일부 지역 주민에서 고혈압이환과 비만지표와의 관련성

        손락성,윤태영,최중명,박순영,유동준,최봉근,Son, Lack-Seong,Yoon, Tai-Young,Choi, Joong-Myung,Park, Soon-Young,Lew, Dong-Joon,Choe, Bong-Keun 대한예방의학회 1999 예방의학회지 Vol.32 No.4

Objective: To examine the relationship between hypertension prevalence and the four commonest anthropometric measurements for obesity(body mass index(BMI), wasit-hip ratio(WHR), waist circumference(WC) and body fat in Korean adults. Methods: We studied the cross-sectional association of the anthropometric indices and blood pressure in 1,197 individuals(who were participants in the population-based cohort study). Hypertension was defined as blood pressure $\geq160/95\;mmHg$ or current use of antihypertensive medication. Informations on life-style factors were obtained from personal interview. Results: There were close associations between BMI, WHR and WC with blood pressure in both men and women. After age adjustment, BMI and WC showed significantly positive correlation with systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels in both men and women. Odds ratio(ORs) of being hypertensive were estimated comparing the highest to the lowest quantile, adjusting for age, smoking status, alcohol intake levels, education attainment. The simultaneously adjusted ORs of being hypertensive, comparing the highest vs the lowest categories, was for BMI 2.0(95% confidence interval(CI)=0.9-3.2) in men and 3.2 (95% CI=1.7-6.1) in women, for WC 2.1(95% CI=1.0-4.4) in men and 3.1 (95% CI=1.6-5.9) in women, for fat(%) 4.2(95% CI=1.9-9.5) in men and 2.1(95% CI=1.2-3.6) in women. Conclusion: In addition to measures of overall obesity(BMI) as well as central obesity(WHR, WC), body fat(%) was independently associated with prevalence of hypertension. Among obesity indices, body fat was the most predictor variable in hypertensive state in male and BMI was in female.

고령자 건강증진을 위한 저항성 운동처방 시스템 구축에 관한 연구

        왕종수,손락성 (사)디지털산업정보학회 2010 디지털산업정보학회논문지 Vol.6 No.1

Physical manifestations of aging due to the lack of exercise include the slowing down of motor learning, cardiopulmonary degradation, and the increasing difficulty to adapt to the environment. Aging is manifested with the lack of aerobic exercise work, decrease in muscular endurance, decline in skeletal and muscular strength, flexibility and agility, and the decrease in reaction speed and balance. Added to those are aging-related physiological changes, including the reduction of muscle bulk, increased body fat, decrease in total body water and basic metabolic rate as activities are reduced, and a decrease in cell and Lean Body Mass (LBM). These changes are known to cause problems. Interest and participation in appropriate physical activities among the elderly is needed to help them increase stamina, avoid diseases, maintain a clear intellect, and basically enable the elderly to live their daily lives as easy as possible. Therefore, physical activities are necessary for the elderly to enhance health-related factors. Special exercises should be performed for the enhancement of muscle function, muscle endurance, flexibility, agility, and balance. An accurate measurement of cardio-respiratory endurance and stamina through basic physical and cognitive characteristics of older adults is also required to ensure safety. Also, the development of a more scientific resistance exercise prescription system for the elderly is desperately needed.

This study was to find out fitness characteristics of alpine skiers based on comparative analysis of knee joint muscular functions, aerobic power and anaerobic power. Original fitness according to performance level of the national representative top ranked alpine skiers and study to make use of the finding for the purpose of upgrading alpine skiers fitness training and evaluation. The surveyed of the test include top 10 rankers of the national representative team and its canididate group of 12~15 rankings. The groups were divided into two groups: junior national team and the collegian team.Isokinetic knee joint muscular functions employed Cybex 770(Lumex Inc. USA) to measure peak torque, endurance ratio, muscular development balance ratio and average power. For measurement of aerobic power, and automatic breath gas analyzer QMC(Quinton Co. USA), Q4500 was employed to measure VO₂ max, VEmax, HRmax, R.Rmax, At, and R. For measurement of anaerobic power, Wingate anaerobic power analyzer employed. Helmas(K.O.R) was employed to inspect a basic fitness condition. According to results, the following conclusions were obtained.1. peak torque of knee joint muscular function and average power were high in the groups that attained high level of performance(p<.05).2. Average power of knee joint was large in the group who attained a higher level of performance but a significant gap could not be found.3. Flexor endurance ratio of knee joint was large in the group that attained a high level of performance. Left flexor indicated a significant gap(p<j.05). but total work among the test of flexor endurance ratio was large in many groups who attained a high level of performance and indicated a significant gap between elongate muscle(right) and flexor(left)(p<.05).4. Ispilateral balance and bilateral of knee joint did not show any difference between levels of performances but the group of high performance level had probablity of injuries(p<.05).5. In case of inspection of aerobic power, VO₂ max, R was high in the group of high performance level but a significant difference could not be found.6. In case of inspection of aerobic power, R.Rmax, VEmax, HRmax AT were all high in the group of low performance level but there was a significant difference in R.Rmax only(p<.05).7. In case of inspection of anaerobic power, the group of high performance level was high and there was significant difference in peak power, mean power and total work only(p<.05).8. In case of inspection of basic fitness condition, there appeared high in the group of high performance level. A significant change could be noted only in the arms-bending and stretching, sergeant, side step, forward bending and raissing body upward(p<.05).

        김재호(Kim Jae-Ho),최승철(Choi Seung-Chul),김창균(Kim Chang-Gyun),손락성(Son Rack-Sung) 한국체육과학회 2002 한국체육과학회지 Vol.11 No.1

The aim of the study was to compare the pattern of visceral fat accumulation according to exercise habit and body %fat. The subjects were 40 pre-menopausal women(40yrs) and divided into four groups according to their percent body fat and exercise behavior: exercise-control (NC:n=10), exercise-obese(EO:n-10), non-exercise-control(NEC:n=10), and non-exercise-obese (NEO:n=10) groups. And their visceral fat area(VFA). abdominal subcutaneous fat thickness (ASFT), VFA/ASFT. The results is as follows ; VFA in both NEO and NEC was significantly larger than in EC and EO (P<0.05). ASFT in NEC was significantly larger than in EO (P<0.05). VFA/ASFT was significantly higher in NEO compared to EC (P<0.05). The results show that a regular exercise may influence positively on cardiovascular risk factors such as VFA, ASFT even in a obese population. This suggests that exercise habit is more important determining health status than the degree of body %fat.
