        영화 <밀리언달러베이비>에 나타난 새로운 가족관계의 형성

        본고에서는 영화 <밀리언달러베이비>를 대상으로 새로운 가족관계의 형성에 관해 살펴보았다. 이 영화에서는 기존 혈연적 가족관계가 해체되는 과정과 새로운 가족관계가 형성되는 과정이 잘 그려지고 있다. 영화 속 두 주인공인 프랭키와 매기는 자신들의 가족에게서 받은 상처를, 서로에게 가족이 되어가는 과정을 통해 치유하고 있다. 먼저 2장에서는 기존 가족관계에서 드러나는 매기와 프랭키의 가족관계에서의 문제점을 살펴보았다. 매기는 자신의 가족관계를 통해 `부정적 가족서사`를 경험하게 되며, 그녀의 가족관계는 `실패한 가족서사`를 전형을 보여준다. 그리고 영화 속에서 그녀의 가족관계는 해체되고 있다. 프랭키의 경우, 그에게는 아내인 앤과 딸인 케이티가 있지만 이미 그들과의 관계는 단절된 것으로 나타난다. 또 가족 대신 프랭키가 8년 동안 애정과 정성을 쏟은 빅 윌리라는 복서가 있지만, 그마저도 자신의 욕망을 위해 프랭키를 떠나감으로써 프랭키는 더 이상 타인과 친밀한 관계를 맺는 것을 두려워하고 있다. 다음으로 3장에서는 매기와 프랭키의 가족관계에서의 심리적 문제가 새로운 가족관계를 형성하면서 어떻게 해결되고 있는지 살펴보았다. 매기는 자신의 가족들에게는 받지 못했던 가족으로서의 혜택을 프랭키를 통해 누리고 있으며, 프랭키와의 관계를 통해 `긍정적 가족서사`를 경험하고 있다. 프랭키 역시 매기에게 `내 사랑, 내 핏줄`이라는 의미의 `모쿠슈라(molkusha)`라는 이름을 지어주며 매기를 자신의 가족으로 인정하고 있다. 이 둘은 혈연으로 묶이지는 않았지만, 친밀감을 바탕으로 한 `성공한 가족서사`의 전형을 보여주고 있다. 영화 <밀리언달러베이비>는 프랭키와 매기가 서로에게 가족이 되어가는 과정을 통해, 혈연관계는 없지만 친밀감에 의해 이루어지는 대안가족은 기존 혈연중심 가족공동체의 해체로 인한 사회적 문제들을 해결해줄 수 있는 새로운 대안이 될 수 있음을 보여준다. 또한 기존 가족관계에서의 매기의 `부정적 가족서사`가 프랭키와의 관계를 통해 `긍정적 가족서사`로 경험되는 과정과 기존관계에서의 매기의 `실패한 가족서사`가 프랭키와의 관계에서 `성공한 가족서사`로 바뀌는 과정은 `가족치료`라는 측면에서도 활용이 가능 할 것이다. In this paper, the author analyzed the formation of new family relationship in the cinema of “Million Dollar baby” This cinema described well about how the family relationship by blood has been dismantled and the process of the new family relationship was developed. The main characters of Frankie and Maggie shared a common spirit that transcended the pain and loss of their pasts with their own family and found in each other a sense of family. First, Chapter 2 in relation to the existing family revealed Maggie and Frankie`s problems in family relationships. Next, in the Chapter 3, I examed how Maggie and Frankie`s psychological problems in family relationships have been solved by forming new family relationships. This cinema shows that even though Frankie and Maggie are not related by blood, when they care, take care of, and love each other, then they can become a real family. The director as well as actor, Clint Eastwood, indicated that the cinema of “Million Dollar Baby” is the love story of father and daughter. Maggie became a daughter of Frankie who missed his wife and daughter and Frankie became a father of Maggie who lost her father when she was young. Frankie and Maggie helped each other to heal from their psychological and emotional injury they had before. Frankie and Maggie created a new family relationship through love even though they were not related by blood. This cinema clearly showed that a new family based on communication (love and caring) can be an alternative plan for the social problems of dismantlement of family relationship by the blood.

