AGREE II를 이용한 턱관절 장애의 국내외 기개발 임상진료지침의 평가

Objectives This study is aimed to identify and evaluate the already developed clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and contribute to making decisions in developing Korean medicine CPG of TMD. Methods We searched electronic database and selected CPGs of TMD according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then, we made appraisal of selected CPGs by using AGREE II (Appraisal of Guidelines for Research & Evaluation II). Results Four CPGs are included and appraised with AGREE II. Among 6 domains of AGREE II, all CPGs failed to score over 60% in four domains. Only one CPG mentioned acupuncture as an adjunctive treatment for myofascial TMD. Conclusions It is difficult to indicate that included CPGs are with sufficient quality to recommend and it appears not to be appropriate to apply these already developed CPGs in Korean medicine clinical fields. Therefore, developing a new Korean medicine clinical practice guideline of TMD is required.
좌골신경통 백서모델에서 침치료의 효과: 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석

Objectives While sciatic neuropathy is one of the common symptoms which have the lifetime incidence of 13~40%, still there is no consensus about the standardized and the most effective conservative treatment. In addition, the importance of systematic review and meta-analysis of preclinical are growing as they could suggest possible effective treatment strategy for future studies. Therefore, we conducted systematic review and meta-analysis to estimate analgesic effect of acupuncture on sciatica in rat models. Methods Systematic search was conducted for all controlled comparative preclinical trials which assessed analgesic effect of acupuncture in sciatica rat models. Database of PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, CNKI and 6 Korean databases were used. The primary outcome was pain, which is evaluated by stimulus behavior tests in rat models. We assessed the methodological quality with Systematic Review Centre for Laboratory Animal Experimentation’s risk of bias tool. RevMan 5.3 was used for meta-analysis and subgroup analysis was conducted according to treatment site, acupuncture point, treatment period and frequency used in electroacupuncture. Results 14 studies were finally included following our inclusion criteria. The data from meta-analysis indicated that the acupuncture significantly improved the result values of behavior tests for pain evaluation, compared to no-treatment control group in animal models (standardized mean difference=4.43, 95% confidence interval 3.16 to 5.69, Z=6.84, p<0.00001; χ<sup>2</sup>=68.02, p<0.00001; I<sup>2</sup>=82%). The results of subgroup analysis indicate that acupuncture treatment of unilateral site, distal acupoints, longer treatment period and applying 2/100 Hz frequency in electroacupuncture could be more effective. Conclusions Systematic review and meta-analysis of animal studies are getting important for the future clinical studies and the improvement of heatlh care. Therefore the results of the study would provide evidence and better design for the forthcoming studies. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2020; 30(1):79-93)
서방형 이산화염소 가스 젤팩을 이용한 닭가슴육 저장 중 품질 변화

To prolong the shelf-life of chicken breast meat, samples were treated with gel packs containing slow-released chlorine dioxide ($ClO_2$) gas at 7~15 ppm for eight days at $4^{\circ}C$. The microbial, physicochemical properties and sensory evaluation of the treated samples were investigated. The total number of bacteria in the control increased during storage and showed 6.78 log CFU/g on the 8th day of storage, but $ClO_2$ gas treatments showed 6.24~6.58 log CFU/g at the same time. The initial pH of chicken breast meat was 6.00 and gradually increased during storage. And $ClO_2$ gas treatments did not show any significant difference from the control during storage period, but maintained a generally lower pH than that of the control. The lightness, redness, and yellowness during storage were not significantly different between the control and the 7~10 ppm $ClO_2$ gas treatments. However, as the storage period was increased, the redness of 15 ppm $ClO_2$ gas treatment was reduced. The cooking loss and shear force were not different between the control and $ClO_2$ gas treatments during the storage period. Volatile basic nitrogen (VBN) increased in the control from the 6th day of storage and 23.80 mg% in the 8th day of storage. However, VBN of $ClO_2$ treatments showed lower than that of the control. In the change of sensory evaluation during storage, 10 ppm $ClO_2$ treatment showed the highest preference in odor, appearance and overall acceptance during storage period.
수용성 고분자 3D프린팅을 활용한 튜브형 조직공학용 지지체 제작

Despite the extensive utilization of 3D printing, the direct printing of biomaterials has a limitation in terms of flexibility due to the original stiffness of material and limit of processing resolution. We overcame this limitation by incorporating dip-coating process with 3D printing of template. Briefly, 3D design was carried out on the basis of medical image data. According to the designed morphology, a sacrificial construct was 3D-printed using a water-soluble material. Thereafter, the 3D template was dip-coated with a solution of biomaterials. After the sacrificial template was removed by water, a micrometer-scale thin film tube could be obtained with retaining the 3D morphology. Owing to its thin geometry, the resulting structure exhibited a sufficient flexibility and suitable applicability to tubular scaffolds for tissue engineering. We demonstrated the feasibility by conducting animal surgery experiments and expect the universal applicability in other tubular tissue engineering such as vascular, airway, and abdominal organs.
