지원센터의 화해중재 프로그램에 대한 평가연구

        This study is intended to analyze the problems of victim-offender reconciliation and mediation program based on an empirical investigation on the victim support center's activity and to suggest the solutions to these problems. For it, two questionnaire surveys were conducted for nationwide 51 victim support centers. One questionnaire survey was conducted for 51 centers and another questionnaire survey was conducted for 103 staffs who worked in each center's office. The following describes the summary of main results derived from the investigation. First, it was very urgent to improve environment for the reconciliation and mediation activity. Respondents answered that there was the lack of office space for the reconciliation and mediation activity, and the lack of professionals who would participate in the reconciliation and mediation program. Especially, out of committee members designated as the reconciliation and mediation professional, there is the considerable number of committee members who actually did not participate in the reconciliation and mediation activity. Accordingly, it is necessary to invite the various types' professionals who will actually participate in the reconciliation and mediation activity. Second, the considerable number of cases among the reconciliation and mediation cases of the center requested by the prosecution was inappropriate and unsuitable for the reconciliation and mediation program. The Public Prosecutor's Office must select the appropriate case for the center by considering the center's standpoint not its own perspective and must send the suitable case to the center. Also, the prosecution must enable the offender and victim to participate in the reconciliation and mediation program arbitrarily, not compulsorily, by explaining the purport of reconciliation and mediation to the offender and victim before requesting the center to do the reconciliation and mediation. The center must do the thorough post checkup about whether the agreement of reconciliation and mediation is well performed and the relationship of offender and victim is recovered. Third, it was found that the center workers generally gave the affirmative answer in evaluating the reconciliation and mediation's goal, process and results. They did very affirmative evaluation on the reconciliation and mediation activity's goal, but they did relatively less affirmative evaluation on the process and results. Accordingly, there must be the specific efforts and measures to reflect the principle and goal of reconciliation and mediation program on the actual activity process and results.

        제주지역 다지교차로의 회전교차로 교통시스템 변환에 따른 효과분석

        회전교차로는 평면교차로의 일종으로 교차로 중앙에 원형교통섬을 두고 교차로를 통과하는 자동차가 원형교통섬을 우회하도록 하는 교차로 형식이다. 본 연구에서는 신호교차로와 회전교차로의 운영 및 경제적 효과를 분석하기 위해서 제주지역의 5개 교차로를 중심으로 회전교차로 설치에 따른 비교 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 차량평균지체 측면에서 신호교차로에 비해 회전교차로가 65.6%%에서 91.77%의 개선효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 차량운행비용과 시간가치비용을 종합한 교통 혼잡비용의 효과를 분석한 결과, 년간 58.59%(D intersection)에서 81.69%(B intersection)의 비용절감 효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이를 통해 제주지역의 경우 신호교차로에 비해서 회전교차로가 운영 효과가 뛰어난 것으로 조사되었다. Roundabout is an intersection that allows vehicles to pass through the intersection by circulating the circular traffic island at the center of the intersection. In this study, a comparative analysis was conducted on roundabout at five locations in order to deduce the operational result and financial effect of roundabout and signal intersection. As for the operational result, it was found that roundabout showed improvement effect in the average delay per vehicle compared to that of signal intersection by minimum of 65.6% and maximum of 91.77%. it was found that roundabout showed financial cost-saving effect in the traffic congestion cost compared to that of signal operation by minimum of 58.59% and maximum of 81.69% per year. It can be known from these analysis results that roundabout has significant operational effects under certain amount of traffic volume by allowing vehicles to pass through the intersection in a continuous way without much waiting time and stoppage from signal control.

