A shape estimation is needed to control actively a smart structure. A method is, hence, proposed to predict the deformed shape of the structure subjected to unknown external load using the signal from sensors attached to the structure. The shape estimation is based on the relationship between the deformation of the structure and the signal from the sensors. The matrix containing the relationship between the deformation and signal is obtained using fictitious force or eigenvector of global stiffness matrix. Then the deformed shape can be predicted using the linear matrix and signal from sensors attached to the structure. To verify this method, experiment and FEM were performed and it was shown that the shape estimation method based on the fictitious force predicts deflections well and more accurately than that based on eigenvector.

This study is intended to research into the realities of participation of the workes employed by companies in physical activities. To do so, used are four questions about the characteristics of the subjects of the study and nine ones about the actual conditions of workers’ participation in sports for all. The analyses of materials according to process lead to the following conciusions. 1) About a health condition, 4629% of the respondents(626) think themselves healthy, 40.55% doubtful and 13.16% sick. 2) It is shown that 77.23% of them take rogular or irreularl exercise, and 22.77%9146) of them do not exercise at all. 46.24% of the non-excerisers ascribes their non-exercise to lack of timo, 18.53% of them to absence of co-exercisers and the rest of them to no around-them facilities, money or especially interesting sports. 3) It is shown that 74.10% of the exerciseres 480 are engaged in physical activites mainly on behalf of health improvement 67.74% exercise with a frequency of two times a week, 21.30% three times, 13.96% over five times, 27.07% take exercisewith the duration of 40-50 minutes, 24.57% 30-40 minutes, 20.04% 20-30 minutes and 17.21% over 60 minutes. 4) Among those involved in physical activites(480), 49.73% exercise on holidays or weekends, 28.59% on every day, and 21.68% on weekdays. The expenses spent on their exercise are less than ₩50,000 for 60.64%, ₩50,000-70,000 for 26.74%, ₩70,000-100,000 for 10.76% and over ₩100,000 for 1.86%. 5) What they(480) complain about is lack of space and facilities for 33.20%, lack of continuance of exercise programs for 28.04%, formality for 24.63%, and need of a leader of sincerity for 14.13%, their participating in physical activities at work.

We design a new actuator of 3-axis motion for high performance optical devices. The actuator makes it possible to control the tilting motion by using moving magnet and PCB-coil, which have benefits in price and manufacturing. To predict the characteristics of the actuator, especially the effect of moving magnet, finite element method and electro-magnetic analysis were used. By comparing simulation data with experimental results, we verified the accuracy of the simulation and the superiority of the present.
민간영리 스포츠 시설로서의 수영장의 라이프 사이클과 경영전략에 관한 연구

We made a research on the sports facility managers who manage the commerical swinning center in seoul, Kwang Ju, Pusan and Taegu, The results are as follows: (1) The competitive strategy of swimming center consists of inner-differentiation strategy, outer-differentiation strategy and low cost strategy. (2) Inner-differentiation strategy is emphasized by the swimming center which sets the goal for growth maintenance. (3) Competitive stratgy of swimming center is determined by each stage in the life cycle theory ① Introduction stage : The emphasis of strategy is laid on inner-differentiation strategy. ② Growth stage : The emphasis of strategy is laid on both inner-differentiation strategy and outer-differentiation strategy ③ Decline stage : The emphasis of strategy is laid on outer-differentiation strategy with the aim to maintain.
Influence of Adenosine and Magnesium on Acetylcholine Release in the Rat Hippocampus

흰쥐 해마 (hippocampus)에서 acetylcholine(ACh) 유리에 미치는 adenosine 및 이에 미치는 magnesium의 역할에 관한 지견을 얻고자하여 $[^3H]-choline$으로 평형시킨 해마 slice를 사용하여 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리에 미치는 여러가지 약물들의 영향을 관찰하였다. Adenosine $^*0.3{\sim}100{\mu}M$)은 전기자극 (3 Hz, $5\;Vcm^{-1}$, 2 ms, rectangular pulses)에 의한 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리를 용량 의존적으로 감소시켰다. $A_1-adenosine$ 수용체 차단제인 8-cyclopentyl-1, 3-dipropylxanthine $(DPCPX,\;1-10\;{\mu}M)$은 용량 의존적으로 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리를 증가시켰으며, adenosine과 $2{\mu}M$ DPCPX 동시 투여시 adenosine의 효과가 억제됨을 볼 수 있었다. $A_2$-수용체 흥분제인 5-(N-cyclopropyl)-carboxamidoadenosine $(CPCA,\;0.3{\sim}30\;{\mu}M)$은 자극에 의한 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리를 용량 의존적으로 감소시켰으며, 이 역시 $2\;{\mu}M$ DPCPX 동시 투여시 그 효과가 차단됨을 관찰할 수 있었다. 그러나 또다른 $A_2$-흥분약인 CGS 21680C는 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리에 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 한편 관류액내의 magnesium 농도를 변화시켰을때 magnesium 그 자체로는 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리에 별다른 변화가 없었으며, magnesium을 4 mM로 증가시켰을때 adenosine의 효과가 크게 강화되어 용량 반응 곡선이 좌측으로 이동됨을 볼 수 있었다. 이상의 실험 결과로 adenosine은 흰쥐 해마의 choline 작동성 신경에 presynaptic $A_1-adenosine$ heteroreceptor를 통하여 ACh 유리 감소를 일으키며, 이러한 adenosine 작용은 magnesium이온에 의존적임을 알 수 있었다. As it has been reported that the depolarization-induced ACh release is modulated by activation of presynaptic $A_1-adenosine$ heteroreceptor in hippocampus and various lines of evidence indicate the adenosine effect is magnesium dependent, the present study was undertaken to delineate the role of endogenus adenosine as a modulator of hippocampal acetylcholine release in this study. Slices from the rat hippocampus were equilibrated with $[^3H]-choline$ and the release of the labelled product, $[^3H]-ACh$, was evoked by electrical stimulation(3Hz, $5\;V\;cm^{-1},$ 2ms, rectangular pulses), and the influence of various agents on the evoked tritium outflow was investigated. Adenosine, in concentrations ranging from $0.3\;to\;100\;{\mu}M$, decreased the $[^3H]-ACh$ release in a dose-dependent manner without changing the basal rate of release. $DPCPX(1{\sim}10{\mu}M)$, a selective $A_1-receptor$ antagonist, increased the $[^3H]-ACh$ release in a dose-related fashion with slight increase of basal tritium release. And the effects of adenosine were significantly inhibited by $DPCPX(2{\mu}M)$ treatment. CPCA, a specific $A_2-agonist$, in concentration ranging from $0.3\;to\;30\;{\mu}M$ decreased evoked tritium outflow with increase of basal rate of tritium release, and these effects were also abolished by $DPCPX(2{\mu}M)$ pretreatment. But, $CGS(0.1{\sim}10{\mu}M)$, a recently introduced potent $A_2-agonist$, did not alter the evoked tritium outflow. When the magnesium concentration of the medium was reduced to 0 mM, there was no change in evoked ACh release by adenosine. In contrast, increasing the magnesium concentration to 4 mM, the inhibitory effects of adenosine were significantly potentiated. These results indicate that $A_1-adenosine$ heteroreceptor is involved in ACh-release in the rat hippocampus and the inhibitory effects of adenosine mediated by $A_1-receptor$ is magnesium-dependent.

