        Anti-cancer Activity of the Ethylacetate Fraction from Orostachys japonicus for Modulation of the Signaling Pathway in HepG2 Human Hepatoma Cells

        The molecular mechanisms of the ethylacetate(EtOAc) fraction from Orostachys japonicus (OJE) (includinggallic acid, kaempferol, and quercetin) for anti-canceractivities in HepG2 cells were investigated. Apoptosis wasdetected using morphological observation of nuclear changesand investigation of phosphatidylserine exposure at thecytoplasmic membrane using FITC-Annexin V/PI staining. Activities of the apoptotic factors bcl-2, bax, cytochrome c,pro-caspase-3, 8, and 9, as well as MAPKs levels, weremeasured using western blotting. Some morphologic featuresof apoptosis were identified using confocal microscopy. OJE caused the expression of apoptotic proteins to change,as evidenced by an increased bax/bcl-2 ratio and increasedexpression of cytochrome c, and decreased expressions ofpro-caspase-3, 8, and 9. After HepG2 cells were exposed toOJE, expressions of p-JNK and p-ERK1/2 increased in adose dependent manner. OJE exhibits anti-cancer activityvia apoptosis induction through a mitochondria dependentsignaling pathway in HepG2 cells.

        설사환자에서 Campylobacter jejuni의 분리 및 항생제 감수성 특성

        2005년 1월부터 2006년 10월까지 설사환자의 분변 882건에서 27주의 C. jejuni가 분리되어 3.1%의 분리율을 보였으며, 계절별로는 7월에 가장 높은 9주(11.7%)가 분리되었으며, 분리균주 모두는 catalase 양성, hippuric acid를 가수분해하였다. heat-stable antigen을 이용한 PHA법으로 확인한 혈청형은 HS2형이 18.5%로 가장 많이 분리되었으며 Hs1/44형과 HS2l형 이 각각 11.1%, HS4 complex와 HSl9형 이 각각 7.4%,그리고 HSl8형이 3.7%였으며, 40.7%인 11주는 본 실험방법으로 혈청형을 확인할 수 없었다. 항생제에 대한 내성정도는 cephalothin에는 100%의 내성률을 erythromycin과 imipenem에는 0%의 내성률을 나타내어 분리균주 모두 감수성이었다. 항생제별로는 trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole 63.0%, tetracycline 51.9%, ciprofloxacin 37.0%, ampicillin과 nalidixic acid 33.3%, gentamycin 25.9%, clindamycin 7.4%, chlorarmphenicol 3.7%의 순으로 내성률을 보였다. ln this study we isolated 27 isolates of Campylobacter jejuni from stool samples of 882 diarrheal patients. The seasonal distribution of patients was highest at July (11.7%). All the isolates of C. jejuni hydrolyzing sodium hippurate were serotyped on basis of heat-stable antigens, and identified with the use of passive hemagglutination assay. A total of 59.3% among 27 C. jejuni isolates were identified into 6 different serotypes, which serotype HS2, HSl/44, and HS2l were dominant. Antibiotics resistant rates of C. jejuni isolates were shown to be 100%, 63.0%, 51.9%, 37.0%, 33.3%, 25.9% and 7.4% to cephalothin, trimethoprim- sulfamethoxazole, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, ampicillin, gentamycin and clindamycin, respectively. All isolates were sensitive to the erythromycin and imipenem.

        In the conventional physical buttons with the development of smart devices it has been developed a lot of development on the touch pad and buttons. However, a conventional system is limited to the touch plastic material and has a design of a planar shape. Due to limitations of capacitive touch film it did not develop a variety of materials and form of the touch buttons. In this paper, we study the possible patterns in a touch material, such as metal, wood, and leather, and developed a technique that can increase the degree of freedom in design. In addition, it designs a one-piece structure in which, while maintaining the form of a physical button implemented and at the same time the touch button to a downside of the touch pad buttons and to address a problem that a physical feedback. The developed form of the combined button is possible to press and touch. Button was designed to provide a UX manual apply to prevent distraction while driving and the new technologies.
