In this paper, semiconducting shield specimens for a DC cable is fabricated and characterized by measurement of volume resistance, tensile strength, and the coefficient of expansion to show the electrical and mechanical characteristics of the semiconducting shield. Due to the PTC phenomenon, the volume resistance at $25^{\circ}C$ increases rapidly in comparison to the volume resistance at $90^{\circ}C$. Since the compounding ratio of carbon black is low, the tensile strength and density become lower and the coefficient of expansion is increased. As the general specification of the tensile strength and density is $0.8kgf/mm^2$ and 150%, respectively, the fabricated specimen in this paper has excellent mechanical characteristic.

최근 영상보안에 대한 연구 및 관심이 급증하고 있으며, CCTV 카메라, 디지털 저장장치, 영상분석 및 인식기술 등의 발전으로 진화된 영상보안 기술의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 지능형 환경에 적합한 영상보안 기술과 관련된 네트워크 카메라에 대한 최근 연구 동향을 살펴보며 향후 발전방향에 대해 논의한다.

Process design of hot forging, asymmetric to symmetric rail steel, which is used for the turnout of railway express has been investigated. Owing to the big difference in shape between the initial billet and the final forged product, it is impossible to hot forge the rail in a single step. Therefore, multi step forging as well as die design for each step are necessary for the production. The deformation behavior during hot forging has been analyzed by the numerical simulation through commercial FEA software, DEFORMTM-2D. Modification of the design and repeated simulation have been carried out on the basis of the simulation result. For comparison with the simulation results, flow analysis experiment using plasticine has been also carried out. The results of the flow analysis experiment showed good agreement with those of the simulation. Therefore, the developed process design could be applied to the actual production.