가토 해마(hippocampus)에서 acetylcholine(ACh) 유리에 미치는 cAMP의 역할에 관한 지견을 얻고자하여 $[^3H]-choline$으로 평형시킨 해마 slice 및 시냅토솜(synaptosome)을 사용하여 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리에 미치는 여러가지 약물들의 영향을 관찰하였다. Adenylate cyclase 활성화제인 forskolin$(0.1{\sim}30{\mu}M)$은 전기 및 고농도 $K^+$ 자극에 의한 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리를 용량 의존적으로 증가시켰으며, dbcAMP 또한 ACh 유리를 강화시켰다. Muscarine성 흥분제인 oxotremorine$(0.1{\sim}30{\mu}M)$은 전기 및 $K^+$ 자극에 의한 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리 효과를 용량 의존적으로 감소시켰으며, 이러한 효과는 forskolin 및 atropine에 의하여 차단됨을 관찰할 수 있었다. 한편 $K^+-channel$ 억제제인 glibenclamide$(1,\;10{\mu}M)$는 자체로는 $K^+$ 자극에 의한 $[^3H]-ACh$ 유리를 약간 억제시킴을 관찰할 수 있었으며, 대량의 forskolin$(10\;{\mu}M)$에 의한 $[^3H]-ACh$의 증가효과를 감약시킴을 알 수 있었다. 이상의 실험 결과로 가토 해마의 presynaptic muscarinic autoreceptor를 통한 ACh 유리의 조절에는 세포내 cAMP의 관여가 확실하다 하겠으나, 일부 $K^+-currents$의 관여를 배제할 수는 없을 것으로 사료된다. As it has been reported that the depolarization-induced release of acetylcholine(ACh) is diminished by activation of presynaptic muscarinic autoreceptor in rabbit hippocampus and various lines of evidence indicate the involvement of adenylate cyclase system in ACh release, it was attempted to delineate the role of cAMP in the muscarinic autoreceptor-mediated control of ACh release. Slices and synaptosomal preparations from rabbit hippocampus were incubated with $[^3H]-choline$ and the release of the labelled products was evoked either by electrical stimulation or by $high-K^+$, and the influence of various agents on the evoked tritium release was investigated. Forskolin, a specific adenylate cyclase activator, in concentrations ranging from $0.1\;to\;30\;{\mu}M$, increased the $[^3H]-ACh$ release in a dose-dependent manner and also dbcAMP increased the tritium outflow. The responses to oxotremorine, a specific muscarinic agonist, were characterized by decrement of ACh release in dose range of $0.1-30\;{\mu}M$, and the oxotremorine effects were inhibited either by forskolin or by atropine. Glibenclamide, a specific $K^+-channel$ inhibitor, in concentration of $1{\sim}10\;{\mu}M$, decreased the evoked ACh release slightly and inhibited the enhancing effect of evoked ACh-release of a large dose$(10\;{\mu}M)$ of forskolin. These results indicate that the cAMP might play a role in the muscarinic ACh receptor-mediated control of ACh rlease in the rabbit hippocampus and suggest that certain potassium currents may also be participated in the post-receptor mechanism of ACh release.

지구성 운동이 심혈관 질환 예측인자인 ANP & BNP에 미치는 영향

The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of endurance training in atrial natriuretic peptide & brain natriuretic peptide. For this study, 16 healthy young men were selected. Subjects participated in 12 weeks of running to four times per week for 30-40minutes. Statistical techniques for data analysis were a descriptive statistics and repeated ANOVA. The results of this study were as following; 1. Atrial natriuretic peptide was shown a case of decreasing after 6 weeks, but after 12 weeks have decreased significantly. Especially, ANP was significantly lower after 12 weeks than after both 6 weeks and 0 weeks at all the blood sampling time. 2. Brain natriuretic peptide was shown a case of decreasing after 6 weeks at all the blood sampling time, but there was no significant difference. Also, BNP was significantly lower after 12 weeks than after both 6 weeks and 0 weeks at post-maximal exercise These data suggest that endurance exercise significantly decreased ANP & BNP levels in healthy men, and the decreases could be partially attributed to cardiovascular functions.
