        화학 흡수를 이용한 KOH 수용액의 이산화탄소 포집 성능에 관한 연구

        수산화칼륨(KOH) 수용액을 이용한 CO₂ 포집에 관한 연구를 수행한 결과 K2CO₃ 생성 및 KHCO₃가 생성되는 화학흡수 반응이 순차적으로 일어났고 그 후 CO₂ 물리흡수가 일어남으로써 전 반응이 종료되었다. KOH가 한계 반응물인 회분식 흡수 에서 K2CO₃의 생성 속도는 OH- 농도에 관해 1차 반응이며 KHCO₃ 생성 속도는 CO₃ 2- 농도에 0차 반응으로 흡수 속도는 0.18 gCO₂/min으로 계산되었고 이 값은 K2CO₃ 수용액에서의 흡수 속도와 일치한다. 5% KOH 흡수제의 CO₂ 포집율의 경우 1구간 에서 57%, 2구간에서 12% 이었으며 전체 19%로 측정되었다. KOH 흡수제의 CO₂ 포집양은 이론값보다 2~3% 정도 작았는데 그 이유는 KHCO₃ 이외 K2CO₃·KHCO₃·1.5H₂O가 생성되는 부 반응이 동반되기 때문으로 판단된다. The present paper investigates the performance of the KOH aqueous solution as an absorbent to capture carbon dioxide (CO₂). The chemical absorption was carried out according to consecutive reactions that are generated in the order of K2CO₃ and KHCO₃. The overall absorption was completed with following the physical absorption. When the absorption was conducted with the KOH as the limiting reactants in batch a reactor, K2CO₃ production rate was the 1st order reaction for OH-. However, KHCO₃ generation reaction was independent of the CO₃ 2- concentration and the rate was calculated to be 0.18 gCO₂/min for all KOH absorbents, which is the same value of the reaction rate using K2CO₃ aqueous solution as the absorbents. The overall CO₂ capture ratio of the 5% KOH absorbent was estimated to be 19% and the individual value in section 1 and 2 was 57 and 12%, respectively. The amount of CO₂ absorbed in the solution was very slightly less than the theoretical value, which was ascribed to the side reaction that produces K2CO₃·KHCO₃·1.5H₂O during the reaction and the consequent diminish in CO₂ absorption in the KOH solution.

        십자형 용접 시편의 3차원 용접 잔류응력 분포 예측에 관한 연구

        Fillet welding accounts for about 80% of all constructing process of ship and ocean structure. T-joint is one of the typical shapes which are frequently reported to experience the fatigue damage when the marine structure meets the storm loads. The fatigue damage is affected by the magnitude of residual stresses on the weld. Recently, many shipping registers and design guidances have required that the fatigue strength assessment method should be compensated by the effect of the residual stress in case that the random loading or storm loading is applied to the marine vessels. This study suggests the computational procedure to analyze the residual stresses of T-joint specimen that is frequently reported to get damaged by the storm loading. Experiment by XRD as well as the 3-D computational welding model is presented in order to get the profile of residual stress. Throughout the comparison of experimental result with the computational result, the computational model was validated. Thereafter, characteristics of he residual stresses in the joint are discussed.

        Leisure boat and yacht should be designed to meet the domestic regulation and international standards as large merchant vessels. Recently, ISO (International Standards Organization) is required to be applied to the design and construction of leisure boats such catamarans and small yachts. Furthermore domestic rule for the design of catamaran has not activated by domestic rule or regulations. This study has developed the rule scantling programs that can be used to design the sailing catamarans based on ISO TC-188 in 12215 rule and Lloyd register rules. Using the program, we calculate the design load and estimate the attributes of the structural members that are supposed to satisfy the regulation and standards. High speed boat design rule of Korea Register (KR) and scantling rules defined in special service craft of Lloyd Register (LR) rule are compared with that of ISO international standards. In order to get the magnitude of design load and structural strength, FRP catamaran and Aluminum catamaran are analyzed by finite element analysis. The structural strength of the catamarans is assessed based on the design load suggested by KR, LR and ISO standard. Thereafter, the structural strength and structural design requirement of each classification rule and ISO international standard are compared. Finally, the initial design procedure and the appropriate structural strength evaluation processes that can be applied to the catamaran design are explained.

        변동하중하의 잔류응력을 고려한 십자형 용접부의 잔존 수명 예측에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the crack propagation life assessment of T-joint welded structure where typical fatigue cracks have been frequently initiated when the marine vessels experience the storm load. Welding residual stresses are calculated to investigate its effects on the fatigue life. Thereafter the residual stress distribution was applied to the AFGROW life prediction program, which incorporated the loading, the welding residual stress, and the geometric shape of the structure. The fatigue tests of the T-joint welded specimen under storm loading show the beach mark clearly generated on the fractured section of the weldment. The crack propagation life estimated based on the beach mark is compared with that of AFGROW to validate the life prediction. Based on the results, the evaluation method of the remaining fatigue life for T-joint fillet weldment of marine vessel's cargo hold with random load or storm load was established.

