Objective : We performed a clinical study to investigate pattern characteristics in persistent allergic rhinitis depending on Korean Medicine pattern questionnaire items as a pattern identification diagnostic tool. Method : 32 patients with persistent allergic rhinitis were asked to interview with doctor of Korean Medicine and perform the 4 pattern questionnaires(Cold-Heat Pattern, Phlegm Pattern, Yin Deficiency pattern, bloodstasis pattern). Then, we analyzed the response rate of each pattern questionnaires. Results : After diagnosis of Korean Medicine Doctor's pattern identification, 17 individual items have higher response rate, 7 of 17 items have a common tendency in allergic rhinitis. The other 8 of 10 items belong to Lung qi deficiency cold and Lung-spleen qi deficiency group, these have higher tendency of deficiency. In bloodstasis pattern questionnaires, we don't decide the tendency of patients with allergic rhinitis. Conclusion : The result may provide that we don't use Korean Medicine pattern questionnaires as a major tool in the pattern identification of allergic rhinitis. Continuous studies are needed to develop the standardized pattern identification diagnostic tool.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to know the effect of Korean medical treatments on sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL) without systemic or intratympanic steroid treatments.Method : We conducted retrospective review who was diagnosed as SSNHL and treated with Korean medicine in Dept. of Otolaryngology Kyung Hee University Hospital at Gangdong. There were two patients with SSNHL who refused to be treated with western medicine and were treated with Korean medicine including acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine.Result : One patient recovered completely after eight days of admission, and another patient partial recovered during 30 days through Korean medical treatments.Conclusion : Through these studies, SSNHL is expected to treated more effectively by conventional Korean medical treatments than corticosteroid treatments alone. But the additional study is needed to reveal the exact effects of Korean medical treatments.

최근 사용자의 요구가 다양해지는 반면, 기존 운영체제는 정적인 구조를 갖기 때문에 이러한 요구를 효율적으로 반영하기 어렵다. 따라서 운영체제를 동적으로 재구성하여 사용자의 요구를 만족시키는 매커니즘에 관한 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 기존의 커널을 재구성하는 기법들은 하드웨어 의존적인 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구들의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 트랩 기반의 커널 재구성 기법을 제안하고 리눅스 커널에 구현하였다.

최근 다양한 내장형 시스템에서 이식성, 신뢰성, 재사용성에서 장점을 가지는 자바가 많이 사용되고 있다. 또한, 내장형 시스템 환경에서 서비스들에 대한 사용자의 요구와 하드웨어 플랫폼이 다양해지고 있다. 내장형 시스템의 플랫폼과 사용자 요구가 다양해짐에 따라 이를 효율적으로 반영하기 위하여 자바 가상 머신의 동적 재구성이 필요하다. 그러나 기존의 자바 가상 머신 재구성에 관한 연구는 컴포넌트 기반 재구성 방법이 대부분이고 이 방법은 컴포넌트의 일부분이 교체될 때 오버헤드가 발생한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 연구의 단점을 해결할 수 있는 동적 재구성이 가능한 자바 가상 머신 모델을 제안한다.

Objective : Thread embedding acupuncture has become popular as a minimally invasive treatment for facial wrinkles and laxity. However, there is little published clinical practice guidelines about disinfection, sterilization and aseptic technique for thread embedding acupuncture. This study is to introducing a specific guidelines about disinfection, sterilization and aseptic technique for thread embedding acupuncture.Method : We reviewed internal regulations and guidelines about hospital infection, and Traditional Korean medicine doctors, nurses, and director of central supply room discussed in depth and established a regulation of disinfection, sterilization and aseptic technique for thread embedding acupuncture.Result : The regulation of disinfection, sterilization and aseptic technique for thread embedding acupuncture consisted of ① management of supplies, ② guidelines of disinfection, sterilization, and reuse, ③ aseptic technique for thread embedding acupuncture.Conclusion : Microbial management is an essential element of medical care and quality. Traditional Korean medicine doctors will care for disinfection, sterilization, and this should not neglect to comply with the procedures and guidelines in the medical field as well as to understand the aseptic techniques.

With the data of steel and slag compositions obtained by the oxygen sensor, emission spectrometer and fluorescent X-ray, the behavior of oxygen, phosphorus and manganese at LD end-point were studied. For a quantitative determination a multiple regression analysis was made. The results of a statistical investigation comprising about 100 heats indicated the effects of the molten steel compositions, slag compositions and temperature on the behaviors of oxygen, managnese and phorphorus at LD end-point.

The MgO solubility is measured in the CaO-SiO₂- Fe_tO-MnO($gt;8wt%)-MgO-P₂O_5 slag system which is in equilibrium with molten iron in the temperature range of 1550˚C. The Effect of MnO on the MgO solubility and the method for calculating the MgO solubility using slag composition and temperature and discussed, respectively. The amount of MnO content itself has an effect to raise the same amount of Fe_tO content in basic slag. On the other hand, in acidic slag MnO has an effect to raise basicity. Moreover, above results are applied to real low slag operation of 250ton LD converter to study the relationship between MgO solubility and the erosion of MgO-C refractory. The MgO solubility is in the range of 5 to 5.5 wt% at blow end of low slag operation.

The maximum solubility of MgO was measured in the CaO-SiO₂-Fe_tO-MgO-∑xOy (MxOy = MnO, P₂O_5, Al₂O₃, TiO₂, CaF₂) slag in equilibrium with molten iron in the temperature range of 1550℃ to 1700℃. The effect of ∑MxOy on the MgO solubility and the method for calculating the maximum solubility of MgO using slag composition and temperature were discussed, respectively. Moreover , by applying above results to real operation as a means to prevent an erosion of refractory the optimum MgO content in LD slag was determined and summarized as follows; 1) The maximum solubility of MgO is increased with temperature, and decreased with basicity. The content of Fe_tO affects little on the maximum solubility of MgO. 2)The effect of ∑MxOy on the maximum solubility of MgO preserves a dilution effect due to increase in slag volume, and the amount of CaF₂ itself has an effect to lower the same amount of CaO.

The behavior of Al₂O₃ based inclusion was studied during the production of ultra low carbon steel under RH degasser of 250 ton. The optimum condition to improve the cleanliness of ultra low carbon steel, the effect of decarburization type and ladle slag composition on the total oxygen content in ladle treatment are as follows. The optimum slag composition after RH treatment to achieve the total oxygen content less than 0.0012% should be 48% CaO, 45% Al₂O₃ and 7 % SiO₂ in slag composition. More than 1.9 watt/ton in stirring power and 6 in slag basicity were required. The main types of inclusion in slab were SiO₂ and Al₂O₃ mixed with TiO₂. It was revealed that titanium in molten steel reacted with inclusions containing FeO or MnO and the content of TiO₂ in inclusions gradually increased during the process transfer.

Kinetics of the decarburization reaction in the ultra low carbon ranges under reduced pressure was studied in steel, using both a vacuum induction melting furnace and the RH of 300ton. The optimum conditions for getting carbon content of 20ppm within the RH treatment of 15minutes are as follows: 1) The pressure of vessel should be less than one torr in five minutes after the start of decarburization. 2) Ladle slag entrained into vacuum vessel shows a deFrimental effect on decarburization during the RH treatment. The slag decreases the decarburization rate and increases the carbon content by 10ppm after the treatment. 3) Carbon and oxygen contents of 200-350ppm and 500-850ppm, respectively before the RH treatment are required. 4) The Ar gas flow rate should be more than 2400 Nℓ/min during RH treatment.
