        오염부지 최적 개념모델 수립을 위한 전략적 샘플링 기법 소개

        Even though a systematic sampling approach is very crucial in both the general and detailed investigation phases to produce the best conceptual site model for contaminated sites, the concept is not yet established in South Korea. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued the 'Strategic Sampling Approaches Technical guide' in 2018 to help environmental professionals choose which sampling approaches may be needed and most effective for given site conditions. The EPA guide broadly defines strategic sampling as the application of focused data collection across targeted areas of the conceptual site model (CSM) to provide the appropriate amount and type of information needed for decision-making. These strategic sampling approaches can prevent the essential data from missing, minimize the uncertainty of projects and secure the data which are necessary for the important site-decisions. Furthermore, these provide collaborative data sets through the life cycle phases of projects, which can generate more positive proofs on the site-decisions. The strategic sampling approaches can be divided by site conditions. This technical guide categorized it into eight conditions; High-resolution site characterization in unconsolidated environments, High-resolution site characterization in fractured sedimentary rock environments, Incremental sampling, Contaminant source definition, Passive groundwater sampling, Passive sampling for surface water and sediment, Groundwater to surface water interaction, and Vapor intrusion. This commentary paper introduces specific sampling methods based on site conditions when the strategic sampling approaches are applied.

        추출용매에 따른 당삼 추출물의 미백 활성 변화

        This study was designed to compare the anti-oxidant activity and anti-melanogenic effect of Codonopsis pilosula extracts (CPE) according to extraction solvents. Codonopsis pilosula was treated with distilled water (CPE-DW) and 70% EtOH (CPE-EtOH), respectively. The total polyphenol and flavonoid contents of CPE-EtOH and CPE-DW were 6.11, 8.54 μg/mg and 1.59, 2.44 μg/mg, respectively. In antioxidant activities through DPPH, ABTS radical scavenging activity, and reducing power of CPE, CPE-DW showed higher scavenging activities than those of CPE-EtOH. Furthermore, The melanin contents of CPE-EtOH and DW treatment at 100 μg/mL were significantly inhibited by 22% and 33% in melana cells, respectively (p<0.01). Its anti-melanogenic effect was originated from the inhibition of intra-cellular tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis related protein expression by CPE treatment in a dose dependent manner. Taken together, We suggest that Codonopsis pilosula extracts may be useful as a natural active ingredient for whitening cosmetics.

        만화애니메이션을 활용한 집단미술치료가 아동의 정서지능과 사회성에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to find out how group art therapy using cartoon animation affects children’s emotional intelligence and social skills. The study target was a first-year child attending an elementary school located in N.M., radioed out 12 experimental and control groups. A total of 14 studies were conducted from August to November 2016, excluding pre-and post-mortem examinations for 90 minutes a week. The pre- and post-change was analyzed using the social scale to identify the change in emotional intelligence and social characteristics. The study found that first, group art therapy using animation had a positive effect on children’s emotional intelligence. Emotional recognition, expression, and empathy were statistically significant among the areas of emotional intelligence, but they did not show significant differences in emotional control. Second, group art therapy using cartoon animation had a positive effect on children’s social skills. There was a significant effect in the whole area of diligence, co-operation, accountability and interpersonal relationships among the sub-regions of social scale. Therefore, as a result of applying collective art therapy using cartoon animation to children, the emotional intelligence and sociality of children have been improved.