        요양병원 실태조사를 통한 입소자 적용 피난기구 개발

        Long-term Care Hospital are facilities for long-term care and treatment of geriatric disease, etc. and are mainly hospitalized for the elderly and infirm who have difficulty moving and need the help of others in evacuation. Most of the residents have decreased cognitive and physical functions, which can lead to large-scale casualties in disaster situations such as fires. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate evacuation devices that can be applied in the event of a fire in long-term Care Hospital and to derive evacuation devices that consider the characteristics of actual residents. To this end, a survey was conducted on five nursing homes in Jeollabuk-do (general status of facilities, types of residents, operating personnel, and evacuation devices) and a survey was conducted on nursing home workers. Residents of long-term care hospital were categorized into unable to self-evacuate, uncomfortable to self-evacuate, and able to self-evacuate groups according to whether they were able to self-evacuate. Of the 923 residents in the five nursing homes, 630 (68.3%) were unable to self-evacuate, 178 (19.3%) were uncomfortable to self-evacuate, and 115 (12.5%) were able to self-evacuate. In addition, the fact that 75.8% of the operating personnel in the nursing home are women (total 472 workers; 114 men and 358 women) and the absolute majority of residents who can not self-evacuate (87.6%) led to the proposal of a wheelchair-combined elevating evacuation device that can be applied in the event of a fire. When using it, up to three people in the self-evacuation group can evacuate, while the self-evacuation inconvenient group and the self-evacuation impossible group can evacuate with the evacuation personnel in wheelchairs. In the future, it is necessary to study the efficiency of applying the proposed evacuation devices for each resident through fire and evacuation simulations using each evacuation device proposed in this study.

        동물개념 교육에 활용 가능한 야생동물형 캐릭터의 시각표현 연구

        만 3∼5세의 미취학 유아들에게 제공되는 많은 도서와 영상 콘텐츠들 속에서 동물 캐릭터의 사용은 일반화되어 있으며, 재현된 대부분의 동물은 의인화되어 표현되고 있다. 다양한 미디어 속 동물 캐릭터와 현실속 야생동물을 유아들은 어떻게 인지하고, 실제 동물에 대한 어떠한 오개념을 가지고 있는지에 대한 질문이 이 연구의 출발점이라고 할 수 있다. 2013년 3월부터 시행된 만 3∼5세 유아를 위한 연령별 누리과정은 5가지 영역으로 구성되어 있으며, 마지막 자연탐구의 영역에 대한 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 특히, 교사 및 유아가 활용할 수 있는 자료에 대한 개발 및 동물개념을 확립하기 위한 교육이 매우 부족한 것으로 조사되었다. 많은 선행 연구들이 유아에게 다양한 동식물 관련 직접 체험의 기회를 제공하는 교육프로그램을 제공하는 반면에, 이 연구는 직접 체험이 불가능한 야생동물개념을 교육할 때 사용될 수 있는 영상미디어 자료의 제작을 위한 동물형 캐릭터의 시각적 표현법에 관한 것이다. 문헌연구, 사전 조사 및 유아들과의 1:1 인터뷰의 결과를 바탕으로 유아들이 캐릭터의 정체성을 어떻게 파악하고 이해하고 있는지에 대한 분석하고, 유아들의 판단 기준과 이해를 바탕으로 동물이라고 정의될 수 있는 동물형 캐릭터 제작 원리를 제안하고자 한다. 야생동물개념을 전달할 수 있는 시각적 표현 단계를 5단계 정도로 분류하여 모델을 제작한 후, 유아들에게 캐릭터의 정체성에 관한 검증이 이루어졌다. 야생동물개념을 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 교육용 영상 콘텐츠 제작 시, 이와 같은 조사 및 검증의 결과를 토대로 제안된 의인화단계, 시각적 표현 요소 및 원리를 참고할 수 있도록 제시하고자 한다. There is no doubt that the use of animal characters in many books and media contents for children is the convention and most of them are anthropomorphized. This research started from the questions of how the children ages 3∼5 could understand both animal characters in media and real wildlife animals and what kinds of misconception they have about wildlife animals. The government’s policy on education for 3∼5 year-old children, which is called “Nuri”, has been carried on from 2013 and the education about nature has been gradually emphasized. Moreover the learning materials about nature and animals for the both of teachers and children should be developed and offered as soon as possible because there is no useful and enough audio-visual learning materials except for books. Therefore, this study is to investigate and define the visual representations of wildlife animals in order to design audio-visual learning resources for 3∼5 year-old children. The principles of designing wildlife animals, that should not raise a question about the identity of characters, are going to be introduced in the end of this paper. The principles and notions of wildlife animal characters are established on the related literature research, pilot test and 1:1 interviews with 3∼5 year-old children. In other words, the main purpose of this study is to define the notions of wildlife animal in terms of early childhood education and also to suggest the principles of designing wildlife animals and to explore the various ranges of representing wildlife animals for producing educational contents(the genre of animated documentary.
