The purpose of this study is seek to the characteristics of Korea traditional houses appeared on modern transferring process and to examine diverse house types that had been appeared on transferring process through the field research on Do-Jin village and house types. As the result of this study, the first, the changing characteristics of houses with the times were examined through tracing about house types established by modern transformation with Do-Jin village’s diverse private types. The second, this study had drawn to the distinct characteristics of the area that coexist new and olden houses types since the modern period. These results is relation to ‘the local situation’ with the contiguous area, flat area and mountain area dwelling and ‘the modern situation’ of the Do-Jin village. Therefore the results of study are aim to leave for the historical datum about acceptance of modern dwelling.

'Sohawjang' is the first apartment house built in Busan the modern period, 1944. 'Sohawjang' needs to be apprised its value as an very important object of study with architectural and dwelling historic meaning because multi-family houses built in Japanese Rule Era that now exist in Korea are very rare. Thus, this study attempted to leave records to archive by conducting face to face interviews and surveying on 'Sohawjang' which is seriously in danger of extinction and its original form damage as the first step. Especially, around Korea's Liberation, this study tried to extract transformation characteristics of residential space and cultural differences appeared on differences of occupants having different nationality. Through these results, this study attempted to examine the era of apartment house and transformation characteristics and values of modern dwelling historic dimension according to changes of users appeared in Busan modern period. Through this study, it offers basic data about introduction and transition processes of an apartment house in Korea. It has an meaning of suggestion reference data for original form preservations or regenerations.

Cities developed by prosperity of industrial activities are inflated due to the rapid influx of the urban population. In the process, their structure was reorganized with overall urban redevelopment methods. As the a results from the propulsion of overall redevelopment plan, the city environment exposed uniform urban landscapes, absence of sense of place for permanent abodes and other urban problems. At the beginning of the 21st century, people with introspections on the problems focused their attention on making their places attractive using their place's unique identity so that people could feel like to stay there for a long time. They tried to regenerate buildings and cities while still maintaining spatial and historical context of their living environment. This study looks into the regeneration of Shikumen Linong House as a fine example of such a redevelopment in order to provide with a practical resource for urban redevelopment plans in Korea. The study in the first content examines the formation processes of the city of Shanghai as the gateway of the modern China. In the second, it looks into the formation processes and characteristics of Shikumen Linong House in the Xintiandi complex between 1920 and 1930's. In the end, it analyses spatial and formational characteristics and the applied dwelling regeneration method for the of Shikumen Linong House in the Xintiandi complex.

This study is targeted at Tianzifang among city regeneration district in Shanghai in China attempts to analyze physical, characteristics of space appeared on Tianzifang after middle of 20th. For this study, we had three times site survey and experimental study. As a results of this study, Tianzifang, residential District, formed in 1920’s hold together with factories and modern buildings through the period of innovation in Shanghai, and a singular residential district added artistic creating space with cultural and commercial function. Thus, Tianzifang was changed as mixed-used residential district. Tianzifang is a specific case that was regenerated as ‘Horizontal’ high-density commercial culture district in contrast of vertical high-density commercial area.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the architectural restoration theories and works and suggest a planning directions and consideration points for the architectural restoration. This study is consisted of four areas as followings: The first part, as a theoretical study, reviews the research method of this study. The second part, the concept of time and the principal caratheristics of architectural restoration and its scope. The third part, focalizes the changes of modern architectural restoration concepts after 19th century. The last part, as a field planning, analyses the characteristics ofl restoration planning and architecture. The result of analytical reviews is synthesized and used to suggest the major strategies and guidances for the future of architectural restoration in terms of physical, socio-cultural, and institutional aspects under consideration of actual situations.
OMS/MP 및 유사체계 야전운용데이터를 활용한 감시체계 A의 RAM 목표값 설정 개선 방안

In this study, an improved method of setting the RAM goals for surveillance system using OMS/MP and field operations data of similar systems is suggested and a case study of surveillance system A is given. Newly suggested methods for setting the RAM goals consist of the procedures such as On/Off time analysis of configuration equipment based on OMS/MP, field operations data analysis of similar systems, adjustment of preventive maintenance time, the number of corrective maintenances, and TALDT in wartime, introducing new subsystem to reliability structure of surveillance system, and reflecting expert's opinion. A case study of surveillance system A shows that newly suggested method in this study for setting the RAM goals is reasonably acceptable and practically applicable to other similar systems.

In this research, items and contents of SONAR were derived from investigation of OMS/MP of previously-operated submarines and domestic and international references related to weapon system. Such items and contents were established in detail and were categorized into four separate groups after consulting system design experts and specialists in the field of SONAR's operation. Ultimately, based on wartime and peacetime scenario and operation concept of SONAR, RAM values were obtained through various methods using submarine-operating records and maintenance records for the past eleven years.

In this paper, we deal with a simulation-based reliability and maintainability design problem of a warship and want to determine the optimal values of MTBF and MTTR of all units and ALDT of the warship. The system availability and life cycle cost are used as optimization criteria and estimated by simulation. A hybrid genetic algorithm with a heuristic method is proposed to find near-optimal solutions and numerical examples are also studied to investigate the effect of model parameters to the optimal solutions and compare with a general genetic algorithm.
