In this study, analysis and experiments were carried out on temperature distributions and thermal deformations in a dry vacuum pump with vertical screws for safe operation. When a vacuum pump is working, it is necessary to get rid of the heat generated by the friction of bearings and the compression of air to prevent the vacuum pump from being damaged by interference between two screws and housing through thermal deformation. Additional cooling was proposed by using oil flow through the inner channel of the rotating axis for lower temperature control of the vacuum pump. Analysis and experimental results were compared in terms of temperature distribution and thermal deformation of the vacuum pump, and two sets of results matched reasonably well. These results for a dry vacuum pump with vertical screws can be used in similar model development and can minimize errors in design and manufacture by providing reasonably accurate prediction in advance.
한국 근대문헌의 디지털 텍스트 편찬과 쟁점 - 『진단학보』를 중심으로

This article explores the methodology of collaborative digital text compilation for modern Korean documents by focusing on articles published in the first through 14th issues of the Korean humanities journal Chin-Tan Hakpo. For more precise data processing, we designed XML schema of Chin-Tan Hakpo considering the philological characteristics and the possibility of utilizing the data. Based on this schema, we constructed a text input framework using MediaWiki and input both original and modernized text data for 74 out of 85 articles published in Chin-Tan Hakpo. The text data input process revealed several challenges requiring further attention, including the need for XML schema refinement, establishment of standardized rules for modern text conversion, and improvement of input tool efficiency. We hope that the experiences and lessons learned from this Chin-Tan Hakpo text compilation project will contribute to finding digital text compilation methodologies suitable for modern Korean documents through future collaborative efforts among researchers.
산업 현장에 적용할 수 있는 휴대형 정전기 측정기 설계 및 구현

In this paper, We propose a portable electrostatic meter which can measure high voltage static electricity caused by friction to prevent fire or explosion accidents in grinding, crushing, power injection, transport, filling, dust removal, painting, and foreign matter removal processes. The proposed device not only shows static electricity strength in 4 steps with respect to distance and voltage but also gives warning with a buzzer, on process facilities that are likely to generate high voltage static electricity due to friction. The device is implemented by filtering the signal detected by the wireless antenna, amplifying the signal by 6 times, and passing the signal through the integrator circuit. Tests are carried out with an electrostatic discharge simulator. And the results show that 4 LEDs are turned on at the distance of 10cm, 3 LEDs at 12cm, 2 LEDs at 13cm, and 1 LED at 15cm, when a fixed voltage of 500V is given. And also, the tests show that the static electricity can be detected at 5cm on 100V, 10cm on 200V, 15cm on 500V, 20cm on 1000V, and 25cm on 1500V. We expect to reduce accidents caused by static electricity by allowing safety managers on fields where fire or explosion accidents can happen to monitor static electricity.
