Objectives : The sigma-1 receptor is implicated in stress, depression, psychostimulant sensitization, and addiction vulnerability. Prior studies have indicated that ethanol exposure modulates sigma-1 receptor activity within the Ventral Tegmental Area (VTA). Here, we explore the sub-mechanisms underlying sigma-1 receptor activity induced by HT7 (Shinmun) stimulation in behavioral alterations following acute ethanol (ETOH) administration. Methods : Male Wistar rats were investigated for pro- and anti-inflammatory markers after injection of ETOH (1 g/kg) using cytokine enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)s. After confirming that HT7 stimulation changed the total distance traveled in the open field test (OFT), protein changes in the Ventral tegmental area (VTA) were measured by Western blotting. The expression level of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) after administration of a sigma-1 receptor antagonist (dihydrobromide 1047; BD1047, 10 mg/kg i.p.) and Shenmen (HT7) stimulation was compared. Results : As a result, acute ETOH administration increased proinflammatory marker levels (TNF-α and IL-6). HT7 stimulation restored the total distance response after acute ethanol administration. In addition, in the VTA, the levels of a microglial marker (iNOS), sigma-1 receptor and protein kinase C, which are predicted to be involved in up- and downregulation, were restored by HT7 stimulation. In particular, HT7 stimulation modulates iNOS expression through effects similar to BD treatment. This study suggests that the stimulatory effect of HT7 may be driven by microglial activation. Conclusions : Microglial activity is regulated by sigma-1 receptor, and sigma-1 receptor activity is regulated by HT7 stimulation. Significantly, we demonstrate that HT7 stimulation ameliorates behavioral alterations induced by acute ETOH administration through microglial activation within the VTA.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediated effects of home training between wellness and stress in three areas. Recently, the number of people who do home training has increased rapidly due to lack of outdoor activities in the aftermath of COVID-19. Thus, in this study, we understand the effect of three types of wellness on home training and stress and conducted an analysis focusing on the mediated effects of home training between wellness and stress. In order to obtain the above results, this study surveyed a total of 389 students and officials related to physical education at S University from July 5 to July 23, 2021. First, among the three types of wellness, physical and emotional wellness have a positive effect on home training, but social wellness has no significant effect on home training. Second, all three types of wellness have been shown to have a positive effect on stress. Third, home training has been shown to serve as a partial mediator between the other two types (physical wellness, emotional wellness) and stress, excluding social wellness. The implications of this study are to determine the role of the mediated effects of home training in the relationship between wellness and stress. Through this, it was found that higher physical and emotional wellness has a positive effect on trying home training, and more home training has a positive effect on stress. It also found that social wellness has a positive effect on stress, but not on trying to train flaws.

This study shows the relationship between demographic variable and life satisfaction, demonstrates cause and result for demographic variables. This study includes goal orientation as exogenous variables, and life satisfaction as endogeous variables. Data was provided by participants over 20 years old, who join sports dance in community center in Seoul. 348 adults were selected for this study by using stratified cluster random sampling method. Also, a questionnaire for goal-oriented analysis was used as the instrument for the study (Nichollas and Duda 1989: Seung Chang Hun, 1994). And for life satisfaction was also used as instrument for the study. Data were collected from August 2005 to September 2005, and were analyzed with The SPSS/PC 12.0 version for Windows. The result is as follows: The first, no significant difference was detected in the life satisfaction with the participant`s gender. Second, a significant difference of p<.05 in the life satisfaction has been shown with the participants marriage status. The lastly, it was shown that the goal orientation of participants has no direct influence on life satisfaction, total effect including indirect effect reflects life satisfaction. It was verified that the variables described about 46% on the flow experience on life satisfaction.

This study is to show how the variation of population and the devotion of people who enjoy their leisure time affects the level of satisfaction in life and also covers the interrelation between devotion and life satisfaction. People who are over 20 years-old who currently participate in the leisure program at the district assembly hall in Seoul were selected as the subject for the study. The survey was based on the stratified cluster random sampling method. 400 copies of the survey were distributed, only to receive back 380copies for the final data. Among those 380 copies, we extracted the survey with duplicated answer and insincerity blank answers to collect 348 in final. The first, no significant difference was detected in the life satisfaction with the participant`s gender. Second, a significant difference of p < 0.05 in the life satisfaction has been shown with the participants marriage status. Third, a significant difference was found in the life satisfaction with the participant`s age difference. Fourth, a significant difference of p < 0.01 in the life satisfaction has been shown with the participant`s health condition. The Lastly, description variable control sensibility (p < 0.01) and time sensibility variables (p < 0.05) had an effect on the life satisfaction but it was proved that clear objective, ecstasy and self objective empirical had no effect on the life satisfaction.
12주간 복합운동이 편마비 환자의 보행변수 및 일상생활체력에 미치는 효과

This study was to apply 12 weeks combined exercise program composed of core exercises and band exercises to the hemiplegic patients to identify the effects of the program on the gait parameters and the physical fitness of the patients for the activities of daily living. The subjects were divided into two groups; 8 subjects for the combined exercise group and 8subjects for the control group. Through gait parameter analysis system, spatial and temporal gait variables and the grasping power in the physical fitness for activities of daily living, dumbbell lifting, standing and sit to standing, bending the body to the chair, functional arm stretching, and Time up and Goand then sitting down were compared and analyzed. The followings are the results of the analysis. First, the combined exercise group showed the statistically significant difference in the single limb supporting time among the temporal gait variables and in the stride length of e paralyzed side among e spatial gait variables, which confirmed the effects of the 12 weeks" combined exercise program. Second, among the variables showing the physical fitness for activities of daily living, the combined exercise group showed the statistically significant difference in Sit to Standing and Time up and Go to show the effects of the 12 weeks" combined exercise program. Accordingly, it is judged that it is worthwhile to apply the Combined Exercise composed of Core and Band exercises to hemiplegic patients to the maximum extent.
건물 지하벽 시공을 위한 EG-Frame 시스템의 필러 연결부 지압강도

The objective of this paper is to evaluate the structural safety of EG-Frame system resisting the earth pressure from CIP (Cast-in Place Pile). To accomplish the objective, a compression experiment and FE (Finite Element) analysis for the filler joint in EG-Frame were performed and suggested a proper design process. In the experiment, parameters are the width of the composite beam and the size of bearing plate. In FE analysis, total strain crack model was used for the modeling the concrete in the composite beam and CIP. the joint of CIP and composite beam was modeled as a perfect bond condition. From the experiment, it was shown that a separation of concrete composite beam appeared after shear failure when the width increased. The compressive strength depended on the size of bearing plate. However, there was not a trend of stiffness variation even if the size of bearing plate increased. In the case of same bearing plate, the strength decreased corresponding to the increase of width of the composite beam. It is thought that the round shape of CIP contributed the increase of the shear slip between the contact surfaces of the composite beam and CIP when the width increased.

Various purposes and capacity are needed in order to maintain functions of a building during the using period. But a natural disaster brings a drop of capacity of buildings regardless of human’s effort. Recently, importance of countermeasure in regard to the occurred earthquake is emphasized by bigger shape of earthquake and diversification of earthquake type little by little in the future. The object of this paper is the evaluation of structural capacity of building damaged by disaster. In order to describe the damage, three frame building, five, ten and fifteen story buildings are designed to have reduced column strength in first floor. And static push over analysis for those buildings with various ground conditions is carried out by using RAM PERFORM program. From the analysis, it was shown that seismic capacity of frame building closely depended on the ground condition. The loss of structural capacity of buildings was more influenced by strength reduction of reinforcement than by that of concrete.
