마음이 기를 다스린다는 인체 생리에서 보면 기와 의식이 연결되고, 의식의 근원은 유식학에서 심층연구의 결론으로서 유식무경 즉, 대상은 없고 오직 식만이 존재한다고 한다. 관찰자 효과에서 소립자는 의식을 가지며 관찰자가 소립자를 만든다고도 한다. 본 연구는 기의 근원을 찾는데 식을 도입하였는 바, 식이란 의식의 반복 운동으로 형성되는 극미의 존재로서 시간과 공간을 초월하여 자체의 생명력과 능동성을 갖고 있으며, 그 예로 복잡계의 창발과 자기 조직화의 원인이 곧 식이며 카오스의 끌개가 바로 식인 것이다. 식은 주관과 객관, 물질계와 비물질계의 경계니 ‘열린 계’ 는 사실 식에 의해 ‘닫힌 계’이다. 정보 장으로 형성된 소립자는 식이며 식의 창발은 기인 고로 기는 의식이다. On a physiological view in which mind governs Ki, Ki is connected with consciousness and Yusik science(Yogacara) concluded regarding the seed of consciousness after deep studies SIK exists without any object. Observer's effect say observer makes particle and particle has its own consciousness. In this study I introduce the function of SIK to search for the origin of Ki, as SIK is smallest existence formed by repeated action of consciousness, and SIK has its own vitality and spontaneousness transcending time and space, for example, the cause of emergence in complexity and self systematization is just itself, and the attracter of chaos is SIK itself. SIK is a border of subjectivity and objectivity, material and non-material, in which 'opened system' is 'closed system' in reality. Conclusively, particle formed by information field is SIK, and KI is emergence of SIK, thus, KI is consciousness.
ICR계 마우스에 대한 당귀보혈탕(當歸補血湯)의 급성 경구 독성시험

The Dangguibohyel-tang (DBT) was used to treat anemia in traditional Korean medicine. Acute oral toxicity of DBT was studied in ICR mice. ICR mice were administered orally with dosages of 100 mg/kg (low dosage group), 200 mg/kg (middle dosage group), and 400 mg/kg (high dosage group) of DBT. We daily examined number of deaths, clinical signs, body weights and gross findings for 14 days. DBT did not show any toxic effect in ICR mice and oral LD50 value was over 400 mg/kg in ICR mice.

Background: Multiple myeloma is a clonal B-cell malignancy manifested by the accumulation of terminally differentiated plasma cells. The disease is characterized by clinical heterogeneity, with survival ranging from a few months to more than 10 years. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the prognostic value of specific chromosomal abnormality in multiple myeloma. Methods: We analyzed the clinical records of 40 patients who were diagnosed as multiple myeloma, between April, 1995 and August, 2004. Cytogenetic analysis was conducted by metaphase karyotype analysis. Patients were grouped into normal cytogenetic group (arm A), complete or partial deletion of chromosome 13 and hypodiploidy group (arm B) and other cytogenetic abnormality group (arm C). Results: Median follow up duration was 13.1 months (range 1.5-92.1). Overall response rate to chemotherapy was 58.8% and response rate among arm A, B and C were 56.3%, 33.3% and 75%, respectively (p=0.229). The prognostic factors affecting survival were clinical stage, performance status, serum creatinine level, sex and chromosomal abnormality. The median overall survival was significantly different among arm A, B and C (34.9 months, 8.5 months and 19.8 months, respectively, p=0.0125). Conclusion: chromosomal abnormality, especially, complete or partial deletion of chromosome 13 and hypodiploidy at initial diagnosis is significantly associated with survival duration.
