현행 고교 한국사 교과서의 독립운동사 서술현황과 개선방향

현재 한국 사회는 근현대사 교과서를 둘러싸고 논란이 벌어지고 있다. 이는 대한민국의 교육현장에서 사용되고 있는 고교용 『한국사』 교과서들이 문제점을 안고 있기 때문으로 보인다. 이로 인해 현행의 『한국사』 교과서들은 자라나는 세대들에게 올바른 국가관과 민족관을 심어줌으로써 그들을 건전한 민주시민으로 육성한다고 하는 국사교육 본연의 임무를 완수하는데 미흡하다는 평을 듣고 있다. 이 연구는 현행 6종의 『한국사』 교과서의 일제시기 독립운동사 서술내용을 분석한 것이다. 현행 『한국사』 교과서들의 한국독립운동사 서술경향은 대략 네 가지로 정리된다. 즉, 『한국사』 교과서들은 1) 무장독립전쟁과 의열투쟁을 중시하고, 2) 민족유일당운동(민족통일전선)과 한중연대활동(한중연합전선)을 주목하고, 3) 다소간 반미친소적인 시각으로 국제적 사건이나 인물을 인식하고, 4) 약소국이 중시해야 하는 외교독립운동을 경시하는 서술경향을 보였다. 이로 인해 무장독립전쟁이나 민족통합(+국공합작)노선에 대한 서술분량과 외교독립운동이나 실력양성운동에 대한 서술분량에 편차가 생겼다고 생각한다. 『한국사』 교과서들은 일제강점기 독립운동사 서술에서 온건론보다는 급진론에 더 많은 지면을 할애하였다. 온건론에 속하는 실력양성운동이나 외교독립운동에 대한 서술이 충분치 못한 반면, 그 대척관계에 있는 무장독립전쟁이나 의열투쟁에 대한 서술은 비교적 자세하게 되어 있다. 그러나 일제강점기 한국실정과 국제정세에 비추어 전자나 후자나 독립운동사에서 차지하는 위상은 동등하였다. 따라서 앞으로 『한국사』 교과서를 개정할 때에 무장독립전쟁이나 의열투쟁에 대한 서술분량과 실력양성운동과 외교독립운동에 대한 서술분량을 균등하게 가져갈 필요가 있다고 생각한다. 『한국사』 교과서들은 한국 근현대사에서 대표적인 온건론자 가운데 한 사람인 이승만의 활동을 거의 기술하지 않았다. 즉, 『한국사』 교과서들은 친미적 국제관에 기초한 기독교민족주의를 한국에 이식하려 하고, 좌우합작과 민공협동을 배격하는 반공주의를 이념적 기초로 삼고, 미국을 무대로 활동하면서 의열투쟁을 반대하고 실력양성운동과 외교독립운동을 지지한 이승만의 활동을 다루지 않았다. 이는 이승만보다 역사적 중요도가 낮은 인물에 대한 독사진이 들어간 반면, 이승만 사진이 꼭 들어가야 하는 부분에서조차 이승만 사진이 빠진 것으로도 증명된다. 따라서 앞으로 『한국사』 교과서를 개정할 때에는 이승만의 독립운동에 대한 서술에서도 균형점을 찾아가야 할 것이다. 현행 『한국사』 교과서들은 사실 서술과 해석에서 오류를 범하고 있다. 구체적으로 『한국사』 교과서의 독립운동사 서술에는 자잘한 사실에 대한 오류는 물론, 부정확ㆍ불충분한 해석이 이따금 보인다. 이는 집필자들이 특정 시대의 특정 문제만을 집중적으로 연구한 전문학자들로서 일제시기사 전공자가 아니라는 문제점, 그리고 검인정을 받기 위해 출판사가 제출한 교과서를 검토하는 연구위원과 검정위원들이 방대한 분량의 내용을 제대로 검토하기에 역부족이었다는 문제점 때문에 벌어진 일이다. 앞으로 『한국사』 교과서의 개정판을 낼 때에는 사실을 정확히 기술하고 해석하는 한편, 서술 내용을 엄밀히 검토하여 사실이나 해석의 오류가 발생하지 않도록 해야 할 것이다. 현재 ... There are different opinions on Korean History textbook for high school student in six types. The Korean history textbooks show that their historical perception is nationalistic and popular, it belittles on the system of liberal democracy and the market economy and it has a perception against USA and for Soviet Union in international issues. Therefore, it needs to value liberal democracy of ROK in writing Korean History. In describing the history of Korean Independence movement of Korean History textbook for high school student, it is easy to find a number of errors in quoting and interpreting truthful facts. I think that it is because the history writers research only on the particular subject. Further, it might be because the scholars who examine the contents of textbook are not professional in the part of Japanese occupation history. Thus, they need to be more cautious in writing Korean History textbook in the future. In a sense of contents and system of Korean History textbooks, it is problematic these are so similar. After the Ministry of Education usually gives important points, only the textbooks which fit on the standard could be allowed to use. However, I think it depends on the writers in writing contents of detail. Therefore, the writers can change contents of history textbook according to their opinion. Korean History textbooks focus more on radical ideas rather than moderate ideas. While Korean History textbooks belittle upon training capability movement or a diplomatic independence movement, the textbooks considerate more on an armament independence war. Particularly, if it is composedly examined about the Korean situation and the international situation, it is possible that both the former and the latter are equal for historical value. Korean History textbooks disregard and devaluate Syngman Rhee’s activities who is the most representative moderate among the independence movement activists. The textbooks don’t deal with the Syngman Rhee’s activities which attached importance to Christianity nationalism and anticommunism and developed a diplomatic independence movement in the United State of America. Thus, it needs to reduce the part of an armament independence war and extend the part of moderate’s activities like Syngman Rhee and Ahn Chang-ho in writing Korean History textbook in the future. In addition, it is to correct the point that there is no picture of Syngman Rhee among a number of historical figures in Korean History textbook.

This study was designed to identify the effects of relationship between the high-involvement work system and self management leadership and organizational commitment and job satisfaction in the hotel kitchen employees. Many researches of work system are studied in manufacturing industry but not in service industry especially restaurant business. Therefore, in this paper we applied work system into the restaurant system and kitchen employee. For this research 258 kitchen employees who have worked in hotels in Seoul, Busan, Jeju, Ulsan and Gyeongju are questioned. SPSS 12.0 and LISREL 8.30 are used for statistical analysis. The result of this study are as follows. The high-involvement work system is effective on the job satisfaction and the self management leadership is effective on both organizational commitment and job satisfaction. However high-involvement work system is negative effective on the organizational commitment. This results are due to the different job specification between kitchen employees and employees in manufacturing industry. Detailed results are discussed in the context of this paper.
