      • Embedding silica nanoparticles into polycarbonate by directional melt crystallization

        Manufacturing aligned porous materials has been important to improve the properties of polymers such as membrane filtration. Furthermore, manufacturing membranes by uniformly blending inorganic and organic materials has been useful to control the filtration performance. In this study, silica nanoparticles are homogeneously embedded in polycarbonate using a directional melt crystallization method. Using this method, silica nanoparticles are successfully embedded in the pore walls of polycarbonate, which enables to control several properties such as hydrophilicity and lipophobicity. This method can be adapted as a novel way of blending inorganic and organic material.

        $(R_{0.8}Ca_{0.2})Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-z}$ (R = Lu 및 Y)의 상 안정도 특성

        Polycrystalline samples of $(R_{0.8}Ca_{0.2})Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-z}$ (R = Lu and Y) were synthesized by a solid-state reaction route, and the phase stabilities were examined by heating at temperatures between $800^{\circ}C$ and $900^{\circ}C$ in various atmospheres. A comparative analyses of the x-ray diffraction data of the $(Lu_{0.8}Ca_{0.2})Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-z}$ and $(Y_{0.8}Ca_{0.2})Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-z}$ compounds showed that the 123 phase of both compounds is stable under heating in air and $O_2$ of 1 atm. However, contrary to the $(Y_{0.8}Ca_{0.2})Ba_2Cu_3O_{7-z}$ compound, the $(Lu_{0.8}Ca_{0.2})Ba_2Cu_3O_z$ compound was found to become unstable when heated in the low oxygen partial pressure below about 8 % $O_2\;in\;N_2$, Considering the instability of parent $LuBa_2Cu_3O_z$ compound, this result suggests that the phase stability of Lu-based 123 compounds is sensitive to both the composition and the oxygen partial pressure.

        진주시 버스 이용객 통행에 따른 도시계획시설 서비스 권역 분석

        This study aims to investigate the gap in accessibility to urban planning facilities between living spheres in local small and medium-sized cities. In this study, OD data between administrative dongs of public transportation users was constructed to analyze the living shpere, and community analysis was conducted based on cohesion between data. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that a total of 10 clusters (mid-living areas) were formed, and the topographical difference between the 11 middle living areas established in the existing Jinju City Basic Plan and the single living areas were actively exchanged to form a community with other administrative dongs. Next, the analysis of the service area of urban planning facilities for mid-living areas was conducted based on the road network. As a result of analyzing the area accessible within 5, 10, and 15 minutes, educational facilities, public facilities, cultural facilities, tourism, and green facilities could be reached within 15 minutes in most mid-living areas. On the other hand, there were many areas where access to transportation facilities, medical facilities, and cultural facilities was difficult within 15 minutes. In particular, the accessibility of the outer living area and the central living area were different. To improve the quality of life of citizens, using urban planning facilities in Jinju-si and establishing related plans in urban basic plans, it is necessary to conduct a study on service areas through network analysis.

        Effects of Dongchimi Powder as a Natural Nitrite Source on Quality Properties of Emulsion-Type Sausages

        The use of nitrite as a conventional curing agent is decreasing because of the negative consumer perception of synthetic compounds in foods. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the efficacy of dongchimi as an alternative to synthetic nitrite and its effect on the qualitative properties of emulsion-type sausages. Under all tested fermentation conditions, both nitrite and nitrate contents were the highest when dongchimi was fermented at 0℃ for 1 wk. The fermented dongchimi was powdered and added to the sausages. Emulsion-type sausages were prepared with 0.25% (treatment 1), 0.35% (treatment 2), 0.45% (treatment 3), or 0.55% (treatment 4) dongchimi powder, with 0.01% sodium nitrite-treated (control 1) and 0.40% celery powder-treated (control 2) sausages as controls. There were not different (p>0.05) in the pH, cooking yield, CIE L*, and CIE a* between the control 1 and treatments 2, 3, and 4. CIE b* was significantly higher (p<0.05) in the control 2 and lower (p<0.05) in the control 1 than that in the other groups. Treatment 4 and control 1 had similar contents of residual nitrite, nitrosyl hemochrome, and total pigment. Additionally, treatment 4 exhibited a significantly better (p<0.05) curing efficiency than the control 1. However, naturally cured sausages showed higher (p<0.05) lipid oxidation than the control 1. This study suggests that the use of more than 0.35% dongchimi powder could replace sodium nitrite or celery powder as curing agents for emulsion-type sausages.

