Aluminum nitride (AlN) nanopowders with low degree of agglomeration and uniform particle size were synthesized by carbothermal reduction of alumina and subsequent direct nitridization. Boehmite powder was homogeneously admixed with carbon black nanopowders by ball milling. The powder mixture was treated under ammonia atmosphere to synthesize AlN powder at lour temperature. The effect of process variables such as boehmite/carbon black powder ratio, reaction temperature and reaction time on the synthesis of AlN nanopowder was investigated.

A mathematical model that combines turbulent phenomena of particle-laden gas jets and chemical reactions has been developed to predict gas mixing and solid reaction in a two-dimensional cylindrical system. A simplified gas-solid reaction model and isothermality were introduced to simplify model predictions. The gas field was viewed from an Eulerian frame work. The k-ε model was used for the prediction of turbulent behavior. The SIMPLER algorithm was also used for the correction of pressure gradient in the gas-phase momentum equation with the continuity equation. Lagrangian treatment of the particles was performed, presenting the particle field as a series of the trajectories. Particle dispersion in the turbulent gas field is modeled through the particle number density. The application of the developed mathematical model can be found in the atomization process, flash-smelting process, carbothermal reduction process, and the oxidation process of inorganic materials for the production of pigments.

This report will introduce the epitome about the subject, HANARO (Hi-flux Advanced Neutron Application Reactor designed by KAERI in early 1995) Utilization Education Training Program Development and Operation, which is one of the nuclear research basic expansion businesses executed from 1999. 12. to strengthen the usage of HANARO. This program consists of the basic reactor experiments program for university students who have specialty of nuclear and other engineering, and the special research education program for faculties from universities and researchers from industrial fields. Principle lessons are reactor operation, radioisotope production, neutron activation analysis, neutron radiography, radiation shield (health physics), nuclear fuel combustion measurement by gamma scanning arrangement, and CNS (Compact Nuclear Simulator) and so on.
노인들의 세대 간 교류증진을 위한 커뮤니티 센터에 관한 연구

The modern industrialized society has contributed to improve the quality of people's life. However, this is only partial true. The elderly in this aging society are losing their jobs and self-esteem as well, becoming isolated themselves and in turn causing a serious social problem which we, all generations together, need to solve now. The purpose of this study is to examine the seriousness of problems of the aged people in the aging society. With the findings from the examination, this study explores the solution to the problem. Finally, a community center is proposed to improve the intergenerational communication, not only having all the facilities and infrastructures required by the aged people but facilitating communication between generations.
실험연구 : Sufentanil 투여가 흰쥐적출심장에서 허혈시 심근기능 및 관상동맥혈류에 미치는 영향

Background: Some opioids have been shown to attenuate an ischemia-reperfusion injury in an isolated-heart model. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of sufentanil on the cardiac function in isolated-heart models when given before and after prolonged periods of low flow ischemia. Methods: Isolated rat hearts were stabilized for 30 minutes and subdivided into four groups (each n = 7). The control group was subjected to low flow ischemia (LFI 0.3 ml/min) of 5% dextrose water for 30 minutes, followed by perfusion with a modified Krebs solution at a constant pressure for 60 minutes. In the sufentanil groups, different sufentanil (12.5 mg/L, 25 mg/L, 50 mg/L) doses were administered with the modified Krebs solution after 30 minutes of stabilization until the end of the experiment with the exception of the LFI group. The left ventricular end systolic pressure (LVESP), dP/dt max, heart rate and coronary flow were measured. After reperfusion, the infarct size of all groups was measured. Results: The control and the sufentanil groups had a lower LVESP, dP/dt max, coronary effluent flow and arrhythmia duration after ischemia and reperfusion than those before ischemia. The infarct sizes in the sufentanil groups were smaller than those in the control group. However the infarct sizes of the sufentanil groups were similar. Conclusion: Sufentanil reduces the infarct size but does not improve the post-ischemic functional dysfunction. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2006; 51: 216~21)
중·고등학교 농구 경기기록에 의한 승패 결정 요인 분석

The purpose of this study is to suggesting factors that decide victory and defeat by analyzing middle and high school basketball matches with statistical methods. For doing so, analyses were made by objecting results of 779 games having been progressed for 2 years from 2013 to 2014 through nationwide 5 matches of middle & high school male-female basketball tournaments. As a result of analyzing decision tree analysis, adopted factors from male middle school and female high school matches were filed goal and free throw among 6 factors, and was field goal in female middle school matches. The adopted factor in male high school matches was rebound, field goal, and assist. The highest winning probability was 94.2% when exceeding 43 rebounds and 5 assists, and this shows the importance of rebound and assist and winning probability when interaction is matched. The lowest winning probability was 10.9% when lowering 26 rebounds, and it indicates the importance of rebound. In conclusion, there were differences by gender and school type, but field goal, free throw, rebound, assist among 6 factors of middle& high school basketball matches appeared to important factors for victory statistically. Also, differences by school type were shown because growth of middle school players was not perfect compared to high school players. In training middle school players, practices on field goal, free throw, rebound, assist are required, and it is necessary to foster responsibility on ball ownership so as to prevent from intercept. Also it is necessary to teach the importance of assist and defense as the game nears to the final match since ability differences by team are not displayed largely in the final matches of male middle& high school players.
