        방문간호사의 생애말기 환자 간호사례: 오마하시스템을 활용하여

        Purpose: This case report was attempted to present the process of the end of life nursing care provided by the visiting nurse. Methods: The subject was a person who was decided the long-term care Grade 1 and received a visiting nursing service, and the service was terminated on the death, and then was selected as a case with the consent of his family. The data were collected through long-term care benefit provision records and interviews with the visiting nurse. The nursing process was presented by applying the Omaha System. Results: The subject had digestion-hydration problems and respiration problems in the physiological domain, and the problems of role change, caretaking/parenting, spirituality, and grief in the psychosocial domain were identified. Depending on the problem, the end of life nursing care was provided to the subject and family members through activities on physical symptoms/signs, dietary management, end-life care, and coping skills. Conclusion: We expect that if the visiting nurse provides anticipatory guidance on the death process, the subject will be able to prepare for death comfortably with the family at home instead of vague fear of death.

        산업장 근로자의 건강증진 프로그램 요구도

        This studs was conducted to investigate the kinds of health promotion program which workers want, workers intention for participation, proper method, time, duration and manager A self-administered questionnaire method was used to collect data from 41 employees of 3 worksites in Chungpook and Kyungkee. This survey was carried out from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20, 1998. The results of this study are as follows: 1. In male, among health promotion programs, favorite ones were physical fitness (32.2%), periodic health check-up(24.6%). arid stress management( 18.0%). In female, among health promotion programs, favorite ones were periodic health check-up(26.0%), physical fitness(22.0%). and body weight control(1 9.5%). 2. The more young subjects are, the more they like physical fitness program, and the female like body weight control program regardless of BMI. Manufacturing worker preferred back pain prevention program to clerical worker did. In female, drinker preferred stress management program to non-drinker did. 3. The more old subjects are, the more they like back pain prevention program, and non-smoker preferred body weight control program to smoker did 4. In health promotion program format which the subjects wanted, learning of self examination techniques was 41. 1% worksite screening was 31.0%, audiovisual of parnphlets and audiovisual materials was 20.0%, presentation of worksite educational sessions was 7.9%. and the most wanted manager for the program was medical doctor and then nurse. physical trainer, psychological counselor, The favorite health promotion program duration was less than 30 minutes(49.6%). and the favorite time was before work(49.6%). 5. Among respondents. 48.5% was smokers 81. 8% was drinkers, 399% engaged in th~ regular exercise, 68.2% engaged in regular diet habit. In vaccination. 50.2%. ifpossible, wanted to be vaccinated and 37.6% never wanted to be vaccinated. 6. Ex-smoker. ex-drinker, the subjects in the regular exercise, and in the regular diet habit responded they were in good health, There was a significant difference between exercise and health status, Need and intention for participation of health promotion program were high in ex-smoker, ox-drinker, the subjects in the regular exercise. and in the regular diet habit. According to results for this studs, if the favorite programs, exercise, periodic health check up. stress management program, are operated at a proper time and with managers they want, this programs can really raise the. participation of employees And as employees want to learn self examination techniques if worksite educational sessions are performed, health promotion program can effectively be operated.

        본 연구는 회전하는 판을 갖은 원통형 용기내의 유체의 유동에서 자유표면의 모습을 획득하고 자 유표면의 변화 형태를 알아본다. 확인하고자 하는 바는 자유표면의 모습에 관한 것이므로, 자유표면에서의 압력이 대기압이므로 일정하다는 가정에서 출발하였다. 이는 현재 많은 부분에서 응용되고 있는 자유표면에 관한 기본적인 지식을 확인하고자 함이다. An experiment has been performed for the shape of free surface in a circular cylinder with a rotating disk with respect to the longitualinal axis of it. The concept of obtaing the contours of free surface is based on the constant pressure on the free surface.

        An Examination of the Effectiveness of Crisis Response Strategies for Repairing Competence and Integrity Violations

        Product-harm crises, which are connected to defective or dangerous products, are perceived as the most common threats to a company. Product harm crises can distort long standing favorable equality perceptions, tarnish a company's reputation, cause major revenue and market-share losses, lead to costly product recalls, and devastate a carefully nurtured brand equity. However, in spite of the devastating impact of product-harm crises, little systematic research exists to asses its marketing consequences. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate how Koreans react to the crisis response in the aftermath of different crises(competence violation vs. integrity violation) and inspire additional research in crisis communication. This study has three main findings which run counter to the assumptions of Kim et al.(2007). Namely, the current study expands on the research of Kim et al. (2004, 2007) by examining how companies repair customers’ trust and corporate attitude after crises. Different from previous studies, this study assumes that apology for an integrity-based crisis is the most appropriate way to repair consumer trust and corporate attitude. As for competence- based crisis, similarly, apology for competence-based crisis can be more successful repairing consumer trust and corporate attitude. Concerning silence strategy, remaining silent dose not admit or deny guilt right away, but instead of asking the perceiver to withhold judgment, suggesting that, silence could be expected to be superior to apology but inferior to denial. Finally, apology for competence violation will be expected to bemore effective than apology for integrity violation. Research conceptual model was as follows:According to the results, apology is found to be the most effective strategy to repair corporate attitude no matter the crisis is perceived as a violation of competence or integrity. Second, company may consider keeping silent as a desirable response because they does not admit nor deny responsibility but ask the public to withhold judgment. However, the result of this study shows that, in the overall crisis situations, silence strategy did not differ significantly from the denial strategy, which suggested that the public wants explanation instead of uncertainty. Third, there was the interaction effect between crisis type and crisis response strategies. In this study, apology is more effective for the competence violated situation in terms of regaining consumer trust and repairing their attitude toward company, while the apology’s effectiveness is lower for the integrity-violated situation. More specifically, when the crisis is perceived due to company’s lack of ability(competence violation), consumer’s trust belief and attitude toward the company is more easily to repair when the company issued a sincere apology. Damaged product is perceived less intentional so participants are more likely to give the company second chance when they apology to the public. By contrast, exaggerated advertisement(integrity violation) is perceived intentionally and thus makes participants angrier toward the accused company. Although apology is perceived as the most effective strategy, when issuing apology, it also means the company admitted their intention. Therefore, in this kind of crisis situation, trust repair needs not only a sincere apology but additional efforts.

        보건진료전담공무원의 간호연구 활용의 장애요인 및 근거기반실무 활동과 역량

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify community health practitioners (CHP) perception of barriers to research utilization, current status and competence in evidence-based practice (EBP). Methods: From all over the country, 126 CHP completed an e-mail survey. Results: The items with the highest barrier scores were that it is difficult to understand articles written in English and physicians will not cooperate with implementation. There were statistically significant differences in the scores for attitude toward EBP and knowledge in EBP by education level and nursing academic society membership status. When faced with a problem, the nurses usually use related regulations or asked a colleague for advice. Conclusion: Results indicate an awareness of the necessity of applying EBP, need to improve readiness to use EBP voluntarily and actively, and need to search for various factors that are barriers to research utilization. There is a need to develop and apply EBP training/education programs to find new evidence that might actually support previous practice for which nurses lack confidence. Guidelines that consider CHP task characteristics and barrier factors to research utilization should be developed.