        재난보도 방송에 사용된 자극적 표현 연구

        이 연구에서는 재난보도 방송에 사용된 자극적 표현의 개념을 명확하게 규정하는 한편, 2014년 4월 16일 세월호 사고를 다룬 지상파 채널 3곳과 종합편성 채널 3곳의 정규 뉴스 프로그램 6회 분(88,133음절)을 대상으로 `자극적 표현`의 유형을 8가지로 세분하여 그 사용 실태를 점검하였다. 그 결과, 피해 상황을 과장하는 정도 표현으로는 `대형-`과 `최악`의 사용 빈도가 높고, 구조 상황을 과장하는 과일반화 표현으로는 `총동원`과 `급파`, `필사` 등의 사용 빈도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 피해 상황을 과장하는 극단적 표현으로 `아비규환`과 `아수라장`이 널리 사용되고 있는 것을 확인하였다. 그런데 이들 표현은 정확성이 떨어질 뿐만 아니라 언론의 감시 기능을 소홀히 했다는 비난을 받을 수 있다는 점에서 문제가 있다. 뉴스 진행자의 직접적인 감정 표현으로는 `안타깝다`를, 수사적인 감정 표현으로는 `악몽`을 자주 사용하는 것으로 나타났고, 피해자 가족의 감정 표현으로는 `오열하다`와 `항의하다`를 많이 사용했는데, 이들 표현은 `과어휘화`의 문제가 우려된다는 점에서 신중한 사용이 요구된다. 피해 상황의 구체적인 묘사 표현으로는 뉴스 진행자가 사고 직후 피해 현장을 생중계로 직접 묘사한 표현과 목격자의 진술에 근거한 표현보다 방송 진행자의 추측이나 가정에 근거한 표현이 많이 사용되었다. 피해자의 슬픈 사연 소개 표현으로는 50년 지기 초등학교 동창생의 마지막 환갑 여행에 관한 이야기에서부터 여섯 살 어린이의 신상을 파헤친 이야기, 희생자들이 가족과 주고받은 문자 메시지를 공개하는 등 자극적인 사연을 소개하는 것을 확인하였다. This study examines the inciting expressions in disaster broadcasting with the aim of preparing guidelines for appropriate language use in disaster news reporting. The analysis is carried out on news reports on the Sewol ferry disaster April 10, 2014 by three terrestrial broadcasters(KBS News 9, MBC Newsdesk, SBS 8 News) and three general cable TV channels(ChannelA News, MBN News 8, JTBC News 9). The collected news reports analyzed in terms of the following eight criteria: 1. superlative exaggeration expression, 2. over generalization exaggeration expression, 3. extreme exaggeration expression, 4. emotions expression of newscasters, 5. emotions expression of victim`s family, 6. representation of the damage situation, 7. representation of the rescue situation, 8. sad story of victim`s. The results are as follows: The frequency of use of `대형(oversize)` and `최악(worst)` is high in the superlative expression that exaggerates the damage situation, and the frequency of use of `총동원하다(mobilize fully)`, `급파 하다(dispatch)`, `필사(prepared for death)` Respectively. In addition, it was confirmed that `아비규환(agonizing cries)` and `아수라장(pandemonium)` were extensively used to exaggerate the damage situation. However, these expressions are problematic in that they are not only inferior in accuracy but also criticized for neglecting the monitoring function of the press. The news facilitator often used `안타깝다(sorry)` as a direct expression of emotions and the `악몽(nightmare)` as a rhetorical expression of emotions. The victim`s family, they used a lot of `오열하다(omit)` and `항의하다(protest)`, but these expressions require careful use because they are concerned with the problem of `over lexicalization`. As a concrete description of the damage situation, the expression of the news facilitator directly after the accident was portrayed directly by the live broadcast and the expression based on the assumption of the witness` The story of the victim`s sad story introduction includes a story about the last sixty years old children`s story from the story of the last sixty-fifty year old Jianguo elementary school alumni, and the story of the victims revealing the text messages exchanged with their families.

      • 고전작품을 활용한 각색스토리텔링의 세 가지 방식

        In this paper, three ways of creating a cultural-content story based on classical literatures are discussed. The results are followed. The first of way of creating a new story is that the main storyline will be the same while adding new storylines. For instance, the writer looks for the part which is not understandable and adds new storylines. Second, the writer keeps the main storylines of classical literature and adds the story of what happens after the end of classical literature. For instance, the writer can borrow the main storylines of classical literature and creates a new story. Or the writer can add the story of what happens after ending of old-literature. The third way is a new twist of classical literature. For instance, a new story starts with the same storyline of classical literature at the beginning of it, and then, a new storyline is added. Or, a new story is created from the perspective of a person overlooked piece of work by twisting the story.

      • <나무꾼과 선녀>와 <견우직녀>의 이야기 결합방식과 문학치료에의 적용가능성 모색

        In this paper, the author examines the relationship between "A story of the Altair and the Vega" and "The Woodcutter and the Heavenly Maiden" in the Chinese Tales collection and two My Recording tales. In the case of The Two Recordings, both "A story of the Altair and the Vega" and "The Woodcutter and the Heavenly Maiden" are used because of similarities between the two. However, in the case of the Chinese Tales, these two stories are used intentionally by the story teller. Next, the author investigates how this story relationship can be used as literary therapy. When the counselor selects the literature for the person who comes for a private talk, the counselor can choose the stories based on their similarities. Also, the counselor could intentionally create a story for a patient.