        플라스틱 기어의 트라이볼로지적 특성 향상을 위한 DLC 코팅 적용

        Demand for plastic gears are increasing in many industries due to their low production cost, light weight, applicability without lubricant, corrosion resistance and high resilience. Despite these benefits, utilizing plastic gears is limited due to their poor material properties. In this work, DLC coating was applied to improve the tribological properties of polyamide66 gear. 0 V, 40 V, and 70 V of negative bias voltages were selected as a deposition parameter in DC magnetron sputtering system. Pin-on-disk experiment was performed in order to investigate the wear characteristics of the gears. The results of the pin-on-disk experiment showed that DLC coated polyamide66 with 40 V of negative bias voltage had the lowest friction coefficient value (0.134) and DLC coated PA66 with 0 V of negative bias voltage showed the best wear resistance (9.83×10-10 mm3/N·mm) among all the specimens. Based on these results, durability tests were conducted for DLC coated polyamide66 gears with 0 V of negative bias voltage. The tests showed that the temperature of the uncoated polyamide66 gear increased to about 37oC while the DLC coated gear saturated at about 25oC. Also, the power transmission efficiency of the DLC coated gear increased by about 6% compared to those without coating. Weight loss of the polyamide66 gears were reduced by about 73%.

      • 픽사의 단편 애니메이션을 활용한 유아 창의성 증진 프로그램 개발 연구

        본 연구는 픽사의 단편 애니메이션을 활용한 유아 창의성 증진 프로그램 개발연구로, 본 프로그램이 유아의 창의성 교육에 적합한지에 대한 타당성을 검증하고 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 부산광역시에 소재한 K유치원의 만 5세 유아 10명을 대상으로하였다. 연구방법으로 활동주제별 창의성 요소(민감성, 상상력, 융통성, 독창성, 정교성)와 영상선정기준(음악성, 영상성, 예술성)에 의해 단편 애니메이션 10편을 선정하였다. 프로그램은 제목에 대한 내용을 상상하는 도입부분, 영상 시청-문제 장면 설정-영상 분석-활동 진행의 총 4단계로 이루어진 전개부분과 정리하는 단계인 마무리부분의 내용으로 고안하였다. 고안한 프로그램을 유아교육 박사 및 교수 4인과 유아교육 현장교사 2인 총 6인의 전문가에게 타당화 검증을 의뢰하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 유아 창의성 증진 프로그램의 방향 및 내용, 방법 설정은 만 5세 유아의 발달적 수준과 흥미를 고려하였다. 프로그램 방향과 내용, 현장에서 실시 할 때의 적합성과 효율성 등을 검토한 유아 창의성 증진 프로그램이 개발되었다. 이는 픽사의 단편 애니메이션을 활용한 유아 창의성 증진 프로그램 개발과 동시에 유아교육 현장교사들의 단편 애니메이션 활용도를 높여줌을 시사한다.

        Effects of radish powder concentration and incubation time on the physicochemical characteristics of alternatively cured pork products

        Previous research has indicated that radish powder could be a suitable replacement for chemical nitrite sources in alternatively cured meat products. However, the effects of radish powder level on the physicochemical properties of cured meat have not been systematically studied. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effects of varying concentrations of radish powder and incubation time on the physicochemical properties and cured meat pigments of alternatively cured meat products. We divided our experimental setup into seven groups with different radish powder concentrations and incubation times: control (0.01% sodium nitrite), treatment 1 (0.15% radish powder and 2 h incubation), treatment 2 (0.15% radish powder and 4 h incubation), treatment 3 (0.30% radish powder and 2 h ni cubation), treatment 4 (0.30% radish powder and 4 h incubation), treatment 5 (0.30% celery powder and 2 h incubation), and treatment 6 (0.30% celery powder and 4 h incubation). The cooking yield, CIE a* values (redness), and total pigment levels were not significantly different (p > 0.05) between any of the alternatively cured treatments and the control. However, when 0.30% radish powder or celery powder was added to the products, the CIE b* values increased significantly (p < 0.05) with incubation time. At the same vegetable concentration, the nitrite content, nitrosyl hemochrome, and curing efficiency also increased significantly (p < 0.05) as the incubation time increased from 2 to 4 h, regardless of the types of vegetable powder. Among the meat products cured with radish powder, treatment 4 showed the highest increase in residual nitrite content, nitrosyl hemochrome content, and curing efficiency, but showed decreased lipid oxidation. Our results suggest that increased concentrations of radish powder and longer incubation times would be more suitable for producing alternatively cured meat products comparable to traditionally cured products treated with synthetic nitrite.
