N/A Background/Aims : Generally, it is recommended for patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease to sleep with the head of the bed elevated; however, many patients in Korea do not have heartburn symptoms during the night. Methods: We investigated the pattern of acid reflux in patients who were diagnosed as having definite pathological acid reflux on 24-hour pH monitoring. Results : One hundred patients were categorized into 3 groups; upright refluxer (68%), supine refluxer (2%), or combined refluxer (30%). Acid reflux was rare in supine positions but instead, usually occurred in upright positions. Acid reflux was found to occur most commonly after meals. The reflux symptoms occurred during pH monitoring with the average frequency of 5.5 times (total of 254 times) in 46 patients. The acid related symptoms were more common in the upright period and postprandially than the supine period. The presence of an esophagitis, an esophageal motility disorder, or the LES pressure did not make a significant difference between upright refluxer and supine refluxer. Conclusions : Gastroesophageal reflux was found to be rare in supine positions but usually occurred in upright positions. Gastroesophageal reflux occurred most commonly after meals, and was frequently associated with reflux symptoms.

For an application as templates of high performance with proper pore size and shape, porous anodic alumina films were prepared by anodization in oxalic acid, and formation behaviors of anodic alumina layer as well as dissolution process in acid solution have been investigated. The surface characteristics on anodic alumina layer were shown to be dependent on the fabrication parameters for anodization. For the dissolution behaviors of anodic alumina, the thickness of the barrier-type alumina layer decreased linearly with the rate of 0.98 ㎚/min in H3PO4 solution at 30℃. The changes of the anodic alumina layers were analyzed by SEM and TEM.

Porous Al₂O₃ film can be utilized as template for fabrication of nano-structured materials. Porous anodic alumina layer as template was prepared by anodization of aluminum in oxalic acid, and the pore diameter and barrier-type alumina layer can be controlled for proper anodizing parameter by widening process in H₃PO₄ solution. The SiO₂ nanodot and Ni nanowire was fabricated using anodic alumina template and their characteristics were investigated using SEM and TEM with EDS. Especially the growth mechanism of SiO₂ nanodot in alumina membrane compared with thinning of the alumina barrier layer during anodization was also investigated.

무주택 저소득층의 주거안정을 위해서는 국민임대주택의 활성화가 필요하다는 전제 아래, 본 연구는 국민임대주택시장의 구조에 대한 간명한 인식을 통해 정책적 시사점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 진행되었다. 국민임대주택시장의 구조를 파악하기 위한 방법으로 시스템 다이내믹스 방법론의 일환인 인과지도를 활용하였으며, 인과지도에 포함된 주요 영향요인은 선행연구의 검토를 통해 추출하였다. 본 연구에서 작성된 국민임대주택시장의 인과지도는 「저소득층의 입주기회」, 「주거만족도」, 「국민임대주택에 대한 인식」이라는 세 가지 요인을 통해 확산된 「국민임대주택수요」가 「정부의 국민임대주택정책 활성화」로 이어지고, 이러한 흐름이 수요 측면과 공급 측면 모두에게 전달되어 최종적으로 다시 국민임대주택의 수요를 진작시키는 선 순환적 양의 피드백 루프를 나타내었다. 따라서 국민임대주택시장 구조에서 양의 피드백루프를 형성하게 하는 핵심요인은 곧 국민임대주택의 수요를 진작시키는 「저소득층 입주기회」, 「주거만족도」, 「국민임대주택에 대한 인식」이라고 볼 수 있다. 이를 통해 정부가 세 가지 핵심요인들을 진작시킬 수 있는 정책을 펴는 것이 국민임대주택시장의 활성화를 도모할 수 있는 방안이라는 함의를 얻을 수 있다. On the condition that the activation of public rental housing is necessary for low income households, this study suggests that the political issue needs to be seen through clear recognition of the structure of the public rental housing market. For this, Causal Loop Diagram, which is a part of system dynamics methodology, was used and the main influential factors included in the Casual Loop Diagram were extracted through a review of preliminary studies. The Casual Loop Diagram of the public rental housing market in this study indicates a virtuous-circle feedback loop that demands public rental houses, and is diffused into three factors: 1. Opportunity for low-income housing 2. Satisfaction with housing 3. Recognition of public rental housing. These factors continue to demonstrate the needs to activate the governmental housing policy, and this flow influences both demand and supply, and ultimately boosts demand for the public rental house again. The core reason for forming the virtuous-circle feedback loop in the public rental housing market is due to the recognition of the three factors which boost the demand for public rental housing. Therefore, there is a undertone that the government needs to beef up those three factors in order to activate the public rental housing market.