        선박 도착시간의 불확실성에 강건한 선석 계획

        본 연구의 목적은 선석 계획 수립 시에 선박 도착시간의 불확실성에 따른 피해를 대비할 수 있는 방법론을 개발하는 데에 있다. 세계적으로 수입량과 수출량이 급증하면서 컨테이너 터미널 선석 계획의 효율화가 더욱 중요해졌다. 선석 계획은 컨테이너 터미널의 처리용량을 결정하기 때문에 선박 사이의 시간과 공간적 간격을 최소화하여 선석 활용도를 극대화하는 것이 중요하다. 실제 선석을 운영할 때에는 여러 불확실한 요소로 인해서 선박이 예정보다 늦게 도착하는 경우 기존의 선석 계획이 틀어지게 되면서 터미널이 큰 피해를 입게 된다. 이러한 피해를 방지하기 위해 본 논문에서는 기존의 문헌들을 조사하여 완충 시간을 도입하는 방법을 제안한다. The purpose of this study is to develop a proactive methodology for disruption due to uncertainty in vessels’ arrival time. As worldwide imports and exports increased rapidly, the importance of berth planning in container terminals has increased accordingly. Since the berth plan determines the capacity of the container terminal, it aims to maximize efficiency by minimizing the time and space gap between the vessels. In reality, several uncertainties disrupt the initial berth plan resulting in economic losses. In this study, we propose a robust berth plan for preventing disruption.

        폐 FRP 선박 처리시설 입지선정문제

        FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) ships are easy to manufacture and repair. Also they are more durable and cheaper than steel wires and neck lines. Therefore FRP ships are widely used in small ships. In Korea, the amount of waste FRP ships is increasing. It is expected that a large amount of waste FRP ships will be generated. Waste FRP ships are emerging as a social problem, such as the difficulty in preserving the marine environment. To improve this, a waste FRP ship melting process system has been developed. In order to construct an effective waste FRP ship processing system, it is necessary to study the treatment facilities location problem. In this paper, we suggest mathematical model to solve optimal location problem of waste FRP Ships and discuss on results by applying it to nine regions selected as candidates for treatment facilities.

      • 사진 데이터로 본 미세먼지 단계 추정 시스템 : 딥러닝 기술의 적용

        미세먼지 단계를 예측하는 딥러닝 기반 시스템을 개발하고 그 성능을 평가하는 연구를 진행했다. 연구에서 320개의 풍경 사진 데이터를 수집하고, 해당 시점의 미세먼지 농도를 측정하여 “좋음” 또는 “나쁨”으로 분류했다. 데이터 전처리 단계에서는 특히 하늘 이미지의 특성을 고려하여 다양한 전처리 기법을 적용하였다. 다섯 가지 이미지 데이터 모델을 사용하여 이미지를 분류하고 미세먼지 단계를 예측하는 모델을 개발하였으며, 또 이 모델들을 다양한 기법으로 앙상블 해보며 성능을 비교했다. 그 결과, Random Forest를 이용한 앙상블 모델이 제일 뛰어난 예측 성능을 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 미세먼지 모니터링 및 예측에 유용한 시스템 개발의 가능성을 제시한다.

      • 학술 논문 : 성능, 사용성, 전과정 평가를 통한 헤어 드라이기의 친환경적 설계안 개발

        친환경적 제품은 제품의 원재료 취득부터 폐기에 이르는 전과정에서 발생하는 환경적 영향을 줄이기 위해 개발된다. 본 연구는 제품의 친환경성뿐만 아니라 성능과 사용성을 고려하여 헤어드라이어대한 설계 개선안을 제시하였다. 두 가지 헤어드라이기(J사, V사)를 대상으로 제품 성능(온도, 풍속, 소음, 소비전력)을 측정하였고, 사용성(정보제공성, 학습용이성, 버튼 조작용이성, 그립감, 전반적 만족도)을 평가하였으며, 환경 영향(지구온난화지수와 재활용가능율)을 평가하여 비교분석을 통해 선호되는 설계 특성을 파악하였다. 이러한 다양한 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구는 에너지 효율성, 사용자친화성, 그리고 재활용성을 향상시킬 수 있는 헤어드라이어 설계 개선안들(brushless DC 모터, Teflon case, 벌집구조 coil, 설정 기억 버튼, 탈부착식 먼지필터, 폐제품 할인쿠폰)을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 설계안들은 친환경적인 헤어드라이어를 위한 설계지침으로 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Eco products are developed to reduce environmental impacts throughout all life cyclephases from material acquisition to disposal. The present study proposed novel design solutions of electric hair dryer by considering performance and usability as well as eco-friendliness. Preferred design features were identified by benchmarking two electrichair dryers (companies ``J`` and ``V``) using performance measurements (temperature, airspeed, noise, and electric power consumption), usability scores (informativeness, ease of learning, ease of button operation, grip fit, and overall satisfaction), and eco-friendliness indexes (global warming potential and recyclability rate). Design solutions (e.g., brushless DC motor, Teflon case, honey comb coil structure, memory button, removable dustfilter, and recycling promotion) of electric hair dryer were proposed for better energy efficiency, user friendliness, and recyclability. These proposed concepts would be useful as a design guideline for an eco-friendly electric hair dryer.