        <열녀함양박씨전>의 박씨와 『삼강행실도: 열녀편』의 관계를 통해 본 열녀제작의 심리적 요인

        The author analyzed the psychological factors which affected on the way of Mrs. Park in the < Yeleohamyangparksigeon > became a virtuous woman and compared these psychological factors with a virtuous women in Samganghaengsildo based on the relationship between Mrs. Park in < Yeleohamyangparksigeon > and Samganghaengsildo's the virtuous women volume. First of all, it’s about the power of authority on women. The volume of Samganghaengsildo’s virtuous women was about the group of women who were recognized as virtuous women by the king who had absolute power at the time period. The volume of Samganghaengsildo’s virtuous women was very well known for women. This book had a huge impact on women since the government authority educated the women using this book. In addition, the incredible events which were written in Samganghaengsildo indicated that the behavior of virtue was the right thing to follow since even super power recognized it as a good thing to do and the woman might be punished when she didn’t follow the behavior of virtue. Second, it was based on the similarity of circumstance and uncertainty for the future. Mrs. Park in < Yeleohamyangparksigeon > showed similar behavioral patterns with a virtuous woman in Samganghaengsildo since she took her role model from the virtuous woman. When Mrs. Park lost her husband, she was not sure about her future and the volume of Samganghaengsildo pointed out that there was another world after the death and she would meet her husband again after the death. In addition, the incorrect information that she would feel better psychologically when she followed her dead husband instead of living herself. Third, it is about the resemblance of obsessive mind and self internalization. The examination of the record of Mrs. Park showed that Mrs. Park tried to internalize integrity, loyalty, and virtue of virtuous women in Samganghaengsildo and became herself like virtuous women. In addition, the woman’s obsessive mindset remarkly reflected in Samganghaengsildo. For instance, Mrs. Park in < Yeleohamyangparksigeon > held to the time of death of her husband and the writer who wrote about the behavior of Mrs. Park also emphasized that the time of death of Mrs. Park was closed to the time of the death of her husband. This explained that the obsessive mindset of women in the epic of virtue women could have influence on the women’s mind who tried to show the similar behavior with a virtue woman and internalize it. Finally, the people of the day also were not free from it.

        <구렁덩덩신선비>를 이용한 부부상담의 가능성 탐색

        In this paper, I used the story of Gurungdungdung Shinsunbee to explore how marital conflict might be resolved. In this story, the wife is rejected by her husband's family because she breaks a taboo; eventually, she overcomes the problem and rejoins her husband. I wanted to show how the solution presented in this folktale might apply to real-life conflicts between spouses and their families. The conflict in the folktale of Gurungdungdung Shinsunbee occurs when the husband asks his wife to keep "a case-off skin." When her older sister takes it away and burns it, the wife has to leave her husband. Essentially, the behavior of her older sister causes her to break her promise and severs her attachment to her husband's family. In the process of finding her way back to her husband, she learns to accept the role of wife and leave behind her role as youngest daughter in her first family. The husband and wife resolve this conflict by following traditional social norms, clearing up their misunderstanding, being honest, and overcoming obstacles. In the process, the wife, once the youngest daughter in one family, discovers the true meaning of her new role in a new family.

        자기서사에 따른 사물의 의미변용과 여행 체험-『열하일기』를 중심으로-

        This study examined how Ji-Won Park(Yeonam) created the eaning of things based on the epic of self and how his travel experience manifested on the epic of self. First of all, the author examined that how Yeonam interpreted the meaning of things based on his own reflection using the examples of “The Golden Arbor” and “Baeki-Sukje.” As a result, the author found that Yeonam focused on the material value of “the Golden Arbor” rather than the reason of creation of “The Golden Arbor.” Yeonam also used “Baeki-Sukje” as an ironic representation rather than the original meaning of loyalty and integrity. Second, it helped to present personal self epic since travel experience and the atmosphere of the travel journey could reduce the pressure from the epic of society on individuals. For instance, when Ji-Won Park (Yeonman) traveled the China (the country of Chung) where society promoted public welfare, Yeonman was able to express himself freely which showed utilitarian over justice. Finally, the author talked about how a book of travels can be used for the case of literature therapy since 『Yeulhailgi』 was written by Yeonam while he was traveling. The author indicated that it might be useful for the patients to write own travel journey since the therapist could analyze the mind of patients by the epic of self. In addition, using a book of travels also can be valuable for the patients since the therapist could analyze the condition of patients as well as help patients see through themselves while reading a book of travels.

