PE 이중벽관의 맞대기 융착 용접 강도 향상에 관한 연구

Waste water is disposed to sewage disposal plant by underground PE double wall pipes. Various processes have been introduced to join PE pipes, but most of these methods have many disadvantages such as costs, lack of reliability and difficulties in joining, etc. Recently butt welding has been paid much attention to joint PE pipes as this process has many advantages such as cost, safety and reliability. In this study, newly developed heat plate, a patent-pending heat plate with a groove, was used to butt-weld PE double wall pipes with different misalignment gaps to simulate real underground conditions, and the butt welding temperature of PE pipe was determined by thermal analysis (Thermal Gravimetric Analysis, Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis). The resulting joining characteristics of double wall pipes were compared with those from a conventional heat plate, in terms of stiffness, flattening and leakage tests. The results from the stiffness and flattening test showed that there were no big differences between the butt-welded joints made from these two plates. From the leakage test, although PE pipes welded with a conventional heat plate did leak below the required test conditions (10 min. at 0.75kgf/cm2), the pipes welded with a patent-pending grooved heat plate did not show any leakage even at a pressure 1.5 times higher than the required conditions. It was noted that by utilizing a grooved heat plate more complete fusion at the pipe joints could be obtained, which in turn induced a high quality joints.
$3\times3$ 교차실험을 범주형 자료 분석을 위한 주변확률모형

세 처리, 세 기간을 갖는 3$\times$3 교차실험에서 c($\geq$3)개의 범주를 가진 자료의 분석에 사용될 수 있는 주변확률모형을 제안한다. 이 모형은 Kenward and Jones(1991)의 결합확률 모형의 대조물 (counterpart)로 사용될 수 있고 2항 변수를 갖는 3$\times$3 교차실험에서 처리 효과를 분석하기 위한 Balagtas et al(1995)의 일변량주변로지트모형의 일반화이다. 세 종류의 링크변화를 사용하여 주변확률모형방정식의 구성된다. 링크변환행렬과 모형행렬을 구성하는 방법이 주어지고, 모수의 추정이 논의된다. 제안된 모형을 Kenward and Jones 자료의 분석에 응용한다. The marginal model is proposed for the analysis of data which have c(2: 3) categories in the 3 x 3 cross-over trials with three periods and three treatments. This model could be used for the counterpart of the Kenward-Jones' joint probability one and should be the generalization of Balagtas et ai's univariate marginal logits one, which analyze the treatment effects in the 3 x 3 cross-over trials with binary response variables[Kenward and Jones(1991), Balagtas et al(1995)]. The model equations for the marginal probability are constructed by the three types of link functions. The methods would be given for making of the link function matrices and model ones, and the estimation of parameters shall be discussed. The proposed model is applied to the analysis of Kenward and Jones' data.

Ahn등 (2003)의 P-행렬을 사용한 두 $c^d$-분할표의 변환자료들의 유클리드 거리제곱은 두 분할표의 셀 (cell) 상대도수벡터들 사이의 유클리드 거리 제곱에 비례함을 보이고, PP-자료의 플롯을 현대시분석과 설문자료의 탐색에 사용하는 방법을 제안한다. The squared Euclid distance of the values which is transformed by P-matrix of Ahn et al. (2003) is in proportion to the squared Euclid distance of cell's relative frequencies in two Contingency Tables. We propose the method of using the PP-values for the analysis of modern poems and questionnaire data.

Sphenoid mucocele is vary rate. In 1872, Rouge Identified a sphenoid mucocele first, and then only about 130 cases have been reported in the literatures since sphenoid mucocele was first described by Berg in 1889. In Korea, sphenoid mucoceles have been reported in the literatures only about 10 cases since it was first described by Yoon et at, in 1988. Paranasal sinus mucoceles are usually found in the frontal sinus and ethmoid sinus, but the sphenoid and maxillary sinus mucoceles are rare. We experienced a case of sphenoid pyocele which caused blindness and was satisfactorily treated by endoscopic surgery. So, we report our endoscopic surgical experience with review of literatures.
A Graphical Method for finding Outliers in Regression

本 論文에서는 回歸에서 Outlier 또는 正常이 아닌 觀察値들을 찾기 위한 方法으로 圖形的인 方法을 提案했다. 이 圖形的인 方法은 觀察値와 說明變數에 의해 豫測된 값을 複素數로 變換하고 그 複素數를 單位圓 또는 單位圓의 上半部위에 나타냈다.
Al 5052 합금의 저입열 Pulse MIG 최적 현장 용접조건 산정에 관한 실험적 연구

The weight reduction of the transportations has become an important technical subject Al and Al alloys, especially Al 5052 alloys have been being applied as door materials for automobile. One of the most widely known car weight-reduction methods is to use light and corrosion-resistant aluminum alloys. However, because of high electrical and thermal conductivity and a low melting point, it is difficult to obtain good weld quality when working with the aluminum alloys. Also, Pulse MIG welding is the typical aluminum welding process, but it is difficult to apply to the thin plate, because of melt-through and humping-bead. In order to enhance weld quality, welding parameters should be considered in optimizing the welding process. In this experiment, Al 5052 sheets were used as specimens, and these materials were welded by adopting new Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) pulse process. The proper welding conditions such as welding current, welding speed, torch angle $50^{\circ}$ and gap 0~1mm are determined by tensile test and bead shape. Through this study, range of welding current are confirmed from 100A to 120A. And, the range of welding speed is confirmed from 1.2m/min to 1.5m/min.

Authors had clinical analysis on 100 patients (101 ears) of traumatic tympanic membrane perforation who were treated between January, 1986 to December, 1986. We analized them by age, sex, cause, symptom, location, size, and shape of the traumatic tympanic membrane perforation. The majority of patients (62%) visited to our department within 5 days after trauma. The results were as follows: Young age groups(20's, 30's, 10's in the declining order) and female were involved more frequently. Left side was more frequently involved(73%). The most common cause is hand slap, especially in the young age group. The main subjective symptoms were hard of hearing(35%), tinnitus(28%), earfullness(21%), otalgia(10%) in the declining order. The most common location of the tympanic membrane perforation was anteroinferior quadrant(32.7%), and posteroinferior quadrant occupies the next order. The size of the tympanic membrane perforation showed 82 cases(gradeⅠ), 13 cases(grade Ⅱ), 3 cases(grade Ⅲ), 3 cases(grade IIII) in the declining order. The most common shape of the tympanic membrane perforation was round to oval(73 cases), and triangular to slit(20 cases), rectangular or irregular(8 cases) in the declining order.