        식용버섯의 면역조절에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 식용버섯들의 면역조절기능제로서의 가치 여부를 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. 본 연구를 위해 민자주방망이버섯, 먹물버섯, 표고버섯, 새송이버섯이 사용되었다. 버섯을 투여한 생쥐의 혈장 내 IgG1, IgG2a 수준을 측정하였고, 비장 단일 세포군을 이용하여 T 림프구 및 B 림프구 in vitro활성화 결과 생성된 IFN-γ와 IL-4, IgG1과 IgG2a 수준을 각각 분석하였다. 실험 결과 표고버섯 1 ㎎/체중 ㎏을 투여한 군에서 IFNγ/IL-4의 비가 다른 군에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 또한 혈장 내 IgG2a/IgG1의 비가 표고버섯의 경우에 다른 군보다 높았다. 아울러 TNFα의 생성 역시 표고버섯 1 ㎎/체중 ㎏을 투여한 군에서 다른 군보다 높았다. 이는 표고버섯이 항암작용, 항바이러스 작용과 같은 type-1 반응을 촉진할 가능성이 있음을 예측케 해주는 결과라 생각된다. This study was carried out to evaluate the immunomodulatory capacity of edible mushrooms, including Lepista nuda, Corprinis comatus, Letinus edodes, and Pleurotus eryngii, in mice. BALB/c mice were administered 1, 50, and 500 ㎎/㎏ body weight of various mushrooms five times a week over 4 weeks through gastric intubation. The control mice were administered distilled water. No significant changes in body weight were observed. IL-4 and IFNγ production was evaluated with splenic T lymphocytes stimulated in vitro with phytohemagglutinins for 48 hr. The mice group administered L. edodes showed significantly higher ratio of IFNγ versus IL-4 than the other groups. In addition, the ratio of plasma IgG2a versus IgG1 was also significantly elevated in mice treated with L. edodes. However, no significant change was observed in ratio of IgG2a versus IgG1 in splenic B lymphocytes stimulated in vitrowith lipopolysaccharides for 7 days. These results indicate that L. edodescan enhance type-1 helper T cell-mediated cellular immunity.

        부산국제영화제 관광동기, 만족, 재방문의도에 미치는 영향관계

        As the role of IT technology in tourism industry becomes increasingly important, the user`s behavior for the ubiquitous tourism service should be identified. So in this study, we analyze how the users respond to the ubiquitous tourism service for PIFF(Pusan International Film Festival). We study the interaction among the tourism motives, the satisfaction and the usage intention of the ubiquitous tourism service. Drawing on the data from 195 participants in PIFF who experienced the ubiquitous tourism service, we statistically analyzed these data using factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. The finding shows that there are 1) the significant relationship between tourism motivations and U-PIFF service factor satisfaction, 2) the partial relationship between tourism motivations and U-PIFF information service factor satisfaction, 3) the significant relationship between satisfactions(U-PIFF service factor satisfaction and U-PIFF information service) and revisit intention. This study presents important implications for ubiquitous tourism service as follows. The first implication is that users are more satisfied with static image as the contents than dynamic image because the function as the-state-of-the-art technology of speed and display is limited. Secondly, the data about tourism as ubiquitous service should be simple and timely updated because ubiquitous tourism service is real time service. Thirdly, event markets are appeared prospective for ubiquitous tourism service because event tourists such like U-PIFF participants are more willing to pay for this service than any other tourists.