        범죄피해자 지원센터의 운영 현황에 대한 실태 조사

        본 연구의 목적은 범죄피해자지원센터의 조직, 인력, 예산 현황에 대한 경험적 조사를 통하여 문제점을 파악하고 개선점을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 전국 51개 범죄피해자센터에 대하여 두 가지 유형의 설문조사를 실시한 바, 그 중 하나는 각 센터를 대상으로 하는 조사이며 다른 하나는 각 센터의 사무실 근무자 105명을 대상으로 하는 설문조사이다. 조사를 통해서 발견된 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 센터 사무실에서 근무하는 인원은 평균 2.3명 정도이며, 상당수의 센터에서는 근무자가 풀타임이 아닌 파트타임 형태로 근무하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 열악한 근무여건과 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 보인다. 따라서 근무자의 근무여건의 향상을 통하여 풀타임 근무가 이루어지도록 함으로써 피해자지원업무에 공백이 발생하지 않도록 하는 것이 필요하다. 근무자들 중에서 관련 자격증 소지자, 관련 교육과정 이수자의 비율이 각각 절반에 못 미치는 것으로 나타나 전문성을 제고할 수 있는 프로그램 마련이 시급하였으며, 특히 피해자 지원에 관련된 전문적인 지식이 더욱더 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 센터의 각종 분과에 소속된 전문위원의 경우에는 관련 단체의 종사자의 비율이 높고, 특히 범죄예방위원의 영입 정도가 높았다. 반면에 실제로 활동에 참여하지 않는 위원이 상당수에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 51개 센터 중에서 자원봉사자를 활용하는 20개 센터의 경우 여성의 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났는데, 지역사회 자원의 다각적인 활용이라는 측면에서 자원봉사자의 활용을 높이고 유형을 다양화할 필요성이 제기된다. 셋째, 50개 센터의 평균예산액은 2005년의 경우 8천 21만원, 2006년의 경우 1억 635만원인데, 센터에 따라서 실제 액수는 극심한 차이를 보이고 있다. 또한 2006년도 예산편성이 2005년도 예산의 집행정도와 무관하게 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 예산의 확보는 지방자치단체의 지원금과 센터 임원들의 기부금에 크게 의존하고 있었으며, 특히 기부금의 경우에는 소수의 거액 기부에 의존하는 것으로 나타났는데, 예산의 안정적 확보를 위해서는 소액을 기부하는 다수 회원의 확보가 바람직한 것으로 보인다. 2005년 예산의 집행 내역을 보면 인건비가 31.8%, 사무실 운영유지비가 32.4%, 피해자지원비가 16.7%로 나타나 피해자지원에 소요되는 예산의 비중이 상대적으로 적었다. 특히 5개 센터의 경우에는 피해자지원비를 전혀 집행하지 않았던 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 센터의 예산에 대한 정확한 진단과 평가가 요망된다. This study is intended to identify the problems through an experiential investigation on the victim support center's organization, human resources, and financial state and to suggest the reform measure. For it, the questionnaire survey of two types was conducted for nationwide 51 victim support centers. One questionnaire survey was conducted for each center and another questionnaire survey was conducted for 105 office staffs of 51 centers. Main results derived by the survey are summarized as follows. First, there were the average 2.3 staffs who worked in the center's office, and the office staffs of most centers were not a full time employee but a part time employee. It seems to be closely related to a poor working condition. Accordingly, it is necessary to prevent a vacuum of the victim support job by ensuring the full-time employment through improving the staffs' working conditions. Also, in relation to the staff's professionalism, the ratio of staffs who completed the related education curriculum and the related certificate holders was lower than the half. Therefore, it is significant to prepare the program to improve professionalism. In particular, these staffs didn't have the victim support-related knowledge. Second, the victim-related organization's employees were very highly recruited as the professional volunteers of the center's divisions. Especially, there was very high percentage of recruiting the crime prevention professional volunteers. On the other hand, there were a lot of professional volunteers who didn't participate in an activity actually. Among 51 centers, 20 centers have utilized the citizen volunteers. There was the high percentage in women. It seems necessary to improve this situation in terms of the utilization of local society's resources. Third, in terms of 50 centers' average budget, there were 80,210,000 won in 2005, and 106,350,000 won in 2006. There was a big difference of budget in centers. Also, 2006 budgeting was not connected to 2005 budget execution. The budget largely depended on a local government's assistance and the donation of center's professinal volunteers. In particular, it was indicated that the donation depended on the few donators of large money. But, it is desirable to recruit a large number of members who can donate a small amount of money for the stable acquisition of budget. From 2005 budget list, the personnel expenses were 31.8%, the office operation & maintenance expenses were 32.4%, and the victim support expenses were 16.7%. A portion of budget for the victim support was relatively small. Especially, five centers didn't execute the payment of victim support budget. Accordingly, an exact diagnosis and evaluation of the center's budget is required.

        PDMS를 이용한 마이크로 구동기의 제작 및 평가

        In this study, we propose and develop PDMS-based modular actuators. The microactuator which looks like a small insect uses thermal expansion power of the PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane; sylgar®184 silicone elastomer). The PDMS-based microactuator provides a large displacement due to a high thermal expansion coefficient (approximately 310ppm). The microacruator with 1㎜ length 350 ㎛ width is optimized by using a numerical analysis. The shape of the PDMS actuatoris variously designed. They are placed at several positions to find the optimal position that provides a high transformation ratio. The PDMS-based microactuators are fabricated using a conventional micromaching technique. The fabricated microactuator is heated using a hot-plate. The actuator displacement is measured as a function of temperature from 27℃ to 300℃. The experimental results are compared to the simulation result. When heating temperature up to 300℃ is applied to the PDMS actuator, each V-groove-shaped joint is actuated 30 μ mat 300℃. Anotherdesign of the microactuator has a maximum displacement of about 656㎜.