      • <장화홍련> 이야기의 문학치료적 효용

        This study analyzed the content of narration in the six folk-tales of “JangHwa HongRyeon” and “The novel of JangHwaHongRyeon” and then examined about how this story could be used for the literature therapy. First of all, the stories of “JangHwaHongRyeon” and “The novel of JangHwaHongRyeon” made up of five different sequences such as 1) After his first wife died he married again and then, two daughters (JangHwa and HongRyeon) were left to the tender mercies of his stepmother; 2) the step-mother made a false accusation about her step-daughters; 3) the step-daughter were drowned to death; 4) the step-daughters who were drowned to death became a ghost and showed up in front of “Wonnim” and asked to revenge since they had a grudge against their step-mother; 5) the “Wonnim” revealed the crime of the step-mother and disentangled from a grudge over their step-mother. [“Wonnim” is a governmental officer who rules the district] Second, the author examined how the story of “JangHwaHongRyeon” and “The novel of JangHwaHongRyeon” could be used from the perspective of literature therapy. From the father`s point of view, the father who was in the realm of father and mother epic expected that his daughters should obey their parents unconditionally. However, he lost his mind when he found out that his daughters had an abortion and made them drown to death because he could not let his daughters to move from the realm of father and mother epic to the realms of man and woman epic. Like in the story of “JangHwaHongRyeon” and “The novel of JangHwaHongRyeon,” two daughters returned to life and rejoined with their father and their father realized that he made a mistake and let his daughters move to the realm of man and woman epic or the realm of husband and wife epic. From JangHwa and HongRyeon`s standpoint, two daughters, who obeyed their father unconditionally before, were negative and passive women. However, when two daughters were confronted by death, they became active women through self-awakening. The third, the author discussed how the story of “JangHwaHongRyeon” and “The novel of JangHwaHongRyeon” could be used in the literature therapy. This story could be beneficial for the father who is in the same situation. The problem in the story of “JangHwaHongRyeon” is that the father didn`t know the difficulty of their daughters when he got married since he showed apathy towards his family. In addition, he still missed his wife who passed away so he took his daughters side instead of his new wife and made them against each other. For the fathers who are in the same situation, they should realize that theirs children are in the realm of father and mother epic so they have to provide care for their children and also, their children could not stay in that realm. The children have to move to the realm of man and woman epic later on. In addition, in the realm of husband and wife epic, the husband should not compare his new wife over his wife who passed away and treat his wife as one human being and as a mother of his daughters even though she is not a biological mother.

        19,20세기 초 국어의 풀이씨 이름씨 씨끝 -ㅁ,-기 연구

        This study deals with the direction of change of nominalizers `-m` and `-ki` with respect to the preservation, the expansion, and the reduction in the scope of their realizations. The contents discussed here can be summarized as the following. First, in the 19th-century Korean, the scope of nominalization had been expanded in the case that a `-m`-adjoined clause functioned as a subject in a clause and that a `-ki`-adjoined clause functioned as an object. In the 20th-century Korean, the scope of `-m` had been expanded when its realization functioned as an object, and the one of `-ki` was expanded when its realization functioned as a subject. Secondly, `-m` was more frequently used than `-ki` when `-m` and `-ki` each maintained its scope. Thirdly, the mixed uses of `-m` and `-ki` in the same sentence were identical in the two periods. Particularly, the historical evidences of these mixed uses provide the explanation about the direction of change in `-m` and `-ki`.

        <나무꾼과 선녀>의 부부갈등 중 `선녀의 개인적 결점`으로 인한 갈등과 그 문학치료적 가능성 탐색

        This study deals with conflicts between husband and wife, focusing particularly on the "personal flaws" of the heavenly maiden and the means by which these conflicts are eventually resolved. Also, based on actual cases, the possibility of using literary therapy to resolve real-life problems is explored. The findings include the following: First, the conflicts arising from the personal flaws of the heavenly maiden begin when she refuses to accept the changes required of her as a woodcutter`s wife. Although she married him, she misses her former life in heaven and thinks only of returning to her heavenly home as soon as she recovers her flying dress. Therefore, she is unwilling to adjust to her married situation or compromise with her husband, and eventually this interferes with communication between husband and wife. Second, when she returns to heaven after regaining the flying dress, she finds her status changed because of her "sins" of marrying a human being and having his children. These sins incur her father`s hatred, but when the woodcutter follows his family to heaven to live with them, the heavenly wife begins to support her husband positively and place her loyalty to him above peripheral issues. Thus, the conflicts caused by her rejection of changes on earth are resolved by her new willingness to change her perspective and her behavior. Third, this study explores the possibilities of utilizing the story of the woodcutter and the heavenly wife in literary therapy. Real-life cases in which the wife is unwilling to change or compromise often resemble the condition of the heavenly maiden; thus, similarities can be identified and presented concretely. In other words, applying the methods the heavenly maiden used to resolve conflict in the fable can lead to open discussion and possible resolution of conflict in real-life cases.
