The leakage of cryogenic LNG through cracks in the insulation membrane of an LNG carrier causes the hull structure to experience a cold spot as a result of the heat transfer from the LNG. The hull structure will become brittle at this cold spot and the evaporated natural gas may potentially lead to a hazard because of its flammability. This paper presents a computational model for the LNG flow and heat diffusion in an LNG insulation panel subject to leakage. The temperature distribution in the insulation panel and the speed of gas diffusion through it are simulated to assess the safety level of an LNG carrier subject that experiences a leak. The behavior of the leaked LNG is modeled using a multiphase flow that considers the mixture of liquid and gas. The simulation model considers the phase change of the LNG, gas-liquid multiphase interactions in the porous media, and accompanying rates of heat transfer. It is assumed that the N096-GW membrane storage is composed of glass wool and plywood for the numerical simulation. In the numerical simulation, the seepage, heat diffusion, and evaporation of the LNG are investigated. It is found that the diffusion speed of the leakage is very high to accelerate the evaporation of the LNG.

The prognosis of young patients with hepatocellular carcinoma is remains controversial. Here we report a case of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma in twenty, successfully treated with transarterial chemolipidolization (TACL), systemic chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgical resection. Previously healthy 28 years old woman was admitted for treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. Abdominal CT showed a diffuse infiltrative HCC involving both lobes with intrahepatic bile duct invasion and pericardial lymphadenopathy. She was treated TAC with systemic chemotherapy and external beam radiotherapy. 6 months after these treatments, main tumor and the pericardial lymph node were decreased in size. And then extended left lobectomy and systemic chemotherapy were done. The pericardial lymph node was markedly decreased. The patient has been followed for 10 months without evidence of regional tumor recurrence.

The purpose of this research is to provide the future housing of Nishimura with the improvement of the residential style that is not characteristic of Nishimura, and the characteristics of the Han and the housing complex. Seochon area is designated as Hanok preservation district in 2010 and attracts attention as sightseeing spot. However, since the redevelopment of residential areas since the Japanese colonial rule, the figure of Socun has disappeared. As of 2010, the proportion of hanok and non-hanok is 36% and 64%. As residential redevelopment proceeded, the housing characteristics of Sukchon could not be saved, and multi-family houses similar in appearance came in. In this process, the problem of getting lost in the appearance of the Seochon.

In order to measure the minute amount of Cu(II) in our environment, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square-wave stripping voltammetry (SWSV) were performed for a trace copper assay using bismuth immobilized on a carbon nanotube paste electrode. An analytical working range of 30 to 240 μg/L Cu(II) was obtained for CV and SWSV. The SWSV precision obtained was 0.47 % (n = 15) RSD in 30.0 μg/L Cu(II). The detection limit obtained was 3.1 ng/L Cu(II) using SWSV, while the CV yielded the nano-range detection limit through the pre-concentration step. By using this research method, Cu(II) value could be determined in the urine of human sample and in the brain of fish sample. This research can be effectively applied to other cases of measuring minute amount of Cu(II) in living organisms.

It is important to assess and improve the warship survivability for the weapon threats which have an critical effect on warship. Warship Survivability is defined as the capability of a warship to avoid or withstand a man-made hostile environment. The survivability of the warship consists of three categories (susceptibility, vulnerability and recoverability). Firstly, the susceptibility is defined as the inability of a warship to avoid radars, guns, missiles and ETC. Secondly, the vulnerability is defined as the inability of a warship to withstand the man-made hostile environment. Finally, the recoverability is defined as the ability of a warship to recover the damaged components and systems. This paper has described the vulnerability assessment for the hypothetical system which is composed of critical components. Also, the procedure based on the CAVART model is suggested to calculate the vulnerable probability of the damaged warship.
