Plant simulators are developed generally for operator training and control logic verification using design data during construction. The design data during construction are partially different from the operation data after the commercial operation, and the fidelity of the simulator becomes lower than the initial operation due to deterioration, remodeling, and upgrade of the operating power generation facilities. This study aims to increase fidelity of the valve process simulator model by adjusting the parameters in the direction of increasing the model accuracy with respect to the field operation data by comparing it with simulator data. The performance is verified using plant operation data.
안면 표정 분석을 위한 Facial EMG 기반 주파수 특징을 이용한 합성곱 신경망

fEMG는 안면 근육의 미세한 움직임을 감지하는 생체 신호이며 얼굴의 표정이나 감정을 측정하는 도구로서 연구되고 있다. fEMG 신호는 민감하여 잡음에 취약하며 이를 제거하기 위해 전처리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 fEMG 신호의 전처리와 합성곱 신경망 모델을 통한 안면 표정 분석을 진행한다. 원시 fEMG 신호를 20~450Hz 주파수 대역으로 대역 통과 필터링하고 60Hz에서 노치 필터링한 뒤, 이를 이용하여 안면 표정을 분석하는 합성곱 신경망 기반 모델을 제안한다. 제안한 2D 합성곱 신경망 모델은 기존에 제안된 머신러닝 기법인 LDA에 비해 8.27%p 더 높은 정확도를 보였으며, 비지도 LDA보다는 7.28%p 더 향상되었다. 실험 결과는 fEMG 신호를 사용한 2D 합성곱 신경망 기법이 안면 표정 분석에 효과적임을 보여준다.

Safety and stability of the unicycle robots are critical for their operation, and hence they must be tested for such aspects. However, the objectivity and repeatability of the tests cannot be guaranteed with human operators, and some tests under certain conditions cannot even be run at all due to the safety of the operator. To solve this problem, we propose an ATD (anthropomorphic test device) capable of reproducing the human rider’s behavior on the unicycle robot. An ATD is designed to have two prismatic joints to implement the change of center of gravity of the human operator in forward/backward and lateral direction. The reference profiles for two prismatic joints of the ATD that guarantee the same dynamic effect with the human rider’s behavior are designed using a cascade control loop in consideration of dynamic interaction between the reference trajectories and the unicycle robot dynamics. A sliding mode controller was designed and implemented to control the prismatic joints such that ATD mimics the human rider’s motion intent accurately and thereby the unicycle robot could be driven by the ATD as human operator drives. Feasibility of the proposed ATD was verified through computer simulations.

The performance of post-installed anchors subjected to tensile loads is investigated experimentally for different concrete strengths, crack widths and reinforcement ratios. Anchors with certification for seismic retrofit are installed in concrete blocks with an artificially induced crack passing through an anchor hole. Monotonic or cyclic loading protocols are applied to specimens after opening a crack to a target width. Experimentally measured strengths are compared with nominal strengths on the certificate and design strength based on design codes. Anchor displacements at different loads are investigated to examine current design guidelines for seismic retrofit.

The extant study on customer satisfaction in the beauty salon has not been conducted yet. This study may be the first empirical study of customer satisfaction in the beauty salon. This paper explores empirically the effects of service quality on customer satisfaction in the service encounter of beauty salon, in addition to customers" service expectation. Also we try to answer the question, ""What is the major reason for the customer to show the service satisfaction toward specific beauty salon?"" By introducing service expectation and encounter service quality as new determinants of customer satisfaction, we have introduced a conceptual model with parsimony and higher explanatory adequacy. The results show that encounter technical service quality and functional service quality have direct effect on customer satisfaction as important factors. Technical service quality has been proved to be the most influential one when we regard the effect of the variables upon customer satisfaction. However, it should be emphasized that it is necessary to conduct encounter functional service quality, as well as technical service quality, to increase customer satisfaction.

Monotonic and cyclic shear tests for bonded anchors and expansion anchors in concrete were conducted in order to investigate the influence of the concrete strength, crack width and loading protocol. Crack is induced artificially through the whole depth of concrete member in which anchors are installed and monitored during tests for cracked concrete. Based on the test result, characteristic strengths corresponding to a 5% probability of nonexceedance with a confidence of 90% and minimum strengths are obtained and compared with reference strengths including characteristic strengths in the technical approval of each anchor and design strength based on domestic design codes. In addition, anchor displacements at the reference strengths are interpolated from load-displacement curves, and appropriate reference strengths is proposed for anchor design that can limit the anchor displacement.
